See they provide these cartons included with the price of the meal - can't they put soup in these too?

Just a heads up if you order food to go, you have to bring your own soup container..... but the whole meal comes in individual containers that's provided by the restaurant except the soup that makes absolutely no sense and if you want them to get you soup they're going to charge you seven dollars to buy the soup so they can provide you the container to put it in that makes no sense and is completely crazy

What was supposed to be veggie chow mein vs Chop suey and sesame chicken???

Will NEVER order food here again, the sesame chicken had 0 sauce on it. When I asked she said it's because there's seeds in the breading? No seeds in the breading btw. I ordered veggie chow mien and chicken chop suey. She gave us TWO chop sueys and said they're the same thing one just comes with rice. When you google chow mein it says the main ingredient it noodles but she wanted to fight us and say we must be referencing Panda Express.

    First part of the meal...

It was a pleasant experience but the food was not great. We enjoyed our meal but it was a bit pricey for decent Chinese food. Service was pretty good. Just attentive and quick. Nothing out of the ordinary. Not overly pushy or impatient.

    Ohhhh yum! Only 6.75 each!!!

Yum! I have been going to this joint for six years now. It's the best in Newberg for this type of food.

The veggies were plentiful, perhaps a bit over cooked to softness. The fried rice was a little disappointing. Seemed mostly rice and soy sauce. A few specks of mystery meat in the mix but the texture was good. My biggest end disappointment was the food came without any plastic silverware or napkins. I'm in a motel with no eating utensils. Am I supposed to use my hands? Luckily, after I made my way to the front desk the clerk found me a plastic fork. Kinda a pain to have to put on shoes and stuff to stroll down there but I was hungry. So in the end, the food was ok to mediocre, filled me up. The lack of utensils and napkins could have been a disaster waiting to happen.

The one thing that really let me down were the shrimp used for the shrimp dishes. I cant say 100%, but they tasted to me like cocktail shrimp that were just placed cold on top of the other items. They definitely weren't hot and just had that "taste" that grocery store cocktail shrimp have. The chicken in the sweet & sour chicken was very good. I'd probably give Jin's a 3.5 stars if I could. Some items were good, some were just okay, nothing was bad. Service was friendly and the place is cute and spacious.

I loved the service from everyone. Either from the gay man flirting with me from the other booth the food was great but a bit expensive. Chan's will be seeing the likes of me again!

This is the first time in many years that I've given a 1-star rating to a restaurant. I hate to say…read moreit, but this food just isn't good. It's very bland, definitely needs MSG, chicken powder, and salt in EVERYTHING. We ordered two different combos, a noodle dish, and a large soup. The cost was $70 and not worth $20. You get huge portions, but it doesn't taste good. POTSTICKERS - these are very thick, gummy, and flavorless. They are not steamed and crisped in a skillet the way they should be. They are deep fried but because the wrap is so thick, they aren't crunchy, they're just hard. The filling has no flavor. The sauce had too much sesame oil and not enough vinegar, so it was low in flavor. HOT & SOUR SOUP - the worst soup I've ever had. It's not hot or sour but it is extremely sweet and as thin as water. I'm talking so much sugar that you really can't taste anything else. There's no carrots or mushrooms, just a tiny bit of egg, a few bits of water chestnuts, and probably 2 ounces of tofu. I tried to save it by adding more vinegar and msg, but I could not add enough to overpower the sweetness. None of us liked it and it didn't get eaten. KING PAO CHICKEN - this was missing the small red peppers, so it lacked spiciness. All the other normal ingredients were included, but it had no flavor. BEEF & VEGETABLES: had all the right ingredients, but the meat had no sear so it was grey and had no flavor. It might as well have been tofu. The sauce was flavorless. VEGETABLE LO MEIN: this was the best thing we tried, and it was just passable. The noodles were thicker than they should be so it felt gummy, and again there just want enough flavor. PORK FRIED RICE: this was old, dry, and flavorless. I didn't find a hint of meat in it, no green onions, no vegetables. It was basically old, hard rice with soy sauce. SWEET & SOUR CHICKEN/PORK: both of these could have been the exact same dish, as the chicken and pork were indistinguishable from each other because neither had any flavor. The meat was cooked well, not too dry, and the fresh batter was light and crispy. The sauce was pure sugar, no sourness, so there just wasn't any flavor. EGG ROLLS: these are not egg rolls, they are ordinary crispy spring rolls with no meat. Basically they are just filled with a flavorless cabbage mixture. But they were crispy, at least. OVERALL: it may be fast, and it may be large portions, but if it tastes so bland you don't want to eat it, it's not worth it.
