The twenty minute wait was well worth it! Our Stumptown omelet couldn't have been more delicious, with crispy bacon, Swiss cheese, and avocado. Everyone really enjoyed the thick lemon filled French toast topped with raspberry topping--yum!! For me, the gluten free French toast was absolutely amazing. What a treat! The service was good and our food was hot and fresh. The whole family was happy! Possibly the best salad and blackened Salmon that I've eaten. The salad is called "Mary Lou's Salad," and contained spinach, red leaf, romaine and arugula greens, plus thin-sliced Granny Smith apple (about 1/4 of an apple, in 1/8 inch-thick slices), along with about a dozen pecans, shredded multi-colored carrots, half-a-dozen red grapes that "popped" when I bit into them. There were chunks of blue cheese along with a salad dressing, served in a separate bowl, of olive oil and lemon which was delicious! I added the blackened salmon which was about four ounces and perfectly prepared. My wife enjoyed a veggie omelet and a side salad that included the same greens and a creamy blue cheese dressing. I drank a 20 ounce iced Americano and my wife had iced tea. Our bill was only $31. Best lunch in many years. read more

On a recent trip to Whitefish Mountain, it was suggested that we give Loula's a try on our last morning in town. To be honest, I thought it'd be just another breakfast dive, but was oh so wrong. GREAT place for breakfast, but from the looks of the menu they've got a lot of options! Lots of varied dishes (give the burrito a try), with some amazing desserts. Great place, cool and comfortable atmosphere, great photos all over the walls. Food was great. We had a western omelet, overflowing with ingredients, very good. Also had the days special which was a scramble with roasted red peppers, ham, mushroom and cheese. Sooooo good. Only thing I found lacking was the side breakfast potatoes, not much flavour. We went here based on the reviews, and we were not let down. The lemon french toast was awesome, pretty much a dessert! The Stumptown omelette was also delicious. The first time we visited Loula's was for dessert. WOW! Their pies are incredible. I grew up with my mom making lots of homemade pies. Loula's was as close as I've ever seen to a restaurant pie getting to the same level as my moms. I had the huckleberry mixed berry and my boyfriend had peanut butter pie. The huckleberry was a la mode which was the perfect combo. And BF probably could have ate a couple slices of peanut butter. The second visit here was for breakfast. I am a huge fan of breakfast and Loula's was one of the best. I had scrambled eggs, whole wheat toast, bacon and their house potatoes. Sounds pretty boring but the everything was top notch! I always ask for extra crispy bacon and Loula's did it with out burning it to a crisp. It was perfect and not overly salty. The house potatoes were my favorite, lots of flavors with herbs, salt and pepper. Coffee here is great too. We ended up purchasing an entire huckleberry pie to back home to Seattle with us! read more

Good food done well. This is a very popular breakfast and lunch place in town. The food was good. Everyone in our party enjoyed their meals. They also have a variety of delicious homemade pies that I really wanted to sample but my wife threatened me with severe bodily harm. Regretfully, I passed. The service was friendly and fairly quick despite the packed restaurant. Overall, good for at a reasonable price. I hope you get to try the pie. read more

They say that breakfast is served until 2:00, but pancakes end at 11:00am so beware. The food is fine-not bad but not amazing. There are two entrances and two hostess stands. It is confusing for guests and staff alike. There is only one large party table so if you are 6 people they will squeeze you into a four top. Service is average. Everything about this place is average. They are forgetting that this is a tourist town and they have one chance to get it right. The specials are notably the best, so don't miss them scribbled, sometimes incoherently, on the board. I live in flathead valley. Couldn't remember why we never came back after eating breakfast here 2 years ago, until I went to order pancakes. They cut off pancakes at 11 a.m. we got here around 10:30 a.m. & were seated at 11:05 a.m. waitress didn't show up for 10 more minutes & wouldn't let me order pancakes. I then remembered that same thing happened which is why we never came back. I had my daughter & son-in-law with me & we needed to get breakfast. I refused to order anything on principal. Will never come back but the are so busy they will not miss my business. I will stick to Cislos in evergreen for a great breakfast or the Bufalo cage around the corner in Whitefish, but Loulas will never see another cent of my money after I pay for daughter & her husband's breakfast read more
