We came over for what should've been a quick stop, but for one, the Cowboys game was on!! So yes, the Cowboys!! Then it was such a vibe. The staff were awesome and so friendly! The man at the door was so sweet and kind, had some great humor too!! The bartender, whose name I didn't get was just as great. She worked the bar like a ninja!! I loved the dark ambiance of the bar, and they had a selection of cigars you could choose from. The sever comes over after delivery to cut it for you if needed. We all ordered our drinks, which were delicious! Angels Envy for me...mmmmhhh Greta way to end the evening with good vibes, football, cigars and a nice whiskey!!

Exceptional food, service and ambiance. First time seated in the dining/wine room downstairs, and it felt very intimate and cozy for our dinner. The duck confit and braised short rib apps were outstanding.

We stopped in here over the weekend for dinner. There was no wait and we were able to be seated instantly. The service was okay, but we had to keep waiving down our waitress to order entrees and to get our check. They gave us complimentary focaccia bread and a garlic pesto spread. We enjoyed their focaccia bread. We had their brown butter calamari, which was also very good. The entrees unfortunately were disappointing. The rigatoni meat and sauce were not very good and I wouldn't order again. The orecchiette was okay, but had too many breadcrumbs and not enough flavor. We would probably try another Italian restaurant when we go back to the area.

I went here the other day for dinner with my friend for my birthday. Everything was spectacular! The staff were very friendly, the ambiance was classy & cozy, and the food was delicious! We had the meatballs for our appetizers, I had the pappardelle bolognese, and she had muscles

Amazing Italian food and pretty good cocktails too. Very friendly staff and an overall great vibe. We will definitely come back when in the area.

Work dinner here on my first time to Lucca. Service was impeccable. Good craft cocktails and wonderful wine selection. Dinner and appetizers were delish. Highly recommend the burrata and the meatballs. For entree I had the Wild boar pasta. Delish. Everyone's meal around the table looked delish. Lobster ravioli was a hit as well. Nice ambiance and a nice view out the front in the North End. Wonderful experience.

I chose this thinking great place to bring in new year great food etc...left much to be desired. Our waiter provided our service but was very aloof. I order braised short rib w gnocchi. Could barley find the short rib and the gnocchi was extremely salty. Ordered the meatballs for appetizer. Sauce and balls were room temp. We also had frilled swordfish for an entree. Without the sauce the fish had zero seasoning..with the sauce it wasn't bad. I realize that New Years eve is a busy night but there was no countdown no toast NOTHING. I would try this place a again for one reason..if the gnocchi was doused in salt it had an amazing texture size and continuity and I love a great homemade pasta.

I love Italian food and when I'm in the north end of Boston there's so many places to pick from. So my friends and I came here for a quick dinner and drink before a show in Boston When I'm at an Italian restaurant, I usually get spaghetti or some type of ziti with red sauce because if you can't make that good then the rest of them menu is gonna be just average. I had some ziti Bolognese and their homemade pasta a the dish is amazing. I was highly surprised. So if you're in the area, I highly suggest you to try out this place you won't be disappointed.

Absolutely phenomenal dinner at Lucca! I went with a group of 10 and everyone thought the food was excellent. I was also surprised at how well spaced the service was. Sometimes with large groups, it seems like you're waiting around for too long for food. Not at Lucca! We were finished with dinner and had enough to walk around and enjoy the North End more. Highly recommended!

Service was great. They were attentive and made sure we had what we needed. The food was meh. They brought house bread that wasn't warm or crispy just spongy and I think it was a pesto hummus but I don't know. Flavor was lacking. We had a group of 4. I ordered boar cannelloni, there was a short rib app, a chicken pasta and a halibut. My boar filling was good but pasta was tough and not silky. Also the red sauce had way to much acid that they didn't try to tamp down. You could feel it burn. I tried the short rib and it was ok. But not a lot of gnocchi at all the area is super cute and I lived the walk but I wouldn't go back if here again.

That may be the way they're supposed to be served here but I didn't like that part. The service was super friendly and the food was brought out quickly. I loved that the staff were all wearing Spain jerseys to celebrate the World Cup win! One last thing I didn't like: there's a QR code at your table to pay your bill on your phone which is convenient, but they tack on a sneaky $2 platform fee if you use it, and it takes some extra effort to have your server actually bring you the bill to avoid that. Two bucks isn't a big deal but it's the principle! I'd rather put that amount towards the tip.

The low lighting, music, and stylish décor create a fun atmosphere that's great for catching up with friends or enjoying a night out in the Seaport area. The service was wonderful on both visits. The servers were attentive, friendly, and made the experience enjoyable. The drinks were another highlight. I tend to prefer sweet, fruity cocktails, and the lychee drink was right up my alley. I'd happily order it again. As for the food, it was... average. Nothing was bad, but nothing really stood out either. During dinner, we had the paella and the steak. On my lunch visit, we tried the roasted chicken, patatas bravas, garlic shrimp, and the ham and mushroom croquettes. Everything was perfectly edible, but I'd rate each dish around a 3/5. We ate because we were hungry, but none of the dishes left me wanting to come back for them. Overall, Boqueria is a great place if you're looking for a nice atmosphere, good drinks, and excellent service. If you're going primarily for the food, though, I think there are better options. I'm not sure I'd return to eat, but I'd definitely consider stopping in for drinks.

You know when you're eating a kale salad and the pieces are too big and you're kind of cramming them into your mouth and then the salad dressing is all over your face? This is NOT that salad! The kale is perfectly chopped so you can enjoy it with just your fork as you talk to your friend/spouse/date or just read your book. The dressing is such perfection, and the perfect amount, no gloopiness here! Crunchy breadcrumbs add magical texture and then there's a shower of finely grated gouda cheese on top. Have you ever read a good book and as you're reading it, you're so into it that you don't want it to end? So you slow down your reading speed to make it last a little longer? That's how I feel about this salad. There are other delicious items on the menu, I saw someone eating the burger that looked so good, I also want to try the Brussels but the call of the salad siren is too strong. Everyone is super welcoming and friendly, especially Catherine, and the kitchen team even shared the dressing recipe with me. Excellent wine list, casual and cozy space with twinkle lights, a lot of bar/counter seating, great date spot. Even though we just had drinks and an app here, I still would like to try and come back for their full menu. On a busy Saturday afternoon in Boston, walking around the Tall Ships, we stopped in at the Envoy hotel to use the restrooms. I remember this restaurant being here, but it's been quite some time. Since we could use a drink and some food, we saw 2 spots open up at the bar so we grabbed them. The place was packed! The outside was slammed. Plus, they had live music which was pretty cool. So, we decided to stay for a cocktail and an app. We ordered the guacomole which was good and I had their Clover Club cocktail, one that I have been meaning to try due to a competition bartending show on Netflix. The cocktail was excellent I had to order another. We didn't plan on staying long, but after meeting some new people and enjoying great conversations, we stayed for awhile. The bartenders looked pretty busy and very overwhelmed but they did the best they could. It was a great time! I know we will be back again for dinner or another time to try their full menu. Definitely a place to check out for sure! Cheers~

Unfortunately, this most recent visit didn't live up to the high standards I've come to expect. Mushroom Toast: The texture was rubbery, and the flavor was completely drowned out by an aggressive amount of balsamic. Beets: Had a very overwhelming cumin flavor that threw the dish out of balance. Roast Beef Slider: Served cold and felt a bit uninspired. It's such a cute, intimate space, and I've had so many wonderful nights here in the past, but the execution was just off this time around. Our server was super friendly and attentive, and she even offered a few samples so we could try before committing to a full glass, which we really appreciated. For food, we shared the hot dog with fried oysters to pair with the wine, and it was surprisingly delicious and a fun, elevated bar bite. Overall, the experience was fantastic -- great wine, great service, and a comfortable atmosphere.
