Lulu's for breakfast with a view. It's on the second floor with ocean views. It's open space, so we were seated under a birds nest that formed on one of those exposed piping on the ceiling. It was pretty gross bc I sat directly under it and when a bird flew on it, I was scared I would get shitted on. A few branches would fall several times too on the table. So gross and unsanitary. Just the one table directly under it. The food is good though. We got the Bloody Mary, kalua burrito, kalua Benedict and some mochi pancakes. The burrito was quite tasty and plenty of pork and fresh jalapeños gave it a good spice kick. The salsa that came with it was good, not spicy but a good addition. The mochi pancakes were super good and chewy. The best pancakes we had in Waikiki. We enjoyed breakfast beside the birds nest. I get weirded by birds nest because there's a lot of chiggers that live in the nest, and chigger bites are no joke! read more

The date of my visit was 2/7/26. We were staying at the Park Shore Waikiki Hotel next door which offers a 10 or 20 percent discount to eat at Lulu's. All you need to collect the discount is to show your room card. I ordered the Dawn Patrol Omelet with side of spam fried rice. And a strawberry smoothie. The omelet was delicious but the star of the show was the spam fried rice. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was good. Great views being across the street from the beach. Tourist First time in Oahu - overall the food was ok. We came here after Diamond Head and we were starving. We came on a Monday morning and got window seating right away. I was excited to get the guava French toast I saw on Yelp, but it was discontinued. I decided to get the their signature stuffed French toast. Unfortunately, it was bland. The toast was thick and the filling was not flavorful enough. It was too hard to try to finish - maybe if there was more fruit to add some brightness to it. We're staying less than five minutes walk from this restaurant for a month, so I decided to stop by with my son this afternoon while my husband got some much needed rest. We arrived after the lunch rush, and about half the restaurant was empty. Despite the many available tables, we were asked to sit at the bar. No problem, I figured they might be short staffed. We took our seats, looked through the menu, and waited for someone to help us. During that time, several servers and staff walked past us to deliver food to the guests on either side of us, but not a single person acknowledged us. The guest sitting next to me received her meal just as we sat down. 20 minutes later, after she had finished eating, we decided to get up and leave because no one had ever come over to greet us, take our order, or even give us water. Even on our way out, no one acknowledged us, not even the person who sat us down at the bar! If you want to know what it feels like to be completely invisible, this is the place to visit. We ended up trying another restaurant just a block away, where we received prompt, friendly service despite a long line of customers and a much busier dining room. My husband had been looking forward to trying Lulu's loco moco, but with so many excellent restaurants in Waikiki, I don't see any reason to waste our time giving this place another chance. read more

However, on specialty occasions, who is counting? We shared a burger and fries and an order of the mochi pancakes. That I have to say was a ton of food. We took some pancakes home for we were so full with half a burger and fries!! The burger was juicy and the fixings were great. The fries were crispy and tasty so no complaints over here.
