Came here on a Saturday night with a large group. The wait was about 45 minutes. We sat outside and the weather and vibes were perfect! We ordered the "hot boy summer" and "emerald city" pizzas and both were amazing. The Caesar salad was one of the best I've ever had in town. We also got the buffalo wings which were DELICIOUS but spicier than we expected. Our server was amazing! He gave great recommendations and was very attentive. Finally made it to Loudmouth with a friend to give them a spin. We grabbed a couple of beers while we waited for our Hot Boy Summer pizza. I was eyeing the Italian sandwich and mentioned it to my friend... next thing you know, we've ordered that as well. The sandwich came first and it was great. We said we'd finish the sandwich since it was so good and then take 1 slice of pizza each and take the rest to go. Well, the pizza came as we were finishing the sandwich and I put down my last bite to try the pizza fresh. It was amazing and I couldn't score between another slice and the last bite of sandwich. I must've blacked out, cuz when I came to I saw an empty pizza tray and that last bite of sandwich gone. I'd say I feel guilty but my friend did the exact same thing. No doggie bag! The price is a bit higher than what I wanted to pay but I definitely enjoyed it so whatever. I'll be back here to splurge. read more

Wow!! If I could do 6 stars I would. I went to loudmouth with my boyfriend and my mom and sat in the most perfect corner booth and had exceptional service. Sammie and Harris were our servers and Sammie was in training and was so attentive and Harris was so educational on the menu and to the new server in such a respectful way. Cannot say enough amazing things amount this place !! You will definitely will not regret coming here. Eclectic, friendly, welcoming, organic and delicious curated food. I've been meaning to check out Loudmouth for a few months now and finally found the chance to! My partner and I met another couple there for happy hour and dinner. Happy hour ends at 6pm and we arrived at 5:45, giving us just enough time to order a round of drinks and appetizers. We got the wings and meatballs with focaccia, as well as 2 beers and 2 glasses of white wine for the four of us. Then, we ordered the pesto pizza (with chicken added) and the Joe's pizza. Both were so delicious! The aesthetic inside the place was really nice, too. Loved the mix of tables and booths, as well as the funky wall decor. We will definitely be back! read more

The atmosphere and food were great. The service was AMAZING. I don't know if I ever hugged my server at the end of my meal before. It was that great. Our Airbnb was just up the block so Loudmouth was a no brainer. The large outdoor patio has a little enclosed play yard filled with giant legos, the most adorable little wooden pigs to sit on and a wall that was mostly a chalkboard. We had 2 three year olds with us which made Loudmouth a NO BRAINER. Our table was next to the play area which was absolutely perfect for watching the little ones. The outside area is fenced but not completely closed in due to openings at the entrances from the street and driveway. We were seated, served pitchers of ice water and given a few minutes to look over the drink list. They offer craft beers, some wine by the glass or bottle and several cocktails including two frozen drinks. None of the lists were exceptionally long but the choices were solid. I had a frozen concoction called the Painkiller (Limit 2). It was very good but a two drink limit, I think, was more hype than anything. We ordered meatballs and focaccia for an app. A bowl of three medium size house made meatballs resting in a bowl full of sauce and then covered in melted gooey cheese. It came with two slices of airy toasted focaccia. It was delicious. We ordered two for our group of 6 adults and it was just enough. We all ordered pizza for dinner. My husband and I shared the Lone Star - BBQ base, chicken, a few cilantro leaves and a TON of thinly sliced onion that were near raw. While I love cooked onions, raw almost kill me. The onions were so underdone that my husband took them off the pizza (and our daughter ate them - she hasn't entered into her Pepcid years yet). My daughter and SIL shared the Hot Boy Summer which they really enjoyed. (I didn't know I birthed an 8 and 1/2 pound stomach of steel). My son and DIL shared the Emerald City. They really enjoyed it. I tasted it and it was much more flavorful than the Lone Star - I would definitely order the Emerald City next time. We didn't have room for dessert but I guess my tiara gave away the fact that it was my birthday. They sent me back with a huge fresh baked chocolate chip cookie which we shared later. It was excellent. And back around to the service, I really didn't hug a server for such great service (though it WAS great service). No, she and I talked while the kids played after the meal. We truly were kindred spirits, we shared a common trajectory through life and we were best girlfriends, if only for that 20 minutes while the kids played. read more

I came here for a girls night and boy was I pleasantly surprised. This adorable spot on the east side is a must add to your lists of places to try. Some of the best pizza I've ever had and quite possibly the best Brussels sprouts I've ever had. Homemade ranch was also amazing. Our server was awesome, we let her pick our pizzas. The foccacia was unreal accompanied with the honey butter garlic which we dipped our pizza crust in at the suggestion of our server Monroe and they did not lead us astray! Started with the burrata, which was super fresh and on a delicious bed of greens and fennel with a delicious pistachio cream. Next enjoyed the Caesar salad, which is a nice blend of romaine and kale Plus fried onions, and crunchy croutons for texture. Stopped in on a whim for the first time yesterday while catching up with a friend. Immediately charmed by the sunny patio and stellar service. Kat our server was phenomenal, she made us feel so welcomed and seen. Walked us through the menu, and gave great recommendations on apps and drinks. This place is gorgeous and very homey inside. The outside has a ton of tables and is perfect for a pretty day. They have a small parking lot behind the building and lots of street parking around. For apps, we really enjoyed the sweet pepper arancini and cauliflower caponata. The Caesar salad was so freaking good and I would come back just for it! It had kale in it and I don't usually enjoy kale, but with the miso and the crispy onions it was a great salad. We ordered the hot boy summer pizza. The toppings all went together so well and the crust was amazing! The under crust did start to get a little soggy from I think the hot honey but it was so good we didn't care. Loved this new spot on e 11th! It took over the former Rosewood spot so it's a beautiful old house and lawn. There is a parking lot but it is smaller so I can see it getting full on a busy night. The patio space is really lovely, can't wait to sit out there next time I visit. Made it out with the Girls for a Sunday brunch day! And grabbed a couple pizzas to share amongst friends! The atmosphere inside is super inviting as it's inside a house with a lot of old time pictures, I'm assuming of the owners (one would hope right?). I'm pretty sure this place used to be a pasta place back in the day but can't remember...anyways we ordered a Chopped salad, hot boy summer, Emerald City, and Joe's Pie. Out of the three pizzas I think my personal favorite was the Joe's pie but that's because I personally love oyster mushrooms and fennel sausage. I didn't realize the Emerald City had kale on it which is good unless you take it home as a leftover, so probably not good as a takeout option. We had a slight mishap with Hotboy summer in transferring it to the next tray still tasted great but I personally really love All Days pizza. The thin slices on each piece and the crispy crust really does it for me so I'll be back for sure! read more

A girlfriend and I came to Loudmouth for pizza and wine. We also had the hamachi crudo. The hamachi was delicate and wonderfully seasoned. I loved the pizza but felt it was a little salty and maybe oversauced. Very crisp and tasty crust though, and I loved the lemony greens we got for toppings. My fave pizza in Austin comes from Days, in the Thicket, or from Home Slice. Loudmouth is very good, and in a super charming East Side home with a patio. And there's a full bar. The wine and service was great, I loved hanging out at Loudmouth. I'll try it again because I love pizza, but it's not my number one spot at this point. read more

Ended up here for brunch opening weekend when the wait at a nearby restaurant was over an hour. Glad we went to Loudmouth though because it was so good! First off, I've always loved the space. It's historic. They've preserved the history. It's classy and cozy. Didn't feel like pizza so we ordered the chopped salad and the Italian Sammie instead and both were plenty to split between the two of us. I also loved the Agua Fresca. Wanted to try something after my son's baseball practice that could cater to kids, a large-ish group (4 adults, 2 kids), with good food and 'most importantly' no wait during the lunch rush on a Sunday. We were here on a Thursday night, so there was live music and deals on drinks and certain appetizers. Although we didn't partake in the specials, we each ordered our own pizza. All the pizzas came out at different times - my husband's was burnt, my son's and mine were both good not great. I guess I expected more. From the confusing host stand with no lighting and off to the left as you come up to the entrance to the lack of lighting outside to the average taste of the food, I was not thoroughly impressed. The perfect place for a girls night or weekday date night! I'll be back for that Caesar salad, it was probably the best I've ever had. If I could I would rate Loudmouth at a 3.5...and it was for two things. The tiramisu and the wings. We sat outside which I loved the entire area is shaded to battle the hot Texas heat with misters and plenty of fans. It's a great spot to meet people up and don't worry they have fans for when the food comes out to keep any winged visitors away. We ordered the pizza with mushrooms and sauce on the side luckily. The sauce was and odd spice to the pizza and just not our cup or tea. The wings though were delicious and Buffalo flavored in the right way. They fried the wing in a batter that was more soft textured with crunch but not that commercial type. Almost like a firmer tempura style. The sauce was so good especially tied in with the ranch! Now the star was the tiramisu. It was the best blend of cream, lady fingers and powered chocolate with all the right ratios. The pizza disappointed but was just solid. I remember when this historic home was threatened and in danger of being lost. But thanks to the new owners, the house has been restored. You can eat indoors or out in the spacious patio, which I notice has a safe children's play area. The patio tables have shades and the vantage point and view of downtown and East Austin is delightful. So, this is both a historic site and a gourmet pizza restaurant. And the pizza was delicious. We visited Loudmouth for the first time yesterday for an early dinner/happy hour. We showed up just as they opened and were seated inside the charming dining room. The staff was kind and welcoming. We asked for recs and our waiter told us the Michelangelo was his fave. I probably would not have chosen that one but I tried it and LOVED it!! It was so unique. It was a good choice for a hot day - seemed a little lighter (in a good way) than the pepperoni I had been considering. Another server asked if we wanted ranch. Wow! The perfect compliment to our tasty pizza! The ranch was made with fresh dill and you could tell it was house made. Delish!! The meatballs and focaccia were also yummy. Loved the tomato sauce and fennel flavor that came through. We also tried the Caesar salad and it may be my fave Caesar I've tried. I enjoyed the umami flavor - and cheese croutons for crunch. This place is a gem! I came here to celebrate a bday dinner. There is some parking available, although the spots can be a little narrow. We decided to sit outside on the patio because the weather was lovely. The grounds were great. I went with my family so it was a pleasant surprise to see that there was a play area included for little ones. My toddler enjoyed playing there while we waited for our food. Our server was great at walking us through the menu as it was our first time there. For a drink, I got the Campfire which was smokey and delicious in time for fall. We also got the meatballs and the Caesar salad. Both were very tasty. We also got the Hot Boy Summer pizza and I liked it a lot as well. Visited with a friend for lunch and it was so good! We sat out on the patio and there is a lot of seating with shade that's perfect for the warmer weather coming! The service was nice and fast.
