I was really impressed with Lucia's. We made a reservation, and when we got there, there was a bit of a line. We had a booth reserved for us, which was nice because the tables seemed very exposed. We started with the Pepper Bread - which was AMAZING! I could have just eaten that bread all night. He had the large filet, medium rare, with a baked potato and cesar salad. I had the small Boston strip, medium rare with baked potato and cesar salad. Both steaks were cooked to perfection. The server did an excellent job of timing the meal correctly. Our steaks were beautiful and soft and so buttery. Such a gem in Belden Village, where the chains are taking over. I'd definitely recommend if you prefer a Mortons or Ruth Chris type of evening, but at one third of the price. Next time, I'm getting lobster tail and the crab cakes. When we arrived it was a nice surprise to see a valet, he was absolutely wonderful and truly helped make it a nice experience. We skipped the lounge and went straight to the dining room where we were seated right away since we had reservations. The waitress was great, it was easy to see how incredibly busy she was and it took her over 10 minutes to get our drinks to us, but wasn't a big deal. As Italians we both felt the "red sauce" was bland, but the rest of our meal was perfect. We had 2 appetizers, drinks, and we each added upgrades to our meals and with tip it was around $120. All in all we really enjoyed it and can't wait to go back. read more

Good VEGAN upon request. I was destined for Lucia's for a family gathering. The day before I spoke with Mgr, Josh Gilbert, and asked if they could prepare something VEGAN for me. That is a huge request for 6:00 PM on a Saturday night! Josh told me he couldn't promise anything because of the time-frame but that would speak to the chef . Saturday when I arrived, Josh, told me what the chef had planned and my server kindly acknowledged that she was aware I had a special order coming. It was DELICIOUS. Thick black bean patties and a yummy tomato side similar to pico de gallo but better! My food was very good and they handled my request with much class and exceeded my expectations. I went to Lucia on June 13, 2016 to celebrate my father's 90th birthday. He likes steak so my brother made reservations at Lucia's. 3 of the 7 of us are vegan. It was a terrible experience for us. When my son told the waiter we were vegan and what would he recommend, the waiter (James) said "You have come to the wrong place". After more jokes at our expense, he did say they was a vegetarian meal which was vegan. As he came back to the table with salads or to refill water he continued to make insensitive comments to the 3 of us like "the animal is already dead, I say eat it". It made all of us uncomfortable. Even my nieces, brother and father were not laughing and would look down at their plates. Yet James did let u unit about the 4th round of abuse at which point he said "I guess I am beating a dead horse" and my son strongly said "Yes you are" and James finally stopped harassing us. Had this not been a celebration for my father we would have walked out. There is no way any restaurant would treat non-vegan people this way and I was surprised we were treated so poorly. The "vegetarian kabobs" were excellent but it makes me wonder why they even have them on the menu when they feel it is OK to abuse and cast judgement on the people who order this dish. read more

So disappointed. Tough steak, rice that smelled of cleaning solvent, bad service, food covered in oil. Even the beer was flat. Worst of all, nobody cared when we politely pointed out our dismay. They did take off one entree so they get two stars. Got to say everyone I talked to liked the place but it was a truly dreadful experience for us. What happened to Lucia's? It WAS our favorite steakhouse. Six of us went there recently for our annual family dinner. We were all looking forward to the steaks. Out of the 5 of us that ordered their well-known wonderful strip steak, 4 were cooked completely wrong. There was also no flavor to the steaks. We are the type of people who are rarely critical of food at a restaurant. The service was good. Saw a lot of new faces there this time. Are they under new management? We will think twice before going back and spending that kind of money for food that is very much below the old Lucia standard. We may give it another try because we like to give the restaurant the benefit of the doubt. Maybe they had an off night. read more

Just had dinner here for the first time and I found it to be quite underwhelming. Service was ok but the black female that was walking around picking up dirty plates really needs to calm it down. She was taking everyone's plates without even asking if they were finished with them. She took my girlfriends salad without asking but we just let it go. She did the same thing to everyone else we could see. The only time she asked about a box was when it was my girlfriends entree dish and even then she tried to take my baked potato that I only had 3 bites of. The potato plate was touching my entree plate so there really was no way she could confuse it for being my girlfriends entree plate. I think she is a bit confused on what is the correct approach here. The chopped salad really wasn't all that great. I had the creamy white dressing with it but could taste a lot of mayo in it. Why not chop the lettuce too? Sure the lettuce was cut up but not the same as the other ingredients. When I think of a chopped salad, I think of the Cobb salad from the brown derby in Hollywood. The music in the dining room is literally the classic rock station on the radio, commercials included. Surely you can do better than this? Crab cake was good but a bit soft. My girlfriend had the filet special which she said was ok but the rice dish under it was under cooked, I tasted it myself. It was also very starchy and grainy. My ribeye really had a lot of fat on it. I ended up eating some of it just to be able to have some steak to eat. Sour cream came out in a dish but the butter was all over the place due to it being somewhat melted in the wrapper. Was all over my fingers when trying to put it on the potato. Best to serve the butter in a dish as well. Lobster tail was good, id say even better than the ribeye which it shouldn't be but it was. I will say the steak had a decent flavor but way too much butter on top. So much butter in fact that I couldn't eat the rice that was under the lobster tail because it was just saturated in grease/steak juice/melted butter. At this point I cant say I would go back or even recommend your restaurant to anyone. Atmosphere isn't really anything remarkable either. Lots of blank walls that could use some decoration. We had a party of seven celebrating a birthday. The drinks, appetizer and after dinner "adult" smoothies were delicious. The entrees were just OK- definitely not worth the money. The waitress accidentally spilled a pasta dish all over my arm and leg and my husbands leg. There was an apology but no attempt at service recovery. What was even more disappointing was that the pasta dish-lemon lobster pasta- was tasteless and the lobster tough and overlooked, gnocchi dish was ice cold and sent back to be microwaved. Unless you are sitting at a booth, you are packed in like sardines. When the bill came, it was definitely NOT worth the money. We usually go to Sylvester's - but we wanted to try something new. read more

Who doesn't have greens for a salad when you are spending 18-$32 on a dinner? Food was decent- so complaints there. We were at this restaurant on 11-10 for a birthday. We had Gabriel for a waitress. The service and food were both wonderful. It was so wonderful we are going again tonight 11-18 for my husband's birthday. His choice. Of course, I was delighted. We were given this place as a recommendation from our hotel manager, as a place that had excellent food for a reasonable price. The service was good and the filet superb! It's locally sourced beef, melt in your mouth tender. The crust they put on the steaks makes them even more amazing. The only complaints we have are that the mushrooms side dish was an additional $5/each, and they were just plain button mushrooms - not sauteed or flavored in any way, so that was disappointing. The sauteed spinach side, when added to your entree, was an additional $4, which seems pretty excessive as well. After we ordered, we heard a different server going over all of the daily specials with his tables. Our waitress never mentioned any specials and, sadly, there were a few appetizers he mentioned that we would have selected over the one we chose. But, overall, it was a good dining experience. We would go back again if we visit Canton, we would just know what not to get. And we'd for sure inquire about specials next time. read more

My husband and I had reservations for 5:00 Valentines Day. I wasn't feeling very well and my husband asked me if another night would be OK. I said no it won't be decorated for Valentines Day. There wasn't anything. Not even a flower on the tables. Our waitress got our drink order and then our appetizer order. The calamari was not special. We had better for less. Then she took our dinner order. After we got our steaks I overheard another waitress offer the couple in the booth behind me Sweetheart Specials. They sounded good. Our waitress did not tell us of the specials. A woman (possible manager) came by asking how everything was and we let her know we didn't know about the specials and she proceeded to tell us what they were. We were almost finished with our dinners at that point. My husband said it's too late now to know what the specials were. She offered us dessert for two for either there or to go. We opted for the to go wondering what we would get. We got a small carton of chocolate mousse. Not impressed and probably won't go back with all the other restaurants to choose from in town. read more

4.5 stars. As far as Canton goes, probably the best place to get a steak in town. Let me start by saying this is a really nice place to just hang out as well. Their lounge is calm, with average noise and very comfortable feeling. They serve really good drinks and have great scotch pours (which is very important to me). The chopped salad with the red Roquefort dressing is AMAZING. Probably the best salad I've had; if not top 3 for sure. Also, get the crab cake appetizer...also in the top that I have had. I have had the filet and the Boston strip. And for me its not even close...the Boston strip is far superior. I got mine done medium rare and it was perfect with a outstanding crust on the outside. I was really not a fan of the famous Lucia's peppers (and I love peppers of all kinds). It is expensive, but not more so than any other fine steakhouse. Probably a birthday or anniversary place for most, but regardless when you go you will not be disappointed. read more

My husband and I are local to this area and frequent many of the finer restaurants in the area. We have given this place several chances but they cannot get a steak right. We have visited this restaurant at least 5 times and our steaks have never been cooked to order. It is a shame because the quality of meat is good and the seasoning is exceptional, but if the steak can't be cooked to order it is not worth it. In the past visits, management has always taken care of us when our food was not correct, but on our last visit this evening both of our steaks were not cooked properly, they forgot our mushroom order and management didn't want to do anything for us. After complaining when we got our bill, we were given a $11 credit on our bill for 2 $30+ steaks being cooked incorrectly. That doesn't even cover 1 of the steaks let alone both and the inconvenience of waiting for our mushrooms to go with our steak. We will not be visiting this restaurant in the future and do not recommend it to anyone. It is overpriced and lacks consistency. read more
