When I say you have to come here, you have to come here. As I walked in the owner was super friendly & also he made sure my food was brought out by him. I ordered the chilaquiles which were the red adobo sauce with a medium eggs order with rice and beans and pico de gallo. The chilaquiles were topped with Queso fresco. Great local spot for Mexican food. I got the chile relleno, taco, and enchilada combo plate. The enchilada I got carnitas and taco carne asada. Out of the three items I would rank my favs taco, chile relleno and enchilada in taste. But the taco and Chile relleno are a close tie. I like their chips, they have some integrity to them and went limp like some other places. Their salsa is also good and very refreshing with a kick to it towards the end. This restaurant is located in a shopping center. We ate here for lunch and the food was delicious! The ingredients are fresh and very flavorful. We sat down and had chips and salsa. My husband just brought food home from here for the first time this morning and wow I am thrilled! It's very hard to find Mexican food place that checks all the boxes. The first thing we try are the chips, it sets the tone for the meal. These were perfect! Crunchy, fresh, thick, and great taste. Chorizo Breakfast burrito- Amazing! Perfect mixture of ingredients, potatoes cooked all the way(hard to find these days) and large size. I had a super burrito with carne asada which was also amazing, I ate half and I'm stuffed! No skimping on the ingredients, the meat was easy to eat and high quality with no weird pieces (I get the ick from low quality meat) . We got a side of rice and it was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing! Another hard thing to find. And the salsas were so good. They have a couple different types to choose from, all different flavors, all fresh and delicious. My husband says The place was clean and the owner was so nice and helpful and he could tell they really care about their customers and the quality of food they put out. I haven't had a good breakfast burrito in Sonoma county in probably 10 years! We will definitely be back and highly recommend this place. read more

Our new favorite Mexican food restaurant! I haven't had a really good chile relleno since I lived near El Paso over 50 years ago. Most of the time places saturate them in grease, serve luke warm or skimp on the cheese filling. But now I have found the BEST chile relleno EVER at Los Arcos! Los Arcos prides itself on gluten-free, non-fried fare. The result is an amazing chile relleno! I also had a taco and an enchilada asked the owner to surprise me with the meat choice. The enchilada was generously filled with shredded pork and the taco, OH, THE TACO!,, had the absolute BEST carne asada ever to please my palate! That carne asada was so flavorful and paired extremely well with the chile relleno and enchilada! Needless to say, I was STUFFED from this lunchtime meal that carried me from lunch and past dinnertime. I can't wait to return to Los Arcos on our next visit to Santa Rosa! Knowing the foods are prepared with good health in mind and that the preparation maintains, or better stated, expands, the terrific taste and flavor is a HUGE plus! We got two burritos. One with lengua and one with carne asada and shrimp. Both were really good. Notably the tortillas had great texture. The portions are also generous and the whole thing adds up to a very pleasing and unctuous mix. Note that medium spicy salsa here is reasonably hot. Would def stop here again. read more

Couldn't stop eating the chips because of the fresh selection of salsas. My husbands burrito was bigger than his hand & my chimichanga was one of the best I've had in quite some time. Most people it seems do takeout here. We are there as we are from out of town & table service was friendly & helpful. Food came pretty quickly. Wow... Now those are carne asada tacos! We've been on vacation from Texas through 6 other states in the South. They are void of real Mexican food as well as good restaurants period... Take out Carne Asada Tacos were fabulous tonight. Loaded with plenty of tasty, marinated, tender beef. And not some skimpy or some (I got a better idea) interpretation of what we came across in the South. Those poor people need to come to California to get great Mexican food as well as enjoy some of beautiful California. Go ahead move there if you want... What a great spot for fantastic Mexican food. Chips and the green (not too spicy) and red salsas (perfectly spicy) were sooooooo good! We had combo. plates with tacos (carnitas and al pastor), enchiladas (shredded beef) and chile rellenos. The different meats were delicious.........flavorful, juicy and well prepared! The servings were very generous, to say the least. Chile relleno was lightly battered with lots of cheese......just delicious. The sauces on the enchiladas and relleno were really delicious and complimented each perfectly. Really good rice and refried beans as well. Summary: Excellent quality food for the price. Very friendly staff. Non traditional margaritas made with orange juice and lemonade. Massive burritos. Solid salsa bar selection. My wife and I came here with her parents while we were in the area during a visit. It's a small place and they close very punctually (but they let us stay and finish while they closed up). I got a wet burrito, which was huge and quite tasty. My father-in-law also got a burrito and a salad, with one of the house margaritas that was a little strange, but was still consumed. My wife got the camarones al diabla, which were quite good and substantial in portion, and my mother-in-law got a chicken quesadilla and enjoyed that too. Simply put: Los Arcos is some of the best Mexican food that you can get in Santa Rosa (and possibly Sonoma County!) I've both dined in (fabulous service!) and ordered food to go. Popular place on the westside of Santa Rosa. Service was attentive. You choose salsas as you arrive at the salsa bar in disposable plastic cups...ugh. These green and red salsas were fine and served with chips. I had the chicken chimichanga and he had a chicken burrito. I actually had guacamole and pico de gallo served with mine, but he had no toppings. He said he loved the way Chipotle does their burritos. The meat is seasoned. That's why we loved the Mexican place in Ukiah some much. Their burritos were very flavorful. We were spoiled in Colorado with great Mexican food in abundance and burritos there are smothered in green chile sauce with guacamole and sour cream. We're not fans of pico, too many onions. However, this establishment does serve alcohol and has a variety of veggie and vegan options to choose from on their menu. So that's good to know. The Los Arcos in Denver metro has very good food. It is a large restaurant with Mariachis. Every Mexican place we've been to here is a tiny place, which may fit 50 people. At any rate, we'll keep trying to find that perfect place in Santa Rosa for Mexican food. read more

Firstly, service anywhere is key, these folks were awesome. Then the food was delicious, I am a bit tired of the more upscale Mexican restaurants now, these smaller family owned places, way better. I had the chimichanga with the fixings and I am glad I did, we also had 3 tacos and a torta and we would all be back again. They had some great sounding breakfast items so that is a hook for us as well. Loved this place and highly recommend it. Great Value. read more
