I went to this joint after a hike at the pismo preserve, i was very satisfied and the service was great i don't know if it was the owner or a manager who was also there but he added a sort of old school tough love talk with regulars and the workers it was refreshing to see that environment is still alive. The burger was just right with ingredient ratios and the tots were supper crisp id say crunchy and salty to perfection and the limited time hibiscus lemonade was refreshing and natural. I cant remember how much i paid but the food was delicious and i would definitely be going bk again.

Wow, the burgers were amazing. I had the Oklahoma Smashburger. It was so good, piping hot, messy, awesome solid burger. also had the loaded tallow fries. Those were freaking amazing. Wife had the smash burger with bacon and egg, she said it was great. The line went fast and food was out quick! The staff were nice people. It's a small place with a few tables, I suggest taking it to go and finding a table down the street. Don't forget to grab a tasty lemonaid! Anyway, We love this place. We will be back for sure.

Simple menu, keeps things quick and easy!

Great new quick eats spot in Downtown Pismo! The single smashburger was the perfect size for a light lunch, and I can't wait to come back hungry for a double and to share some fries. The burger patty was smashed thin and tasted fresh, and the onion crisps add great flavor and texture to the burger. The whole place is clean, and the service was fast and friendly.

Everything was great here. The friendliness of the staff, it was clean, tables and a counter for seating. Water dispenser. And we were not disappointed in the food either. I got the double smash burger - as is. And it was so good! Fries were amazing and love that they use tallow! Fresh lemonade was so good too. Loved that it wasn't too sweet. We live down the street.. it's gonna be hard not to want to eat here all the time highly recommend if you want a juicy flavor burger and fries. You want be disappointed!

    Double smash with tallow fries

Small spot, but so worth it. Friendly staff. We got the double smash with tallow fries and a dragon fruit lemonade. The lemonade was so fresh and refreshing. The burger was by far the best smash burger I've had. And lemme tell you the fries cooked in tallow is so much better than your normal fries in oil. Absolutely recommend

    Seriously the best lemonade

The best smash burgers and fries in SLO County. Convenient location by the Pismo Pier with great, friendly service and amazing food. So good I had to come back the next morning to try their breakfast. Best Burger I've had in a while, definitely recommend.

Soooo...Brooks Burgers in Pismo Beach is apparently now their only venue (the location on Tank Farm…read moreroad in SLO changed a while back to "Petras"). We were sorry to see that location close down and extend our sympathies to Dallas (Owner) at having to close that location down (good help is so hard to find). Regardless, it won't keep us away from Brooks...cause the food is still "bangin". Yesterday's order was to go...we always ate "in" at the SLO location (just a "nicer ambiance") but always "take out" from Pismo (not thrilled with the fact that there is an added "take out fee" for this on your bill). Jaxon was our Order/Cashier associate on this occasion. He was personable in service and knowledgeable with regard to menu offerings. The restaurant wasn't as busy as I expected at 7PM but it took "a bit" to get the order out. Nevertheless..it was "on the money accurate" (exactly what we ordered/wanted) and that in my opinion...is worth waiting for. Our order : 2X Black and Blue Salads (4/5...yummy) and a Crispy Chicken Combo with Tater Tots (5/5...delicious). I had a "Combo Coupon" ($10 Combo instead of regular price), but still the bill was basically $43 dollars. Somewhat of a "value factor" because with a salad each, we were able to share the Crispy Chicken and were completely satisfied with our meal. Dallas (Owner) was already gone for the day, so we missed saying "hi". In this Yelper's opinion...on this "take-out" occasion because the food is still really "bussin", Brooks Burgers in Pismo Beach truly earned this 4 Star review.

My wife and I were walking on the beach and we saw this place. The minute we walked up to the Restaurant there were lots of things on the board but we couldnt find a menu. It wasnt until I walked into the Restaurant that I was able to find a menu. After walking out to the Lanai I gave the menu to my wife and we began looking over it to see if there was anything on it that looked interesting. After about 5 minutes we found food that looked appetizing. We went with the Shrimp Po-Boy and the (O.M.G) Clam Chowder Waffle Fries Skillet. I went up to the front and placed my order and let me tell you that the Staff were very friendly and when I said that I was going to order the Clam Chowder Waffle Fries the cashier said "That IS a great choice" I said I know and I can't wait to eat it. So I got my drinks and walked back out to the Lanai and just waited until the Buzzer vibrated and then it let me know My food is ready. Okay now when I tell you about the OMG Clam Chowder Waffle Fries I really mean it. Well 1, when I got the Skillet the my eyes got really big and my mouth dropped because I couldnt believe how big it was. I brought it out to my wife and she was like, wow, that looks delicious. We ate the Shrimp Po-Boy first and then afterwards we started on the Skillet and just like we thought, it was delicious. Thank you Woolys for a great experience, wonderful staff and Delicious food. If ever we are in Pismo Beach again, we will come back and visit.

He had tried it before, so this was my first time here. As I looked over the menu everything sounded good and pics of the food helped me make my final choice for lunch. The service was excellent, the cashier was friendly and patient with us ordering (since it was my first time here). We decided to sit in the patio area since it was nice day, even though there was a little bit of construction noise next door, it didn't take away from hearing the great music selection. Moments later a server brought out the food, everything smelled and looked delicious. He ordered fish N' chips w/upgraded garlic fries, (we love garlic fries!) some of the best garlic fries we've had, every bite was garlicky & dipped in ranch...mmmmm perfect combo. The fish was tender but crispy bites from the batter. I ordered the Pismo wrap (could be shared), I was not expecting it to be so packed with all the fillings. It was stuffed with sliced tri-tip, curly fries, avocado, pepper jack cheese, and bbq sauce. Every bite was so satisfying, flavorful and had a little bit of everything. Some saltiness from the fries to sweetness from the bbq sauce, well balanced (I did add some cholula sauce because I enjoy some spiciness). Definitely added as a stop when doing a day trip to Pismo. I'll be recommending friends/family to make a stop at Hoagies if they're ever in the area and they're looking for a chomp because a bite isn't enough. So after all the shopping/walking, pick up some Hoagies and head to the beach (which is walking distance), because great food deserves a great view!

I decided to give Hoagie's a try -- I usually go elsewhere for my cod wrap when in the area. I…read morerequested the cabbage and tomato instead of curly French fries inside the wrap -- and fries came on the side, anyway. The counterperson taking my order kept saying lettuce, and I repeated a few times, you mean cabbage, since that's what is written on the menu, and they seemed a bit confused.. But it did come with lettuce, not cabbage (?). Hmm. The fish was okay, but not fried to enough of a crisp, so it was not crunchy. It was also a relatively small amount of cod in the the burrito wrap. I say burrito wrap as the tortilla was pretty thick and barely toasted. I did see other patrons sitting at the tables with much toastier-looking wraps, and it looked like the steak wrap came in a wheat tortilla. So is there more than one kind of tortilla? The tartar sauce was middle of the road and there was not enough of it in the wrap for my tastes - I like sauce. But I could not get more for the side, as the line was out the door by the time I discovered I could use more tartar sauce! So while it was fine, and the fish seemed fresh, I was somewhat disappointed, and did not munch this wrap with the zeal that I do the one from the other locale in town where I typically buy the killer cod wrap. The curly fries were good and well salted. Lots of people sitting outside; tables could've been cleaned better. Maybe staff should come out and wipe them down periodically.
