I have been coming to Luna Grill for a long time but this last experience has been very disappointing. Rather than enjoying the sit down environment with pleasant music and delicious food, I feel like I'm being shoved out the door with all my food wrapped and packaged in plastic to-go boxes. Rather than having nice, clean plates with silverware, we're having to unpackage our meals like it was ordered online for delivery. A major part of the great experience at Luna Grill has been cheapened and I'm truly disappointed. Regardless of COVID, the amount of health precautions has been restored at other establishments except a restaurant that is now my former favorite place to dine. Today I went to Luna Grill in Laguna Niguel with my 9 year old. I ordered the chicken gyro kids meal and the veggie bowl with a glass of wine. After I sat down to wait for my food I noticed on the screen that kids under 10 eat free mon-thurs If you order an entree. I went to the cash register to ask if they would honor the promotion but they said that it was my job to let them know about the promotion but that I could call the manager to get my money back for the kids meal. All in all it was very bad customer service. The cash wrap employee should be knowledgeable about the promotions and should educate everyone about them when ordering food. read more

Unbelievable, I've come here two nights in the last week and they shut down their in dining early. Tonight I came in at 7:58 and it's supposed to close at 9:00 and I was told that they can only do to-go plates. I spoke to Sophia the manager. I'm not sure what's going on with this restaurant but when I came last time,the beef kebab was dried out like it was reheated and who wants to eat it to go plate when you come to a restaurant to sit down and enjoy a meal. Chicken is juicy, there's a lot of other restaurant choices in this plaza..but after trying the usual suspects...(fast food) I really enjoy coming to you LG because it's a different flavor and my grandfather enjoys it also! Consistently healthy great tasting food. Mediterranean Diet has won 6 years straight as most healthy in comparisons to all diets. Sophia and Saria the manager have this branch running at the level of a finely tuned instrument. Most convenience food is not healthy and this is one of the best exceptions. Love it. read more

Delivery is quick and easy. We have also walked over for pick up after ordering online. The food is good. My dad loved their lamb kebab and has requested it several times. The salmon has been hit or miss for me - sometimes it has been rather dried out but once it was perfectly flaky so I'm on the fence. The tabbouleh is excellent. The chips are enjoyed by my family but the fries are greasy and not their best. Relatively healthy Mediterranean food - but can be pricey if you add extra items and be aware of the surcharges for the plates if you customize or add their items like tabbouleh. Since it is closeby we keep returning but not as often because it can run easily $70+ for a family of 4 adults if you customize your plates. read more

First time I ordered here and it was not a good experience. I ordered online for curb side pick up. My order was placed and it said it would be ready at 6:28 so off I went. I got there and called to let them know I was here, she said it would be right out. I waited for quite some time and called back, again response was, it would be right out. I'm a fan of this place since it has a large fenced in outdoor seating area that is extremely dog and kid friendly. We were able to bring our stroller into the outdoor area and had it at the table without blocking the walking path to/from the door. We stopped here for lunch on a Saturday and service was great, and the food was fresh and came out quick (which is definitely much appreciated when dining out with an antsy toddler). I absolutely love Luna Grill. I used to order from the Laguna Nigel location at least once a month. When we moved to Dana Point, I was thrilled to learn I live less then 1 mile from another location. All I can say is I have no idea why I've order 3 times from this location. I should have just made the drive to the Laguna Nigel location. The chicken was under cooked, the pita bread was hard as a rock, and the rice was various different sizes, hard, and undercooked. The meal was borderline inedible. I will still eat Luna grill because I absolutely love their food but I will make the drive to Laguna Nigel. This location is absolutely horrible. Luna grill lovers beware. read more

This was my first time to Luna Grill and I was looking forward to the Gyro wrap pita. I had to wait over 15 minutes for this order and they were not overly busy. The meat was quite good but all other components were un-remarkable. Kale in the pita made it taste bitter. I will not likely go here again. read more
