Between 4 of us, we tried mostly the whole menu. The fries I thought were pretty good. The Bulgogi burger was ok. The shrimp burger I actually liked. The Teri burger I thought was actually good. The bingsu was just ok. There was plenty parking when we went and the place was also very clean
Finally found the time to visit LOTTERIA and my partner and I were excited to try the original K-Burger concept fast food. Comparing them with classic American style concept burgers is fascinating. We ordered 4 shrimp burgers, shake it nuggets (onion seasoning), and shake it fries (cheese seasoning), all to share and our order came out pretty quickly. Pretty efficient with the speed. We also noticed 3 self ordering kiosks but they were all offline. Interior is pretty clean and spacious, plenty of tables indoor and outdoor has some as well. Pretty standard for a fast food restaurant. I also noticed that on the left wall, they had popular kpop boy group TXT visiting LOTTERIA, very cool! Food wise, I was impressed with the shrimp burger, it wasn't too heavy and the shrimp portion is flavorful. I was impressed with the sizing of the burger as well. As for the shake it fries and nuggets, they were also very delicious. I personally prefer the nuggets as they had a bit of sweet taste to it along with saltiness. The fries on the other hand were also delicious, not rock solid but it gets pretty messy with the seasoning. It can get salty to a point so this pairs well with a drink. Overall, impressed with LOTTERIA, quality is pretty good for a fast food chain, staff is efficient as well so that's a huge plus. Definitely coming back in the future to try their other menu items.
Finally got to check this place out. We got here about 30min before closing so my opinion might be a bit skewed. The fries were meh but probably because it's the end of the day. I got the shrimp burger and the chicken sandwich. The shrimp burger was tiny and had lots of small shrimps but also contain a lot of fillers. Taste was ok. I wouldn't order that again. The chicken sandwhich was good. It was bigger and tastier. I would order their chicken sandwhich again. Service was quick. Will have to try this place again when it's not close to closing time.

Food is pricy and is a hit or a miss. The regular shrimp burger didn't taste crispy as they market it, but the double shrimp buger was crispy with pickles which made it taste so much better. Their shake it fries are so small for $3.79 but the cheese one is pretty good so I'm torn. Service can be a hit or a miss. The male worker is very kind and friendly.
Lotteria is the biggest burger chain and the first hamburger quick-service restaurant (1979) in South Korea and this is the first U.S. location. There was a lot of hype when this spot first opened, but the hype has died down and I did not have to wait in line during my recent visit. [Parking]: There is a drive-thru lane, but the fast food spot is located in a large plaza so parking was not an issue. [Ordering]: I placed my order via one of two kiosks and in less than five minutes I received a text message stating that my order was ready. However, when I walked up to the pickup counter, the staff looked confused. Once I showed her my text, she realized that my order was indeed ready. [Menu]: The top two items recommended on Yelp are Shrimp Burger and Bulgogi Burger. *** Bulgogi Burger (grilled onion - $6.49): The burger had a sweet aftertaste but came with a soggy bun like McDonald's. The sauce tasted slightly too overwhelming for my liking. Shrimp Burger ($6.99): A solid burger and the shrimp was fried in the shape of a Filet-O-Fish patty. The portion left something to be desired, but it tasted alright. *** Overall think of this place as having an In-N-Out vibe with a red and yellow color scheme but McDonald's-quality burgers. 3.5-star on Bulgogi and Shrimp Burgers but the buns were a bit soggy and sad. Bump down to 3-star on mediocre service.
Ever since I heard about the opening of Lotteria in Fullerton, I had been wanting to check it out. Their menu has a distinctly Korean twist, making it an interesting alternative to the more familiar burger chains in California. I am super glad that my partner and I finally decided to make the drive there. Between the two of us, we shared four Shrimp Burgers, an order of Shake It Fries, and an order of Shake It Nuggets. For the fries and nuggets, we tried both the cheese and onion seasoning packets. The portion sizes turned out to be bigger than I expected. The standout of the meal was undoubtedly the Shrimp Burger. Each burger was packed with flavor, and the shrimp patty had an especially satisfying, tender texture. The fries and nuggets were also enjoyable, particularly because the seasoning packets allowed us to customize the flavor. Both the cheese and onion seasonings were good, but the onion seasoning was my clear favorite, offering a more savory and aromatic flavor. The fries were nicely crisp with a satisfying crunch, while the nuggets were juicy and tender on the inside. For a fast-food restaurant, the service was impressively quick. Our entire order was ready within about five minutes, which made the experience feel efficient without sacrificing the quality of the food. The restaurant also has a drive-thru and plenty of indoor seating, making it a convenient option whether you're grabbing a quick meal or planning to sit down and eat.
Deals and me, count me in! Saw their first anniversary special and decided to try their shrimp burgers, which were $1 (up until 8/16). Shrimp burgers were okay to me, nothing too special where I would go out of my way to come back. They have some type of thousand island-like dressing inside with some lettuce. I'm glad that I got to try it when it was $1 because $6.99 seems pretty pricey to me. Also tried their shake it fries with onion powder, which was also just okay. I prefer Potato Corner's fries as the onion powder here was not up to par. Service was still good despite the busy influx of customers for their anniversary deal, so thumbs up for that-- I only waited around 5-10 minutes. There was an ample amount of seating, and I really liked the design of the place-- so cute (I mean look at the hamburgers with the winky and side eyes). The new matcha cup bingsu looked pretty interesting, so maybe I would come back just to try that!
I went to the Lotteria in Fullerton twice recently, and I got the shrimp burger both times. It really brought back fond memories of eating it in Korea back in the day, and the taste was just as great as I remembered. On top of that, the store and the restrooms were very clean, which made the experience even better. The staff were friendly and handled everything quickly, too. I'll definitely be stopping by again whenever I'm in Orange County.
Came here twice in the past two weeks for their recent anniversary promos. Last week I got their $1 bibim rice wrap which was pretty good. Basically like a rice burrito with a bit of beef inside, and decently spicy from the gochujang sauce. Then the next week I went for the $1 shrimp burger, which was SUCH a good deal, and a solid burger tbh. The inside feels very much like a very clean fast food restaurant, like a burger king or mcdonalds. I also came near the end of the business hours so there was a long line of other people trying to get the promo. Even the drive through line was crazy long. Despite that, the servers handled the rush really well both times and were friendly enough. Would recommend trying them out if you're interested and curious. Shout out to the business for hosting these promos, they're such a good deal and I don't think I would try them otherwise as this location is very out of the way for me. But now I think I might try more of their other food if I'm ever in the area.
I loved my first experience at Lotteria so much, I just wish they had one closer to home :( I initially came because I'm a huge fan of TXT and I knew that they had been largely involved in the promo when this location first opened. It was so fun to see their pictures and a shirt that they had signed right when I walked in, but the food itself was so delicious and fresh that I was already thinking of an excuse to come all the way to Fullerton again. The space was very clean and has an elevated McDonald's feel. I ordered on a kiosk and my food came out relatively quickly. As it's pretty far, we decided to try a few different things from the menu, but my favorite had to be the Shrimp Burger. The patty itself was so flavorful and the texture was great; it was perfectly crispy and the bigger pieces of shrimp were a perfect addition. Next time, I would probably skip out on the Shake It Chicken because I felt like I got more batter than actual chicken, but the Shake It Fries with cheese powder were a must-order. We also tried the Bibim Rice Burger which had a more savory and spicy flavor but was pretty difficult to eat. Overall, I enjoyed my experience and will definitely make it a point to stop by whenever i'm in the OC.
On Sunday, June 28th, I visited Lotteria in Fullerton and bought a shrimp burger as a snack for $7.53. A few days later, I saw on social media that Lotteria was celebrating America's 250th anniversary by offering its Double Shrimp Burger for just $2.50 for two days only, on July 2nd and July 3rd. Since it was such a great deal, I went back for lunch on July 3rd. The restaurant was busy, probably because of the promotion. The $2.50 Double Shrimp Burger was limited to two per customer, but the burger was much bigger than I expected. Since it was a double shrimp burger, it was very filling, and I was completely stuffed after finishing just one. The staff members were all friendly, and the burger was delicious. I had a great experience and would definitely come back again.
After seeing billboards for this place, I honestly thought it had to be some amazing new burger spot. Unfortunately, my experience was the exact opposite. The food didn't make a good first impression. The presentation alone left a lot to be desired. The Chicken Sandwich looked hastily assembled, with a squished bun, lettuce spilling everywhere, and a giant chicken filet awkwardly hanging out the sides. The Shrimp and Bulgogi Burger looked just as sloppy. I can't believe they would think that it was OK to serve the burgers to customers this way. Still, I figured maybe they would taste better than they looked. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. The Bulgogi Burger was underwhelming and tasted like a basic burger with a super sweet BBQ sauce. The patty was thin, the toppings were messy, and the cheese wasn't melted. We had specifically requested extra melting because we noticed this issue in photos beforehand, but it still arrived the same way. How are people raving on and on about the Shrimp Burger? It tasted so weird. I felt like I was eating fried dough with some shrimp pieces mixed in there. If the patty only consisted of shrimp, made into paste, mixed with breadcrumbs then deep fried, I might've enjoyed it a little more. Quite frankly that was kind of what I had envisioned in my mind, but boy was I disappointed. Since the burgers were fairly small and we couldn't finish the Shrimp Burger because ... "Hello taste?! You in there?'' we ordered the Fried Chicken Sandwich hoping it would redeem the meal. Unfortunately, that was another letdown. The chicken looked nothing like the advertised photos. (See the comparison photo if you don't believe me.) The filet was flat, lacked the crispy coating, tasted old and stale, and overall not the kind of fried chicken one would expect from a Korean fried chicken restaurant. Honestly, a fried chicken sandwich from Chick-fil-A or even Jack in the Box would taste better. The only good thing about this place is the friendly cashier person and clean space. Sadly, good service and a clean dining room aren't enough to make up for the disappointing food. Between the poor presentation, underwhelming flavors, and food that looked nothing like the advertisement, this is not a place I'd return to.
Tried Lotteria out of curiosity -- Korean fast food with some unique menu items you don't see every day. I ordered the Bibim Rice Burger with fries, and it was definitely an interesting experience. Instead of a traditional bun, the burger uses pressed rice patties, which was cool but definitely requires a little strategy to eat. It tasted good, but it's not something you can easily hold and bite into like a normal burger. I ended up grabbing a plate and fork, which honestly made it much more enjoyable. Flavor-wise, everything was solid and nicely seasoned, and the fries were good as well. Overall, it was a fun change of pace and something different from standard fast food. Next time, I'll probably try a regular bulgogi burger or the shrimp burger, which seem like they'd be easier to eat on the go. Worth trying if you're into Korean flavors or just want something different. read more

I came here on a Tuesday around 11am for my lunch break and it was not crowded at all. You can order at the kiosks or up at the front with the staff. I ordered at the kiosk and got my order fairly quick. Staff was friendly upon getting my order up at the front. I got the bibim rice burger combo and added the cheese shaken fries. I actually liked how the burger tasted as it was unique and different from your typical burger. The fries were also just the right texture and even better with the cheese flavoring. This burger was honestly so unique and delicious. Instead of regular buns, they use crispy rice buns that are slightly crunchy outside and chewy inside. The kimchi flavor added the perfect spicy, tangy kick, and paired so well with the savory meat and sauce. Every bite was packed with flavor! My son actually said this is better than In n Out burger!! Known for its Bulgogi Burger, Shrimp Burger, Bibim Rice Burger, and more, Lotteria brings a fun Korean fusion twist to classic fast food favorites. It's definitely a different experience from your usual burger spots and such a fun place for foodies to explore! We also ordered the seasoned cheese fries and they were SO good! Kids loved it! Crispy fries coated with flavorful cheesy seasoning that made them super addicting. Definitely one of my favorite sides there! And don't skip the bingsu . The shaved ice was super fluffy and soft, topped with sweet flavors that made it the perfect refreshing dessert after the spicy burger. Another thing I liked was how convenient the location was good. They have a drive-thru, free parking, and it was super easy to find parking, which makes it great for busy families or a quick food stop. From what I heard, Lotteria is a great fast food spot in Korea, so I was interested in this opening and finally tried it. It's located in Fullerton, but I gotta say, I'm pretty disappointed in this launch. Maybe my expectations were too high, but the food was very much on the "It could've been better" side of things. I'd prefer to drop a 2.5 star, but it's not quite a 3 star in my opinion. The service is good, but I want to focus on the food itself here. I tried the bibim rice burger and shake it fries. The burger was genuinely just a good concept. I'm sure it's executed better in Korea, but it wasn't that good in my opinion when I tried it. The shake it fries were good, but I'm pretty biased when it comes to fries and find most places to offer good enough fries. All in all, maybe wait a while until Lotteria is better? I want to love it as a fast food option, but I'd rather just stop by somewhere else with how the quality is currently. My son has been wanting to take me to this Korean Fast Food hamburger place snd the two of us were finally in the area together. I don't know if it was a blessing or a curse because when we arrived, the drive thru line was wrapping around the parking lot and the line to walk up was out the door. But it turned out to be a blessing because in celebration of Mother's Day, their shrimp burger sandwich was a dollar each. Luckily the walk up line was a lot faster than the drive thru. I was impressed with how well controlled they had it. We made it up to the counter and we were allowed to order three of the shrimp burgers for a dollar each and we got the bulgogi burger combo. They said it could take up to an hour for our order to be ready, but it only took a half an hour which was very pleasing. The shrimp burger was my favorite. The crispy shrimp patty with the light tartar sauce. The bulgogi patty was different. I thought it was quite sweet with the bulgogi sauce that they put. The cheesy shaken fries were a nice complement to the sandwiches. As crowded as they were, I was not overwhelmed with the crowds of people and like I said, how the staff took care of all the orders in a true fast food manner and we had no errors to our order. The special might have ruined a return visit for me, because now I contemplate if the shrimp burger is worth the $6.49 price when it's not on special. read more

Visited on a weekday afternoon. The place was clean and not busy. We ordered via kiosk and waited about 10 mins for our order to be ready. I was looking forward to trying out lotteria but service and food were severely disappointing. I came during a lunch rush (12:30 pm) and the staff was disorganized. You can see in the food was piling up, no one to give out orders, drive thru was gridlocked and there were 3 guys making food. Not a sign order went out for 15 mins. There was no one manning the fries station so it took even longer for the person completing orders. I don't really blame the workers....there was clearly no structure. There were some workers jumping around manning all stations but nothing was getting done. And you can guess as a result, the food was MESSY! Sauce all over the place, no crunch to the FRIED chicken sandwich. Looks popular and busy because it is slow. I won't come again. Interest offerings but, maybe, come when you have time to wait bc this is not a fast food joint. read more

I tried the Bulgogi Deluxe Burger and the Bibim Rice Burger, and both were fantastic. The Bibim Rice Burger had rice disks as patties (I know rice disks sounds odd, but there's no other way to describe them, lol), and as I was eating it, it definitely reminded me of eating an actual Bibimbap (Korean mixed rice with assorted veggies and meat). The Bulgogi Deluxe Burger is also fantastic. The Bulgogi seasoning is instantly recognizable and is great. I did not try the fries or the sodas, only two excellent burgers and left full and happy. You order on some tablets and they call you out when the food is ready, so interacting with staff is minimal at best. The whole place is clean and even the bathrooms are spotless, so points for ambiance too. read more

Fries were good but when it came to the flavors kinda disappointed it was powder we needed to put over our fries. Staff is friendly and location indoor seating is okay in size but definitely kept clean. read more

7/10 Bulgogi Burger - It's a pretty thin burger with lots of sauce, lettuce, and onions. I just wish the patty was bigger; it was honestly quite thin. 7/10 Bulgogi & Shrimp Burger - My boyfriend got this one and he enjoyed it. It has pretty much the same ingredients as the bulgogi burger but with a shrimp patty. The patty is essentially blended-up shrimp. 8/10 Cheese Flavored Fries - Yummy, cheesy flavor that we both liked! I personally preferred the cheese flavor over the onion flavor. 8/10 Onion Flavored Fries - Very oniony and it has a tad bit sweetness to it. My boyfriend preferred this one over the cheese one. COVID-19: Social distancing is not enforced at this establishment. Some of the staff wears a mask. All customers are not expected to wear a mask. It's optional now. The staff also wears gloves when handling food. There are some hand sanitizers available for customers to use. This place is available for take outs and has some indoor & outdoor seating available with no limited capacity. They are not sanitizing in between customers. COVID-19 Vaccination Proof: This establishment currently does not require proof of vaccination. While I was grabbing my food from this establishment several days ago, I asked if they had any special offers and they weren't offering any at the moment. They currently don't have happy hour. They also do not allow pets in their establishment UNLESS it's a service animal. Parking: The parking lot for this establishment is pretty big because they share the lot with many other establishments. Spots are decent in size. Food: I ordered an onion flavored shake it fries and chicken. I decided to take three stars off for this place. I took off one star because of the price. Small portions for the price they charge doesn't make sense. Another reason why I decided to remove another star is because I think they forgot to salt the chicken and fries. They were 100% bland before I added the onion seasoning to the shake it fries and chicken. However, even after seasoning the fries and chicken with onion seasoning, they still didn't taste right. Like something was off. Also, I decided to remove another star from this establishment because the fries were hard and tough to eat. Same with the chicken. Too much batter and very small amount of actual chicken. I have been scammed! I'm just eating chicken batter at this point. SMH Staff: The staff here are very friendly, kind, helpful, and welcoming. Always wanted to try this place out when it first opened but the crazy lines drove me away! Safe to say the long lines are now long done. Ordered thru the drive thru, quick and easy. We ordered the following: Bulgogi Burger Shrimp Burger - this was different and good!. Had a combo of sweet and savory taste. K-Sweet & Spicy Chicken Fries - Koreans are known for their chicken and this was good. Onion & Cheese Shake It Fries - was not a fan of both powdered flavors. There was an aftertaste that did not sit well with me but their fries are good by themself. I must say that things are on the sweeter side. I would recommend the Shrimp Burger and Chicken Fries. Everyone's palate is different though! I enjoy the sweet and savory combo. So give them a try if you're around the area. I will definitely be back to try out their rice bowls and bingsu! read more

As a Korean, Lotteria is my favorite fast food in Korea, so I was very excited to try it here. Overall, it was good. But as someone from NorCal, would I come again? Maybe My favorite burgers are the bulgogi and shrimp burgers, so I had to order both. Unfortunately, the bulgogi burger was not as good as the one I had in Korea. The bulgogi sauce was great and tasted just like Korea, but the patty was very disappointing. My partner and I felt it was not fresh and was very dry. If they improve the patty, it would be the perfect bulgogi burger in my opinion. The shrimp burger, however, was very similar to the one in Korea, so I approve. I understand they may not be able to use the exact same ingredients as in Korea, which could slightly change the taste. The exterior is very cute. The interior is simple with a small dining area, but I loved the colorful design. Everything was very clean and ordering was easy. It's good a worth a try. I've been wanting to check out this place all summer but I heard there were super long lines. I visited recently about an hour before their closing time and there was absolutely no wait. Glad we waited. Don't get me wrong. The food is good. And this is definitely a unique taste. It's just not, stand in line for hours good. I had a shrimp burger, which is pretty much a "fish filet" you would get anywhere else. The bulogogi burger on the other hand, is packed full of flavor, almost like a teriyaki burger. You can even get the bulogogi in a rice bowl. Shaker fries and shaker chicken is a unique taste with cheese or onion flavors. Overall, very good and I would try it again. All of our food was hot and fresh. Be prepared to place your order on the self check out kiosk. Not once were we greeted by any staff. The restaurant is clean and there is a drive thru as well. read more

I waited patiently for the hype to die down and I'm glad I did! I finally went with a couple of friends last Sunday and we did not have to wait in line to place an order. All of our food also came out quickly and everything was great. I got the shrimp burger which used to be one of my favorite items at Lotteria, and it tasted pretty similar to the one I had in Korea. Our group ended up getting extra bags of fries to share because they were hot and crispy. Btw, onion seasoning is better than cheese seasoning :D Would definitely come back! read more

I finally made it in to Lotteria. After months of hearing disappointing reviews and feedback about this place, I tried the shrimp burger, rice burger, and their shake fries. On the Shrimp burger, I added onions and toasted buns due to people complaining the bread was soggy. This sandwhich is only good when you eat it right away. If you do take out, it gets soggy and messy. I ate half there and took the other half home. Put it back in air fryer. Shake fries, they put the fries in a bag and you can choose the artificial of seasoning of cheese, or onion, and shake it up in the bag. They taste very artificial. Not a fan of the seasoning. The onion seasoning has a slight sweet aftertaste to it and was not good at all. Bibim rice burger was just OK. The rice could of been more crisper. It didn't hold the burger well and falls apart all over the place like a hot mess. This place has so much potential if they revamped the recipe a little bit. I'm not sure how it tastes in Korea and why is it so.popular. But for me, I rather stick with a good Ole American fast food burger joint. read more

I honestly dislike giving reviews like this but scroll through my pictures and you'll see why it's meh. Starting out, walking in. There's a cashier where you can place your order with or two touchscreens you can use. I was there for the TXT post card promotion. And I placed my order with the cashier, paid and got my receipt. My order was called and I received my order. I realized that they didn't give me my postcards. I went back up there and the girl was like no I gave you everything. I explained that I didn't get my postcards with my meal. We found out that the cashier didn't add my postcards to the meal. The way that was handled was horrible. Fine I received my cards. I needed ketchup, which you have to ask for, rather than them offering it. While I was standing there, four people just looked at me and didn't approach the counter. I stood there for a few minutes awkwardly, and yes, the girl that I talked re:photo cards refused to even look at me. Sigh. The food. I don't understand, the bulgogi burger and that sauce? It was overly sweet. It was just not appealing. The shrimp burger was ok, but was overly sauced with their special sauce. The shake fries - I got both flavors were sweet vs savory. The way the food was packaged and served, was just uh appealing. Things were slapped together and overly sauced. See pix, and that's after trying to make the food more presentable. We headed to Lotteria about a month after opening. The massive lines were gone, so now is the time to start visiting them. They have fries that come in a bag and you get to choose a seasoning to shake on it. Turns out I do not like either of their seasonings. I would rather have it with ketchup only. I did not like the Bulgolgi burger. It was small and too sweet from the sauce. I did love the shrimp burger. Next time I go, I'll grab 2! They also have a drive thru, so eating here is very convenient. read more

I heard the hype about this place and decided to come by for lunch. The kiosk made it super easy to order and see pictures of the food. The place was clean and the interior was nice. What I ordered: Bibim Rice Burger 3/5 The flavors were good but it fell apart while eating. Maybe it just needs to be put together better or seared more on the grill. It is on the pricier side of fast food. Bulgogi & Shrimp Burger 5/5 Really yummy! I liked this one a lot more and would definitely order it again. Lotterria is great for what it is. Ultimately it's not fine dining. It's fast food. Like McDonalds but Korean. If you're expecting fine dining, go somewhere else. We ordered a fried shrimp burger, beef bulgolgi burger, and bulgolgi fries. Everything tasted as fast food would. But the fun of it was that there were Korean kicks to everything. I don't think I'd come back often as I'm not really into fast food. However if I wanted fast food, it's nice to have a Korean-ified option. I wish there were more Lotterrias. I returned here during the week and its gotten much better since their grand opening a few months ago. Missing were the long lines in both the dining room and drive thru. I was fortunate to find out they still had available that day there were still Bibim burgers available. I enjoyed the Bibim rice burger which has a daily offering of only 50 and is limited to one per order. I ordered the meal which included my choice of cheese fries and a fountain beverage. The bibim burger was quite unusual but I enjoyed the burger which uses a chewy rice bun, gochujang Sauce, raw onions, lettuce, beef patty, and topped with a fried egg. I found it a bit messy using my hands and suggest getting some utensils and the friendly employees at the counter. Overall, I'm a fan of Lotteria and looking forward to trying their Japanese menu next month on vacation in Japan. read more

Lotteria: The US Hype Didn't Meet the Bite It's funny that I hadn't even heard of Lotteria while living in Korea, yet the hype for this new US location was absolutely crazy! We decided to share the Bulgogi Burger and a "special" burger that came on rice buns. The verdict? It was just okay--definitely nothing to write home about. Now, after trying the American version, I've heard from several people that the original Korean Lotteria is much, much better. I'm already looking forward to trying the authentic local flavors next year in the motherland! Pro Tip Missed (Oops!) Side note: We were totally confused by the little packets of powder that came with our order! Apparently, they're meant to be shaker seasoning for the fries. Oops! I couldn't find anything special about it. It was a burger with a sweet sauce on it. Not that I was expecting something crazy, but I was hoping it had a more of a "wow" factor. The Onion powder for the Fries wasn't bad! It was more sweet than savory. I've been told this is the Korean version of a McDonald's for fast food and they're not wrong. This place was packed on a Sunday at 10:3o am and the only location. Location: On Orangethorpe and Harbor Blvd and sharing the same lot as other stores in a large shopping center. Parking is shared so beware you might have to walk. This place opened to great fan fare about 3 months ago and it still seems popular with the asian crowd, although I've never heard of them until now. Food: I got the shrimp and bulgogi burger combo (drink and fries) and my companion had the bulgogi burger combo as well (fries and drink). The bulgogi was messy, but good and good size. The beef patty for both had an odd consistency to them. Couldn't quite figure it out. The Bulgogi and shrimp (minus onions) was pretty good and different from what is usually offered. Again, the beef patty had an odd consistency to it and while not bad, just odd. Fries were crisp and salted, so no fail there. Service was fast efficient like a fast food McDonalds. Seating was available indoor and out, but not easy to get with sooo many people around. The drive through was a problem because if you parked on the wrong side of the lot, you could get penned in by those waiting to order in the drive through line. Summary: I'll have to come back at a later date to try other things, but not right now with sooo many people wanting to eat there for food that's really more fast food than anything else. I don't see what all the hype is about as the food isn't all that great. Is it worth going out of your way for? Not really. Just wait for the hoopla to die down, then go. As for the food? Finally! The long lines and huge crowds have calmed down, so we stopped by this Korean burger spot to see what the hype was all about. As first-timers, we ordered the Bibim Rice Burger and the Shrimp Burger, along with fries (with cheese and onion powder) and sodas--and it did not disappoint. The burgers were flavorful. The Bibim Rice Burger, which uses rice for the "bun," was tasty and fun to try, though you definitely need a fork to eat it. The Shrimp Burger was very good as well, though the presentation and portion size could be improved--the burger is a bit small, and it's so good that you'll want seconds. The fries were great; we mixed the cheese and onion powder together and loved the combination of flavors. They also offer unlimited fountain drinks, which is a plus. We were in the drive through, which moved smoothly as there was a live order taker with a mobile unit. They just opened, and workers are new, so they might not have tried all the menu items. (Just a side note when asking for recommendations.) Hot tip: if dining in, avoid parking in the stalls directly along the drive through line. As we let someone reverse out of a stall, the car next to them quickly set their reverse lights on. We were able to let them exit, being the last car to join the drive through line. Otherwise, it may not have been possible for a while. And again, they are new, so they did get our order wrong. Two shrimp burgers and one bulgogi burger, instead of two bulgogi and one shrimp. But, as always, while they are both yummy, my son actually liked the accidental shrimp burger better than the bulgogi burger. (The shrimp patty is moist and flavorful, and the bulgogi is a teriyaki like flavored burger with sauce which brought back childhood HBA Fun Fair memories, per my son.) The fries are nicely crispy, but don't wait to sprinkle and shake your seasoning (onion or cheese) into the bag. Note: the seasoning is on the "sweet" side. Loved the generous lettuce serving and the mayo in the burger. If I'd gotten the deluxe, I might have made a bigger dining mess;)! Went here on a Friday around 11:30 or so with my husband. We decided to go through the drive through. We waited about 45 minutes to get our food. Similar to in n out, they took our order and we paid and then we picked up our order. We got the bibim rice burger, the shrimp burger, and kbbq fries. Paid around $24. We live less than 10 min away and brought it back home. Everything was p soggy lol fries were soggy af. Flavor was decent tho but soggy fries are depressing. The shrimp burger was pretty good! Bibim rice burger was aight. All in all, I don't think I'd come back LOL Def give it a try, but I think this might be a one and done kinda thing for me. I really wanted to love it...was excited because I remember eating at Lotteria as a child. Shrimp burger was tasty....i might come back for that. French fries were crispy and yummy. We also ordered the bibim rice burger. All the flavors were there but it's hard to eat...things fall apart: my son who ate this almost felt like he wanted it in a bowl so he can eat it with a fork. Bingsoo is a big miss for me. It looks like a bingsoo, but it's not. Melted icy cream with canned fruits, red beans, etc. it just missed the mark all together and nothing like the original back from my childhood...left me expecting more from it. If interested...try it once if in town and formulate your own opinion, however don't purposely go to eat here. read more

THANK GOODNESS I didn't wait in the 2 hour line when this place first opened! Now that the hype has died, there isn't much of a wait so the time from ordering to getting the food was very quick. Tried the shrimp burger combo. Unfortunately, it didn't quite meet my expectations. There were some shrimp bits in the burger but it wasn't very crispy and didn't feel freshly fried. The burger was also a little soggy from how much sauce there was on the patties. Eating it made me really crave the Bopomofo walnut shrimp burger since that one does it soooo much better (although not exactly fast food). I was also really interested in trying the fries with the onion powder. It was a decently sized portion. Sadly, the powder is just WAY TOO SWEET! This made it kind of hard to eat and I didn't finish. If I had to choose again, I would definitely go for the cheese powder instead. My friend got the bulgogi burger with the rice patties. It seemed like that one was slightly tastier with the meat and flavoring. Now that I've tried Lotteria once, I probably won't come back. I think there are better options out there that I would rather spend my money on, but it was worth a try. read more

Came in on a Tuesday REALLY early, and it already had people inside grubbing. Inside was clean and pretty well taken care of. It sort of reminds me of a Jollibee inside. Although I wish I tried the ramen burger, we had to start with the basic #1 item, the Bulgogi burger combo. Let's start with the burger. Very tasty. I'm a little sad with the construction of it, but the flavor was good. Seems excessively plain with just lettuce, it could use 1-2 more condiments to top it off. I definitely have to try their shrimp burger as well as both on the ramen bun, because the plain bun reminds me too much for Carl's Jr both in flavor and in the size of the patty being much smaller than the bun. The fries though, are pretty flawless. Crispy. Fluffy, Hot. Plus the flavor packets. I got onion this time, and it was good. IT DOES transform it into a whole different type of fry side, so if you prefer regular fries, I'd suggest leaving it off. The regular fries are already pretty amazing. Slightly disappointed in their deal with Pepsi over Coca Cola products. I'm not sure if its the same in Korea, but just not a fan of any of the Pepsi products offered here. However the Brisk Ice Tea has a good syrup ratio, compared to other places I've been. Value is just on-par with all the other fast food joints. $13 for a regular sized combo. Climb higher as you specialize. Overall I'd be back, and I'd probably make the trip from South OC... just not when its during peak times... I'm not waiting in ANY of the lines, drive-thru or not. Tip: Parking lot is pretty janky, shout out to Lotteria or the Landlord who put the metal plate on the dip for low cars. read more

The Original K-Burger Literally decades since I've tried Lotteria (of course had it in the motherland). Forgot how tasty these burgers are. Always went for their classic bulgogi burger (still very flavorful) but tried a few new ones. The Bibimbop burger is something new as I don't remember them having it when I was in Korea last, and OMG this was phenomenal. My new favorite burger EVER!!!!!!!! Also, of course I couldn't leave without tasting the shrimp burger. As I remembered it, the shrimp burger was fantastic. What was unique about this burger was it also had small shrimp bites that you can see and taste. Soooooo delicious. And third, we ordered the bulgogi burger (but the DELUXE). This one uses the bulgogi patty but also includes several bulgogi meats in it. You have to order the deluxe version if you're going for the bulgogi burger. Everything was so spectacular. Oh yes, I also ordered the bingsoo. Love bingsoo so needed to try it. To be honest this one was just mediocre. Overall I had a phenomenal time. Love this place. Bulgogi Deluxe Burger: 2/5 This was not good y'all. I'm not really into bulgogi and this was the worst kind. It was dry, too sweet, and has that weird aftertaste you get from old bulgogi (I really can't explain this one). The patty was even worse, with a similar sweet marinade but was even harder, colder, and tough. A definite pass. Bibim Rice Burger: 2.5 The patty was exactly the same as the bulgogi burger so major dings there. The rice was actually very tasty. It tasted like straight gochujang in a good way. If you ever had a frozen Korean rice ball, the texture is very similar. I wish they either firmed up the rice, put it in a special sleeve, or grilled it so you could pick the burger up. Shrimp Burger: 4/5 I liked this one a lot! Many breaded shrimp products tend to be mushy but this one was firm through and through. The texture and vibes really reminded me of a McChicken. While it wasn't uber flavorful, I thought it was very tasty and well made. Fresh, crispy, and delicious! Shake It Chicken: 4.5/5 These were awesome and much more appetizing in person than the pictures. I was gonna skip because I thought they were just nuggets but they're basically karaage without the normal marinade. The batter is crisp and holds the shaking seasoning well. The onion seasoning I got was good as well! A sweet onion flavor, like the Maui chips. The cheese flavor is very "feet" oriented so don't say I didn't want you. Ambiance: Casual. Think of a clean and nice McDonalds in the best possible way! Service: Staff was kind.
