    Supposed to be chicken masalla.
    Dennis G.

We have been here many times. I suppose you can't hit a home run every time at bat. This is one time Luccia struck out. The good- our server was friendly, available and helpful. The room is warmly lighted and clean. The desserts were nicely done and tasty. The house salad, which is included, was chilled and crisp and nicely dressed in a white Italian dressing. Now the bad-our entrees were not up to their usual standards. I had steak Diane to my regret. It tasted like the liquor that was an ingredient had not been burned or cooked off. The meat was not steak, but some kind of grainy meat that reminded me of the Swiss steak in the college cafeteria. My wife had chicken masala that had three pieces of mushroom with a weird sauce over pasta. It wasn't the thick brown mushroom laden sauce we've had there before. I asked if there was a new chef or no chef. We were very disappointed with our meals. I'm not in a hurry to go back. I think we'll give it a rest for a while.

Visited Lucia's to celebrate a Family Birthday Dinner. The restaurant is located in a strip mall and accommodates plenty of parking. The inside has a good amount of seating (spaced out so conversations feel more private) and an elegant feel to it. We had no issues making a reservation for 8 and loved that their large group tables were round. We started with some house pinot noir and cab wine as well as the French-tini. Both wines came as a healthy pours and the french martini was perfectly balanced. As an appetizer, we got two orders of the meatballs that come with garlic crostinis. There were plenty of bread slices to pair with the four meatballs in each order. For entrees, our group got a variety of steaks, homemade cavatelli pasta, chicken marsala, and children's chicken tender meals. All steaks came out cooked perfectly based on the temperature requested. The sides are a la carte for the grill items. I loved that the pasta entrees were offered in full or half sizes. Each entree came with a starter choice of a house salad or their italian wedding soup. To top it off, our server brought out a celebratory cheesecake slice with a candle for our celebration. She did the best job checking in on our group, giving us time to review the menu, refilling waters; all with a large smile on her face. Our group being larger did have our check include 20% gratuity as a forewarning. Overall, Lucia's was a pleasure to dine at and I would recommend to those in the area!

Took my parents while they were up from Cincinnati. Everyone loved the experience. Atmosphere, staff, and food were all great! Not pictured are the 2 plates of cannoli that got devoured before a pic could be taken. They were amazing!

Perfectly seasoned/ flavored Bone in Ribeye, loaded bake potato, delicious bread , and choc cake. Great ambiance and though I'm just passing through town for the night, this will be on my must dine list for the future. I had the luck of a beautiful bar tender Natalie that was a great conversationalist and I DEF will repeat

Steak and loaded baked potato! Comes with a salad as well. My sister got this medium well and she absolutely loved it!

The food is top tier! The service is above and beyond! And the Ambiance is really great. I have one little pet peeve of dirty silverware, but I think that is common in most restaurants which is so sad. This restaurant has my upmost respect. Not only did the waitress go above and beyond, the kitchen manager was so hilarious and he went above and beyond as well to make our experience great! We had a wonderful time and will be back!

    Mystery meat on noodles

Our server Emelie was absolutely amazing, but don't order the clam linguine with white sauce. It tastes like dog shit. It looks like mystery meat. Smells like cat food. Almost threw up onto my plate. Choked it down to be a team player. I've seen raw chicken look better. The manager took it off the bill but she was still acting like a square, ruined the vibe.

    Nice bourbon selection

We started with the fried green tomatoes, which were a bit more on the "fried" side than the tomato flavor coming through, but still very tasty and I'd order them again. I had the scallop special with rice pilaf, and they were hands down the most tender scallops I've had in years. My wife had the pork cutlets, which were excellent. Between the atmosphere, food, and friendly staff, we left full and happy--no leftovers here!

The server who greeted us was warm and welcoming and the young lady who took care of was polite. She used a piece of paper to go over the small plate specials as there were more on her list than on the menu. Glasses of water arrived with quickness and our beverages came shortly thereafter. My pint of Blue Moon came with a pour about an inch and a quarter from the top and below temperature. I find that when you see over 8 handles from one horizontal tower you lose temperature control on the first pour. We started off with some small plates: Spanakopita Eggrolls- which included your traditional flavor and a wonton wrapper and they were okay. The Special Small Plates- Honey Walnut Shrimp arrived with Brussel Sprouts which weren't advertised but we were okay with. This sweet dish was very not sugar friendly and the shrimp lacked crispness. In fact the coating was so soggy that the batter just came off when picking it up. The pricey Vietnamese shrimp and crab cakes (Small Pates) were also average. You definitely picked up on the amount of filler at first bite and also noticed that the center was not at temperature and too creamy. Our main dishes showed and my wife opted for the Special Main: Cod, but she thought it was so so especially at the price charged. My Pork Chop was cooked to my requested temperature and needed some help with the salt and pepper shaker. The accompanying pasta was very firm and had enough Olive Oil on the plate to to help out the pasta. The green beans were fine. There was no dessert for us, but our server used her trusty paper to give us the run down on their desserts. I boxed up my remaining leftovers and paid the check. Be advised that everyone is now charging a percentage for using a credit card, so be advised as it is listed at the very bottom of their menu.

The lighting was perfect, the ambiance was delightful and although there were other couples, the restaurant was set up in a way where the conversations didn't clash and you couldn't barely hear anyone else. Food: We both ordered sirloins. Mine with compound butter and my partner's with mushrooms. She got mushroom risotto and I got the gouda risotto. I ordered a cabernet to go with my steak while my partner got a cocktail that I can't remember but was suggested by the waiter. The salads came out first. Very enjoyable. The steak came out with the risotto and OH MY GOODNESS. I swear this was the best meal I have had in YEARS. That is saying something considering I have how many reviews on here? I try a new place any chance I get and I am just afraid that nothing is going to compare to this meal and then I am going to have get a second job just to be able to afford to eat there every night that they are open and rely on meal replacement drinks for the days they are closed because no solid food will ever flavor quench these taste buds. The risotto was delicious and creamy. Rice was not overdone or underdone, completely perfectly cooked. I think we both preferred the gouda over the mushroom but that didn't stop me from making risotto latkes' with the leftover risotto the next morning. The steak, however, there was nothing left of that steak. It was melt-in-your-mouth and perfectly cooked. Best steak I have ever had and this is the one time I got a sirloin over the filet (the price was significant) but if the sirloin was this good, I can't even imagine how good the filet is. We will definitely be back. Like as soon as possible.

There is a top area that has some tables along the walls but I would describe it mostly as the "bar area" then there is a downstairs area with table seating. We preferred to sit in the downstairs area both times we were there. There are keno TVs for us to play our keno and it's not too noisy when it's busy. Our server the first time (I believe his name was Coby) was just a delight. I was debating on trying the chili cheese dog and he brought back a small sample of the chili for me to try before ordering and he was very sweet and enjoyable for the whole experience. Our server the second time, an older gentlemen, was less enjoyable but maybe he was having a bad day because he was a little busy. We loved playing our keno here and have had really good luck here. We agreed it was our new keno spot. Food: The first time dining, I tried the coney dog with cheese. The dog and the chili themselves were delicious. There was jus FAR too much bread. My partner got the philly cheesesteak and said that was the same case for her. We both had to pull off most of the bread. But the flavor was there on both dishes. A slightly smaller hoagie bun (or even steaming the buns to order) would really help these two dishes. The second time dining, I decided I was going to get the coney dog again but ask for a regular bun. I very much had a "3 bears" moment. The small bun got too soggy with the chili. SO, next time, I am going to get the half pound falconey with a regular bun AND light chili. That should be just right. LOL. My partner had the side salad this time and fired, She loved the fries just like last time and said the salad was basic but good. No sad lettuce or gross vegetables. I also had their chilled bottles of rootbeer both times with a shot of whiskey. Refreshing and delicious. We want to come in on a Sunday to try out the steak special.
