I went on a Thursday evening. There was a bit of a line up, but nothing crazy. I asked an employee how long they estimated my wait to be, and they said an hour and a half. He said that every 5 people, they serve one vehicle. A lot of people gave up and left. Personally, the wait wasn't too bad because the sun had set. Shrimp Burger: Best burger on the American menu, and pretty accurate to the one sold in Korea. However, my patty wasn't crispy! I was really looking forward to having a hot, crispy patty, so it was a letdown. Still tasted great. Bulgogi Burger: The patty is completely different than the one in Korea. Not bad, just different. Also, I feel like they diluted the sauce (less garlic etc) to cater to the western crowd. I'm going to pass on this one next time. Bibimbap Burger: Kinda strange. There was a fried egg in it because it's a bibimbap burger. The texture of the rice is also chewy in order to keep the shape of the patty. Not my favorite. I had to wait until the hype died down a bit to even attempt this place. The lines were HOURS long up to a month after opening, and I guess people learned what Koreans in South Korea already knew: this place is no different than any burger joint we already have here in SoCal. Now, I do admit their Shrimp Burger was tasty, but the two times I have been here the actual bun had been cold. Its like they took it out of the bag and just prepped it like that, no pit stop at any grill. The Bulgogi Burger did have a tiny bit more flavor but the fries were average and I simply didnt justify the price for the tiny sizd each burger had. I remember all the hype about this place, but I waited months after the opening to give them time to get their stuff together. service was fine and fast. But I think that's where the good stuff stops. Tried the double bulgogi burger and unfortunately it was coldish. And it was not a down time either, I came Sunday lunch time and there were no tables left. So not sure why they felt they had to precook the burger and not keep it warm at least. It has a sweet mayo, meh, and tons of lettuce which was nice. Fries were crispy and semi warm, but admittedly tasteless and oddly kind semi battered, like they coated them with a starch slurry. Although the wait was long it's to be expected because of its popularity. I really enjoyed my overall experience because the service was very nice and fast once you are inside. It was really hot today but they provided free umbrellas! Of course you give them back at the end but I think it was a very nice gesture from them. Do not ever go here. This place turned into a joke. Today, I went here for late lunch. This was my second time visit after the grand opening. Inside of the restaurant was empty, and I could understand the exact reason right after I received my order. I ordered one bulgogi burger combo, and it was an absolute trash for almost 14 dollars. French fries were cold, and the beef patty inside of the hamburger was very small and super dry. The bulgogi burger sauce wasn't the same sauce that I tasted during their grand opening. This time I couldn't taste anything other than sugar and mayo. Lettuce and onions inside of the hamburger weren't fresh at all. Eventually, I couldn't finish my meal, and I had to throw almost half of my burger and fries into the trash can, because it was too disgusting to eat. The sauce was overpowering and masked the flavor of the shrimp. The bulgogi burger was way too sweet, which made it hard to enjoy. The shaken chicken was tough, and the onion-flavored seasoning packet we chose was also overly sweet rather than oniony. I would not recommend the onion flavor. Skip it and go for the cheese flavor instead, which was much better. The cup bingsoo was just okay. It contained red bean, mochi, fruit, and a Korean cookie, but the overall flavor was not very memorable. Ok so I finally tried this place out and so far it hits!!!! The shrimp burger was made love and saucy and the spicy fries was hot but fresh as well! Lotteria is a one-trick pony for me. If you're coming here, come only for the shrimp burger. That's the standout and honestly the only reason I'd return. It's crispy, flavorful, and actually lives up to the hype. Everything else on the menu is pretty underwhelming. The other burgers, sides, and overall experience feel forgettable and not worth going out of your way for. Nothing is bad per se, just very "meh" compared to the shrimp burger. The staff was friendly, and the food came out hot and fresh. I ordered the Bulgogi Deluxe Burger, Shrimp Burger, two fries, and a bingsu. The Bulgogi Deluxe Burger is definitely the one to get--it's much better than the regular bulgogi burger and tastes like teriyaki-style burger. If you like bulgogi you will like this. The Shrimp Burger reminded me of a thicker patty, fancier version of McDonald's Filet-O-Fish, and I'd highly recommend it as well. The fries with onion cheese powder, however, were a disappointment; the onion flavor reminded me of baby formula mixed with onion Pringles, and the cheese powder had a strange sweet Cheetos vibe, so I don't recommend adding the powder at all. I would definitely get this again. 8.5/10 Bulgogi Burger- the burger is good but way too much sauce and overly sweet. I feel like if they added less sauce the burger would be better. 6/10 Bibim rice burger- this was super messy and the least tasty one. The rice patties were kind of flavorless and I didn't care for it at all. 3/10 Shaken fries- we got the seasoning for both onion and cheese that comes on the side and both were tasty. 8/10 Shaken chicken- I liked this one a lot. It was extra extra crispy which I enjoy but could see that it might not be for everyone. I'm not sure where they go but they seem to enjoy hiding from customers rather than actually helping them. That's why I had to order at the kiosk. The very first week was a madhouse and had over 100 cars and people lining outside. I tried the mad dash but after two hours of Umbrella Holding outside, I finally gave up. Today it felt right. I'm here at 10:35 am and waited just fifteen minutes to get inside. The order number was 60. I ordered the maximum allowed ten burgers: 2 Bulgogi, 2 shrimp, 2 bulgogi deluxe, 2 bibim rice, 2 bulgogi-shrimp burgers, 2 K-BBQ fries, 1 shake it fries onion. 1 shake it fries cheese and 1 K-sweet & spicy chicken fries in the tune of $117.38. That includes $8.43 city food tax at Fullerton! I'm not sure but the smell is like shrimp or something fishy. It looks as though people inside were enjoying their meal.
