SCAM - LIFE THREATENING ISSUES NOT DISCLOSED AT PURCHASE I purchased a 2007 Lexus RX 400h from this dealership on 12/08/24, and it has been a complete nightmare. Shortly after the purchase, the car developed severe problems, leading to a dangerous breakdown during a road trip with my family. The vehicle shook violently and became unstable, especially downhill--clear signs of serious issues with the braking system. Five warning signals lit up, forcing us to stop immediately. After having the car inspected by a reputable mechanic, it was confirmed that: Warning codes had been cleared prior to the sale. The ABS system is non-functional and the rotors are severely damaged--issues that did not develop overnight and were clearly present before the sale but impossible for us to notice regarding the wheel and system positioning. The ABS actuator requires replacement (3K repair = half of car's value), and this critical defect was never disclosed. This dealership's failure to disclose such dangerous mechanical problems is not only unethical but likely a violation of California's consumer protection laws, including the Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act. Selling an unsafe vehicle without disclosure is completely unacceptable. Avoid this place at all costs--they clearly prioritize profit over customer safety and integrity. read more

When I asked about obvious leaks I was assured it was from the rainfall that morning. I learned many mistakes on my end, but this dealership is the reason you shouldn't trust anyone. I was shopping with my 20 year old daughter for her first car. We had been to some of the bigger dealers and Walnut Creek, Concord, and then Hayward. It was getting really frustrating and frankly, worse than I expected. As we were leaving a horrible auto dealer, my daughter saw the Lucky Auto sign so we walked onto the lot. We were greeted by two nice young people who were very friendly and very low pressure. There were at least three great cars on the lot in our price range and with reasonably low mileage. All the other dealers had laughed at our price range. Once we decided on a car, we left in order to let them service the car and clean it up as it had just came on the lot. We then changed our mind and wanted a different car. So I called and we went back the next day (Christmas eve) and they were happy to let us test drive and they sealed the deal making the price work and the car was great. My daughter drove it to southern California two days later very safely. This is a family owned business and they care about their customers. I think they mostly buy cars from auctions. However, the car we ended up buying was a one owner car from a family friend of theirs (we found that out after the deal was done). All the cars on the lot looked clean and were reasonably priced. It's a very small lot but there are lots of choices and the owners don't pressure you to buy. In fact I asked about a truck on the lot for a friend and they told me to wait until after the pandemic (if possible) as truck prices are really high now. The service was horrible. I called in the AM they told me they had a GTR for sale on their lot so I drove from San Jose! When I got to the lot the sales person told me the car was not there it was at their house.....he told me to come tomorrow. Keeping in mind I took the day off work to go see this car and the sales rep didn't even apologize he was not professional. Stay away they advertise cars that are not even on their lot. First time car buyers looking for a vehicle due to job demands. We filled out the paperwork, completed a test drive, and dotted our I's and crossed our T's. At the very end of the process we were told that we must have full coverage in order to drive the vehicle out of the lot! No biggie! But, it required us to quickly go home to get those documents. The dealer agreed to this, he knew how urgent our need for a vehicle was. And, decided to help us in staying present while we handled our business. This is where things started to go South. He told us to call him, he sent 10 calls to voicemail. When we finally reached him, he no longer approves of selling this car to us tonight. The dealership closed at 5 we were home and had our documents in hand, ready to go by 5:15 Due to the good graces of our roommate, we now had a vehicle to return back to the dealership at 5:30 where the dealer was no where to be found. It's very unprofessional to make guarantees you can not keep. Your word is bond, especially in terms sales. So, I will not go back to a dealer who will epically fail on keeping his word. We bought a used car 10 days ago from them and put only 50 miles and the car started making lots of noise. We had a mechanic check it out and said its the power steering pump. It leaks and makes lots of noise. I called the sales person Philip and told him the situation. He said that he will talk to the owners and get back to me. When we were picking up the car we noticed oil stains where the car was parked and asked Philip if it was from this car and off course he said no because he wanted to make the commission selling the car. Now I am stuck with a vehicle that needs $1500.00 work and they won't help. Very bad people. Buyers beware do not buy a vehicle from them. By law they are to do an inspection on the vehicle before they sell them but it seems that they are not doing them right. The mechanic said by looking at the gunk of oil on the bottom of the engine, this car must have had this problem for months if not years. BEWARE do not buy form them. I will be reporting them to the better business bureau and also will take them to court. I just paid 13k for the vehicle and now I have to put another $1500.00 read more
