A cozy cafe that has an extensive menu of food, beverages and dessert items. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have seats to dine both indoors and outdoors.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Staff were overall quite friendly. Parking can be tricky as it is street-parking only. 1. Caffe Quadra (4.5/5) If you are dead tired or have a red eye, this is the drink for you. Extra strong coffee latte prepared with many (4) shots of espresso. It is dark roast, so has that nutty tone to it. It is slightly on the bitter side, but I like that it was not too acidic or sweet. 2. Rising Sun Matcha Latte (5/5) This is one of the best matcha drinks I've had outside my own home. You can taste the earthy matcha tones, along with nuttiness from the dark roast coffee, and slight sweetness from the dark chocolate. I got it with pistachio milk, which added a bit more nutty flavor. Overall, each flavor came through on its while complimenting one another in a balanced way. 3. Pistachio Latte (3.5/5) A very thick and creamy latte, which I assume is due to the use of pistachio butter and pistachio milk. The pistachio flavor is mild. What stood out is the strong espresso. They supposedly sprinkle Wazuka matcha, but because I got it to-go I couldn't tell as they do not do latte arts for to-go order. Towards the bottom of the cup, I did get clumps of something (probably butter?), which was a turn-off. The espresso has a deep earthy note to it and was on the acidic side. It definitely works well to help you wake up and feel energized but it wrecked havoc on my GI tract for hours afterwards.

I haven't been to Urth Caffe in years as somebody who's grown up in LA and has frequented the different locations (Pasadena, Beverly Hills, Downtown) and even in Orange County. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This specific location is amazing, right in the heart of Melrose Place and has a corner street view which makes perfect for outdoor seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I came yesterday with a family member for lunch: I had the Avacado Toast and an Almond Croissant, which were both very filling and tasty. The green juice was a nice addition. The service was excellent, the cashiers were super friendly and quick along with the waiting staff being attentive and sweet. It's perfect to bring a friend from out of town or just have a solo lunch for the classic WeHo experience!

Small quant coffee shop with strong coffee, great food and pastries... [[HIGHLIGHT]]Nice patio and located in the heart of Melrose[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]...

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Pretty good coffee, and nice spot to sit around and watch life on Melrose.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Gets really packed sometimes and you will also need to circle for metered parking.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They have excellent pastries if you enjoy "not too sweet" style. Try the matcha tiramusu if you can.

    Prosciutto & Cheese Breakfast Panini

Came here on a Sunday afternoon and there was a long line. I waited about 10 minutes and I ordered the egg and prosciutto panini and it tasted horrible. It was so oily and salty and the prosciutto didn't seem fresh at all. I couldnt even bite jnto the prosciutto in some areas. Such a disappointing purchase. I also ordered the pistachio chocolate croissant and that was pretty oily but also delicious with pistachio filling. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We sat outdoors which was nice but the chairs were so hard.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It is also very crowded so it's easy to bump into people[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Here is a alive bug in my salad

There is really no words to say how disappointed i am and how dangerous this kitchen might be. If you get sick it wont surprise me. I had a salad and after eating half of it i found alive bug. Showed my plate to the crew they said oh its because we used packed green salad and they dont wash it again. I believe health is over any concern when you come to a restaurant i will never come close with this place and will let the health department to be aware of this as well as everyone i know. Shame on you.

Visited this Urth Caffe in Melrose. Indoor and outdoor seating were both packed when we came, but we noticed they have more seating outdoors than indoors. We sat indoors. It was summer when we visited this place and a bit Hot inside, they only have a Ceiling Fan inside. My wife ordered for me and my son and she got us the CARROT CAKE, BERRIES CAKE, TIRAMISU, MATCHA LATTE . The berry cake is a little too sweet for me. Tiramisu was a good super super-moist inside. Carrot cake was dense but incredibly moist, I like this one. The matcha latte was also okay. Parking we didn't explore more if they have a Paid Parking structure nearby because we got a parking just in front of their place. Where you order your food and pay , the Staff has no smiles from their faces or positive Vibes , maybe they were too tired the day we visited and they are in the bad mood for a good customer service , but the ones who deliver the food are all friendly. For this we prefer going to their Beverly Hills location .

My boyfriend is a HUGE fan of Entourage and @entouragemovie so he was excited to bring me here where this specific location was featured in the TV series and the movie, often appearing in the opening credits and in scenes throughout the show. It does get pretty busy and you place your order at the front where you'll get a number afterwards and they'll bring your food to you. There's indoor and outdoor seating. I don't know if it was just the hot weather but the day we went there were constant flies around us and near our food so we were not a fan of that environment. Food was delicious and the service was fine. I would just recommend sitting inside.

We always go to this location when we are in the area. We had a very good experience today as it wasn't that busy when we arrived around 830pm. I even got complementef by one of the customers coz of my shirt. During this visit, we ordered the lasagna to share and the lox plate. Of course we had to order the matcha boba which always hits. Urth doesn't really disappoint so check out any of their locations!

An LA staple that you can always count on. They have just about everything, but are known for their paninis. I personally like their açaí bowls, and iced matcha options. Service was fast and efficient. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant has a big open patio, along with indoor seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] You can always expect to wait in line, but it goes by rather quickly.

    Signature Espresso Drinks (Sep 2025)

Urth Caffe is one of more well-known cafes in West LA and they have multiple locations all in very touristy areas. This European-style is known for brunch options (e.g. Panini Chicken El Diablo or Grilled Cilantro Chicken with Pesto Sandwich) as well as signature espresso drinks (Spanish Latte, Italian Cappuccino, Japanese Blessing Latte or Japanese Tea Latte). [Parking]: In hurry? Customers can pay $15 for valet parking. I had time and I found a metered street parking spot few blocks away near Pacific Design Center ($2 per hour and 2-hour max). [Atmosphere]: This is very popular 1st date spot - indoor tables? Check. Outdoor patio tables? Check. Nice neighborhood to walk around afterward? Check. [Conclusion]: Great vibe and decent drinks, but their drinks aren't exactly affordable ($7.50 for a small Japanese Tea Latte & the overhead menu did not show price for each drink) and parking is really a nightmare as there are other popular shops in this part of the neighborhood. Personally I would prefer other Urth Caffe locations for slightly easier parking.

    Chocolate pistachio French toast
    Akriti M.

Was waiting all week to visit here. Went on Saturday 9am with plenty of parking and were easily seated outdoors. We took the huevos rancheros in spinach tortillas and they were delicious. Avacado and scrambled eggs inside were so good!! Chocolate pistachio French toast was heavenly. I'm usually very mindful of macros and calories but I just couldn't resist this one. $25 is definitely expensive BUT generous crunchy pistachios, tons of fruits, super soft bread and mouth watering matcha and chocolate cream made me ignore the $$. Definitely coming over and over again and would love to try many things in the menu that sound very interesting. Oh the LA Weather and outdoor brunch just kickstarted the weekend on such a high note

I ordered a loaded carne asada-style dish served over fresh greens, and every bite was intentional and well-balanced. The beef was deeply seasoned, tender, and slightly crisped in places, which added great texture. It was topped with a creamy, slightly tangy sauce that tied everything together without overpowering the meat. What really stood out was the attention to detail: pickled red onions for acidity, fresh greens for balance, and a side of house-made pickled vegetables that cut through the richness perfectly. The tostada-style side topped with avocado, herbs, and onions added a nice contrast--crunchy, fresh, and vibrant. You can tell the ingredients are fresh and thoughtfully prepared. Portion size was generous without feeling excessive, and the dish felt hearty yet clean. I paired it with a refreshing citrus drink that complemented the meal well and kept everything light. Overall, this is the kind of place where you can tell the kitchen cares about execution. Bold flavors, great balance, and a presentation that looks just as good as it tastes. I would absolutely come back and recommend it to anyone looking for a satisfying, well-crafted meal

She handed us menus and told us to order at the counter when we were ready and they serve breakfast all day. The menu can feel a little intimidating. It has Mexican, Guatemalan and Salvadoran which I am not all that familiar with. We landed on a couple of pupusas and a couple of fish tacos. There are signs letting you know the food is cooked to order and to expect a 20-25 minute wait, so at least they set expectations up front. The dining room was small but warm and colorful and there were additional tables set up just outside the front door. We had no problem finding a table inside. When the food came out, the portions were generous and the presentation was better than you'd expect from a humble neighborhood grill. The pupusas were crisp on the outside with plenty of filling, and the fish tacos were fresh and well-seasoned -- nothing greasy, nothing bland. Friendly service, solid food, and a spot I'd definitely come back to now that I know what to order.

The food was just as memorable. The chicken Parmesan was everything you want it to be: crispy, flavorful, and topped with a rich, perfectly balanced marinara and plenty of melted cheese. The Rigatoni Vodka (we added a meatball) was equally impressive. The vodka sauce was creamy without being overly heavy, and the meatball was tender, well seasoned, and packed with flavor. One thing to know before you go: parking can be a nightmare. There is valet in front, or you can opt for parking in the surrounding neighborhood. You're better off grabbing a rideshare if you can. It makes the experience much easier, especially if you plan on enjoying a few drinks. Between the beautiful ambiance, generous portions, and delicious food, this is an easy recommendation. As we walked in, nothing caught our attention more than the brilliant lively atmosphere. As we took our seats we awaited what would surely be a culinary journey. We ordered the margarita pizza, the calamari, the meatballs, garlic bread, and the pasta pomodoro. Fortunately and unfortunately, our first dish of the night happened to be the garlic bread. The bread locked. It's garlic butter flavor, or that of flavor at all. if it was all we had ordered, Met Him At A Bar would surely be given one star, but thankfully they had more to offer. The meatballs for one held our attention much longer than that of the garlic bread. The flavoring in the meatballs themselves brought us straight back to our childhood straight back to our roots, as the creamy marinara sauce brought the dish to life. A simple yet elegant dish truly. For us, the calamari was simply there. It's maintained everything you want in a calamari yet added nothing new. It stood out to us not in a world of flavor, texture, and culinary experiences. The Margarita Pizza, however it was quite small. What it lacked in size was made up for in flavor. The melted mozzarella mixed with pizza sauce on the pizza to create a pool of flavor, lingering in the middle of the pizza until one slice is picked up and eaten. Lastly, the pasta Pomodoro. The sauce was thin, the pasta was overcooked instead of al dente. In the singular basil leaf stood atop the pasta, not for flavor, but to save the appearance of a disgraceful pomodoro. It's safe to say, Met Him At A bar may or may not be "Meating" us again... Most Sincerely, yours truly: Henry Pollock & Hayden Kalebic

Has limited seating inside and out so get there early if you can! I love the decor with the butterflies on the wall and they are playing chill jams. They have a cute chalkboard off the menu and a cool photo wall is celebrities who have visited. My fiancé and I tried the Huevos Rancheros plate, Peaches and Cream Waffle, and the Thai Style Fried Chicken plate. Along with their two drinks; Sunset Refresher & Blueberry Vanilla Cold Foam Matcha. Huevos Rancheros were a hit. To be honest I thought the dish to be a small serving at first. But it's actually a good portion. You get three tostadas stacked and layered with black beans and mozzarella and topped off with over easy eggs and salsa. I loved how the corn tortillas maintained their crunch and never got soggy. The habanero salsa that it came had a good KICK. Peaches and Cream waffle was good as well. It is seasonal so we jumped on the opportunity. Waffle was thick and fluffy that came with powdered sugar and cinnamon. The peaches were also thick and the sauce it came was light and sweet. Can never go wrong with ice cream and waffles. The Thai Style chicken was pleasant surprise. Before we ate the chicken, I tried a piece of the breading and I knew it was gonna be a good one. Lots of flavor from the tom yum seasoning and the chicken was a decent size. It's not spicy and comes with a sweet sauce to dip in. The bell peppers balanced out this dish. I was a fan of the sunset refresher. It's a mix of hibiscus, pineapple and lemonade. It's more tart than sweet but refreshing. The blueberry cold foam iced matcha was solid. Not too sweet and properly balance. Overall a good brunch spot with a large menu guaranteed to have you come back to try other things. A little pricey.
