Really good basic Chinese food. High quality ingredients, not greasy. Very friendly service and quick, like food is ready in less than 10 minutes for a family of 4. Only issue I have is they charge $2-3 more to substitute noodles for rice in the combo plates which I've never had at any Chinese place so I think it's a little unusual, also odd how the price changes depending on who is taking your order. Seriously the best Chinese food around. We live in Stayton and make the drive to Salem to get food from here. The staff has always been so nice and the food is seriously so good he just really can't beat it. This has been my husband and I's favorite Chinese place for years and years now and we are so grateful for them and they're delicious food! The soup is so amazing I highly recommend it. This has become my "go to" restaurant in Salem. The menu is extremely affordable as well as extremely tasty, and there are a lot of good vegetarian and vegan options (plus a ton of meat options). I'm always greeted with a smile and a complimentary pot of hot tea when I come here. The food is amazing, fresh and flavorful. Their service is the best anywhere. The restaurant itself is kept very clean. And they have a TV on the wall (set on mute) so I can watch the game while I'm there. I was in Salem for the day and wanted Chinese food for lunch. I found this place on Yelp. Ordered the Mongolian Beef lunch special. It included a cup of soup, rice, hot tea and a spring roll ! Good food at reasonable prices. I've been here a few times and it has the typical Chinese American fare. Fried items have consistently been crispy and not too oily. They are usually pretty busy but service is fast and friendly. Good go to if you're craving some "traditional" american style Chinese food. read more

I tried this place out a couple of weeks ago while on vacation. I got the Kung Pao chicken, orange chicken, spicy green beans and broccoli beef. The Kung Pao was exactly how I like it, sooo good. The orange chicken was different than what I'm used to and absolutely amazing. Somehow they got the orange chicken crispy without using all the batter places usually use. The entree portions were huge !!! I called in the order for pick up and it was ready on time. The lady who greeted me was very welcoming and polite. I'm not sure if I'm ever going to be in the Salem area again but if I am I know where I'll be eating Chinese food at. if this place was in my hometown I would probably go here once or twice a month. For a standard Chinese restaurant, this place is great. New, clean, and friendly. The combination lo mein (which I asked for with no bbq pork and a bit spicy) was delicious. Dropped in for lunch here. Best Cashew Chicken I've had in decades! Large servings. Quick service. Teriyaki Chicken was tender, but would have liked a bit more teriyaki flavor. The fried shrimp were pasty, the beef lo mein tasted so fishy, and the mother's chicken chicken meat was very dry yet the coating was soggy (flavor was good and could've been soggy due to delivery).
