Really quick and friendly service 5/5 Had a double smash burger and it was really good. The smash makes it seem smaller than it really is but great flavor and good size. Food: 3.75. Came by on a Sunday just before noon. Place is a very small place with no designated parking or outside seating. I was attracted to their cooking with beef tallow. I ordered their Loaded Tallow Fries ($7). I requested the fries to be well done since they will be smothered with the cheese, bacon, sauce and onions. Food was delivered timely and at the right temperature. Taste was good but I think a bigger fry size than shoestring would be better. The fries probably would have been better by themselves because of the fry size. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. For the most part, expect to take your food to go because the of the limited seating. read more

First and foremost, pricing is decent especially for a tourist area Get the tallow fries ($4), they are the best thing on the menu, absolutely delicious with any sauce, I regret not getting the loaded fries ($7) but honestly a sunny day and a bench by the beach would make a perfect trip to Pismo The Double Oklahoma (OK) Smash Burger ($10) really lives up to its name because it is smashed and it is really just okay. Like nothing special, very wet, a metric ton of onions, but absolutely no flavor. Falls apart in your hands and is very messy. I added an egg ($2) and that did nothing to help in any substantial way. All bark no bite kinda burger, skip this place and go to Hoagies or Cool Cat for a decent burger. But again the tallow fries are the freaking best, the most crispiest fries with amazing crunch and flavor. Service was great, if you call in you can pay when you pick up, online you gotta pay with card at checkout but the prices are the same as in store and over the phone which is really nice. Everybody inside was cool and cordial. If you want a smash burger then go for it, but if you want an experience maybe try some place else. read more

Okay, wow! The best smash burgers in town. I ordered the cheeseburger without grilled onions and my husband with grilled onions. We shared the loaded fries that were to die for. I gave this place a try while visiting Pismo Beach, and it was just. okay. The burger wasn't bad, but it also wasn't anything that really stood out. With so many good food spots in the area, I was expecting something a little more memorable. The food was decent overall, but I'd give it about a 5/10. Nothing was terrible it just didn't leave me wanting to come back. The staff was friendly enough, and the experience was fine, but for me the food didn't live up to the hype. Next time I'm in Pismo Beach, I'll probably check out a different burger spot instead. read more

Was so excited to try Low Tide Spot, and it did not disappoint! Their smash burgers are absolutely delicious, and you can get a single, double or triple patty. All smash burgers come with cheese, sauce, onions and pickles. And they also offer add ons like bacon, tomato and lettuce. You have the option of choosing tallow fries and tots, which are also both very yummy. One of the most exciting things about Low Tide is that have a variety of fresh lemonade drinks which are to die for! Highly recommend, and cannot wait to come back again soon! read more

Great new quick eats spot in Downtown Pismo! The single smashburger was the perfect size for a light lunch, and I can't wait to come back hungry for a double and to share some fries. Wow, the burgers were amazing. I had the Oklahoma Smashburger. It was so good, piping hot, messy, awesome solid burger. also had the loaded tallow fries. Those were freaking amazing. Wife had the smash burger with bacon and egg, she said it was great. The line went fast and food was out quick! The staff were nice people. It's a small place with a few tables, I suggest taking it to go and finding a table down the street. Don't forget to grab a tasty lemonaid! Anyway, We love this place. Easy online and quick ordering. Our first time but won't be our last. If you're looking for an incredible meal, Low Tide absolutely delivers. I stopped by with a group of four during a chaotic car show weekend here in Pismo, and they completely knocked it out of the park. The burger was amazing--incredibly fresh, juicy, and tasted great. But the real showstopper? The loaded fries. They were somehow even better than the burger, which is saying a lot. Everyone in our group of four loved their food; it was a unanimous 5-star experience across the board. What blew me away the most was the service. Despite Pismo being packed for the car show, the staff was completely on point, fast, and super attentive. Managing that kind of rush without letting the quality slip is no easy feat. read more

I went to this joint after a hike at the pismo preserve, i was very satisfied and the service was great i don't know if it was the owner or a manager who was also there but he added a sort of old school tough love talk with regulars and the workers it was refreshing to see that environment is still alive. The burger was just right with ingredient ratios and the tots were supper crisp id say crunchy and salty to perfection and the limited time hibiscus lemonade was refreshing and natural. I cant remember how much i paid but the food was delicious and i would definitely be going bk again. read more

Best thing - the very crisp "tallow fries." They were tasty and served in a decent portion, with a choice of three condiments. The basic burger is just that, basic. Fried onion crisps, sauce, cheese, pickle slices. Tomato - extra 50¢. Lettuce - extra 50¢ (seriously). The patty was sufficiently smashed, as it should be. But the bun was also, resulting in an unpleasantly smooshed sandwich. It tasted Ok, but looked rough. (Still can't get over the one-dollar upcharge for lettuce and tomato). The folks are friendly, and appear to like what they're doing ... this was on an "off" night, few tourists, on the eve of a big weekend. The place is really small - three tables and a couple of stools. I suspect most of the business will be takeout. All in all, it's doubtful this will be a "go to" place for locals, who can get a much better "smash burger" elsewhere (including L&T) without the hassle of Pismo Beach crowds and parking. read more

Everything was great here. The friendliness of the staff, it was clean, tables and a counter for seating. Water dispenser. And we were not disappointed in the food either. I got the double smash burger - as is. And it was so good! Fries were amazing and love that they use tallow! Fresh lemonade was so good too. Loved that it wasn't too sweet. Stumbled into Lo Tide Spot in Pismo Beach recently and honestly... I wasn't expecting much. Just thought I'd grab a quick burger. But man... these smash burgers are legit. And staff is down to earth. Great burgers great people. The patties have that perfect crispy edge you want from a smash burger, but they're still super juicy in the middle. Simple, greasy in the best way, and the bun somehow holds it all together without turning into a mess halfway through. Nothing fancy or overcomplicated -- just a really good burger done right. The whole place has that laid-back beach feel too. Feels like the kind of spot you hit after surfing or being out in the sun all day. I'm curious if anyone else in SLO County has tried it yet. What did you order? Single or double? Not saying it's definitively the best smash burger around... but it might be the best one I've had on the Central Coast so far. read more

We're the family that came in yesterday & immediately left out ... But came back in After wasting $50+ on unseasoned sandwiches from down the street , we were nervous to say the least ! Soon as we walked back in , the cook assured us "BEST BURGER IN PISMO" & got to work ... In total we paid under $50 got 3 AMAZING BURGERS, 2 Fries & 2 lemonades .... Jaxon was our Order/Cashier associate on this occasion. He was personable in service and knowledgeable with regard to menu offerings. The restaurant wasn't as busy as I expected at 7PM but it took "a bit" to get the order out. Nevertheless..it was "on the money accurate" (exactly what we ordered/wanted) and that in my opinion...is worth waiting for. Our order : 2X Black and Blue Salads (4/5...yummy) and a Crispy Chicken Combo with Tater Tots (5/5...delicious). I had a "Combo Coupon" ($10 Combo instead of regular price), but still the bill was basically $43 dollars. Somewhat of a "value factor" because with a salad each, we were able to share the Crispy Chicken and were completely satisfied with our meal. Dallas (Owner) was already gone for the day, so we missed saying "hi". In this Yelper's opinion...on this "take-out" occasion because the food is still really "bussin", Brooks Burgers in Pismo Beach truly earned this 4 Star review.

The atmosphere is really fun, with an old-school '50s diner feel, surfboards and beach decor throughout, plus big-screen TVs if you want to watch sports. It was also entertaining watching other guests attempt the huge stacked-burger challenge. One guy finished it surprisingly fast! They also have milkshakes with different flavors you can mix together. Definitely not for anyone dieting, but they sounded delicious. If you're in the Pismo Beach area, I highly recommend Cool Cat Cafe. Great food, great service, and a fun atmosphere for the whole family.

The person working the counter was extra nice and helpful. This is the first place in the area that competes with the spots I usually eat in the LA area. I will be back. Highly recommended.

Soooo...Brooks Burgers in Pismo Beach is apparently now their only venue (the location on Tank Farm…read moreroad in SLO changed a while back to "Petras"). We were sorry to see that location close down and extend our sympathies to Dallas (Owner) at having to close that location down (good help is so hard to find). Regardless, it won't keep us away from Brooks...cause the food is still "bangin". Yesterday's order was to go...we always ate "in" at the SLO location (just a "nicer ambiance") but always "take out" from Pismo (not thrilled with the fact that there is an added "take out fee" for this on your bill). Jaxon was our Order/Cashier associate on this occasion. He was personable in service and knowledgeable with regard to menu offerings. The restaurant wasn't as busy as I expected at 7PM but it took "a bit" to get the order out. Nevertheless..it was "on the money accurate" (exactly what we ordered/wanted) and that in my opinion...is worth waiting for. Our order : 2X Black and Blue Salads (4/5...yummy) and a Crispy Chicken Combo with Tater Tots (5/5...delicious). I had a "Combo Coupon" ($10 Combo instead of regular price), but still the bill was basically $43 dollars. Somewhat of a "value factor" because with a salad each, we were able to share the Crispy Chicken and were completely satisfied with our meal. Dallas (Owner) was already gone for the day, so we missed saying "hi". In this Yelper's opinion...on this "take-out" occasion because the food is still really "bussin", Brooks Burgers in Pismo Beach truly earned this 4 Star review.
