Decent food. RUDE customer service. Our office will NO LONGER order from them. Ordered a Sesame Chicken lunch special today minus soup, with an additional egg roll. Other coworkers ordered as well. Delivery guy brings the wrong order. He calls his manager to make the swap. The driver then comes back with my Sesame chicken, but not the eggroll that I paid extra for, no condiments for the dry-ass rice or the chicken wing that is supposed to come with the lunch special. Call the location and the manager rudely refuses to send the driver back with the missing contents of my order. This place is right near our house so we decided to give it a try. The dinner meals I feel were reasonably priced for all that they come with. Ex. $24.99 for two. We ordered the dinner for two which came with Mongolian beef, sweet sour chicken, white rice, two egg rolls and egg drop soup. So much food came we were extremely pleased. It was all delicious, except I'm not a huge fan of the Mongolian beef, however my husband loved it. The food came quickly and you can order online as well for delivery or pickup which is super convenient. All in all the service was decent, food was delicious and prices where reasonable. If I could give zero starts I would!!!!!! Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced!!!! I ordered a small wonton soup, small white rice and a SIDE OF SHRIMP! which they charged me $18.88 for! When I asked how much was the side of shrimp the horrible cashier said with an attitude "we dont sell a side of shrimp" I asked "so what did you charge me for?" She said she charged me for a shrimp entree. And I ask what is that. So she proceeded to point to the entire shrimp entire menu and never said what entree she charged me for and was giving me. So basically she just wanted me to take whatever she charged me for without even knowing what im getting. I kept asking what is it that she is giving me if I ordered a side of Shrimp but they don't sell a side of shrimp But she charged me for a random shrimp entree and still refused to explain what I was paying $18 for. So eventually I said well since i don't understand what you are trying to give me I just don't want the shrimp, and by this time she has a supper attitude she literally took my soda from me, voided my entire order and started taking to the next person behind me as though I wasn't even there!!! I was so appalled because she basically said if I wasn't going to take what she was giving me I wasn't going to get anything. This is one of our favorite Chinese takeout places. The food is quite good and the service is prompt and courteous. We usually order online or call the order in and pick up ourselves as the restaurant is within a few miles of home. Our order is usually ready when I arrive, or the wait time is short. Last night we ordered wonton soup, deep-fried potstickers, General Tsu's chicken, and Sunkist beef. All were quite good. Lotus is my go-to in Sandy Springs for great Chinese. I've eaten from here dine-in, take out, or delivery more than 10 times. The people are decently friendly, but for what they lack in soft skills they make up for in delicious food. I'm a huge fan of almost all of their shrimp based dishes. They've got great spring rolls and make a decent crab rangoon. We ordered from there during a recent tattoo party and managed to try about 12 entrees. I was very hesitant to order from here as the Chinese spots around my house typically suck but I was thoroughly impressed. The hot and sour soup was perfect and piping hot! I must say that this place is pretty good. I was impressed with the lemon pepper shrimp and the shrimp lomein was better than most carry out establishments. My nephew had spicy shrimp fried rice and he said it was okay. I was not impressed and would not recommend egg foo young, it was a bit sweet and eggy. They also served the gravy on the side which was a bit unusual for me. Their egg foo young is nothing like Chinatown. Overall, I would recommend Lotus. I've dined in a few times for dinner so far and I really like the fast service and freshness of the food. I like their combo that comes with a small shrimp fried rice and 10 fried chicken wings. The fried rice is not super oily and has a light taste which I really enjoy. The wings came out so fresh that I burned the roof of my mouth because I was so excited to eat them. I also tried thier spicy noodle soup which has chicken and shrimp with some veggies as well, I asked for mild spiciness and they happily complied. The broth was great too, I also had their shrimp and broccoli and the broccoli was semi hard which made me happy because I can't stand soft and soggy broccoli. The basil shrimp is another great option for those wanting a little bit more kick to their meals. Overall I'm pretty sure I'll be a regular here. read more

This is a small place in Dunwoody Plaza that specializes in take out, although they do have a number of booths and tables. They are super cheat. Almost all lunch specials are $5.55 and come with soup and a spring roll. I had the wonton soup which was good, but only had 1 wonton in it. But my food came out quickly and was much better than the place I had tried earlier in the week. Also they have those delicious fried crackers which I love.
