We received literally the worst service here compared to all the Luna Grill locations across multiple counties we have been to. We had placed our orders with the friendly cashier and they were pretty basic orders - two plates with chicken, no additional modification beyond the usual customization options. We waited at least 15 minutes for our order, all the while seeing multiple parties that ordered after us get their orders, some of which were identical to what we had ordered. After more than 15 minutes, we went up to the counter to inquire on the status of our order as others have been served after us and your employee in charge of the order window snapped at us and said it takes up to 15 minutes for an order. We mentioned that that's not the answer to our question and that we wanted to know what the status is. We had somewhere we needed to go to and we would've switched to a to go order if it was going to take more time. He rudely interrupted us before we could say all that and said, "I already answered your question." Clearly, he didn't. Our orders were ready shortly after that (now over the 15 minute mark). Meanwhile, this employee went to the kitchen to complain about us to the kitchen employees and then while we are eating, he also approached the cashier to complain about our interaction. A shift manager (I assume based on clothing) did seem to address the issue with this employee but didn't speak to us at all, not even with a clarification of the wait time or an apology for the wait. The employee even told the shift manager that we gave him "attitude". Yes, he complained loud enough about us that we could hear him across the entire dining room. We would be understanding of the 15 minute wait if it's standard but we are frequent customers of other Luna Grills and have never waited this long. Further, multiple parties with similar orders were served before us despite ordering after us. Plus, based on other reviews and tips here on Yelp, it seems having an unusually long wait time compared to other locations is expected. We are appalled that an employee would continue to behave in such a manner and your shift supervisor would condone and support such behavior, between being rude, interrupting us and complaining to fellow staff members about us. Look, we have had plenty of experience working in customer service so we understand being frustrated but at least save your venting and badmouthing for when the customer is no longer sitting there. read more

The Luna grill in Dana point has to best luna grill out of all of them and let me explain why? They're Chicken kabobs are always cooked to perfection and theyre not to tar even tho its hard to not tar them but it seems The cooks here at this location are expert in Mediterranean food Not like at other locations the chicken is always always always dry. The food here is great and is really conveniently located near several shops including a grocery store. This location always gets my order correct, has fast and friendly service and Manuel makes the restaurant such a welcoming place. He is always watching the tables and offers a to go box just at that moment when you realize you can't finish all your food. The pita bread was pretty standard. I also had the sampler plate, which had humus, couscous, dolmas, and falafel. Unfortunately, all of it was sub par. Not horrible but just a magnitude lower than Skewers Mediterranean on Crown/Niguel. Everything tastes better at Skewers for the same price point. The management of this restaurant is the most unorganized I have ever seen. We have eaten here several times, and each time the experience is worse than the last. Don't count on uber eats ordering, they will cancel your order when your driver shows up. Don't count on calling in the order, they leave their phones of the hook when they are busy. If by some chance you reach somebody, they tell you 20 minutes, and you end up sitting in a booth for an additional 30 minutes as they scramble to get your order ready. No apologies from the staff, only excuses. By far, one of the worst run restaurants I have ever seen. Not worth the hassle. Try the Aliso location, they are much better. read more

The "chilled chicken" add-on was terrible: tough, dry, flavorless and seemed like a lot less than the previous amount of fresh-grilled chicken that could be added to a salad. Update: The wait has always been long but we lived with it. Today, we gave up when it was 30 minutes and we still did not have our food. Ridiculous. We got our money back. They didn't seem to even try when we showed them the receipt was 30 minutes old. Won't be going back. And no, it was not very busy. Moderately busy at best. Love the food and the ambiance. In a pinch this place worked for some vegan Greek food! It was all very oily though, so I wouldn't make it a habit.

Ordered walnut salad with gyro meant, 2 drinks, and hummas. All to be delivered by Uber Eats. One of the drinks was missing. Utensils were missing - yes I remembered to add them to the order. This meant not eating the salad as I was in a hotel with no silverware. When I opened the hummas and carrots I was treated to a very long black hair wrapped around the carrots. The meat was cold and in tiny, greasy hard bits. $40 of food went into the trash. I called Luna Grill who said sorry and for me to take up the bill with Uber Eats. Avoid this place like the plague if you don't want to get ill. read more

Definately a little disappointed in the food. I took my family here on a Saturday afternoon after visiting the mission. We ordered three wraps, two of them chicken and one sirloin. Each wrap also comes with a side of rice, fries or salad. The meal comes out to about $12 for the chicken and a dollar or two more for the sirloin. First they got our order wrong and all the wraps were chicken even though we ordered a sirloin. (The place was empty) The wrap had a multi grain lavish but the lavash was not even toasted or heated up and didn't look like the pic. Wrap was filled with chicken and greens.
