Popped in to order a Mediterranean salad to go. It was freshly prepared, and delicious. Kayla, Claire & Karoline were friendly, responsive and patient while dealing with me and the next 5 customers that followed. This was an hour before closing. They ate whats missing in the customer service industry. It's rare to see people enjoying their jobs and doing them without attitude or complaining. I thought we would try the salmon this time. It was charred well, and who doesn't like a nice char? Well, I think you should rename it 'salmon jerky'' because it was so dry. The chicken was also very dry this time. The restaurant was so busy that cooking it too well seemed contradictory to the circumstances, you would think that it was left on too long or had been sitting for several hours on the warmer. The food was ready for pickup about five minutes later than the designated time on the app. The staff was polite and working hard. The place seemed clean. The food was a disappointment this time. Pre this last visit, I would have given them 4 stars. Normally, I place my order through the app and then pick it up. This time, it was a last-minute decision. I ordered the vegetarian bowl and a side of the garlic lemon chicken since it did not appear that I could add it as a protein to the salad. I paid $11 dollars and change for 5 cubes of chicken. I could have bought 2 whole already roasted chickens from Costco and had change left over. When Kamala (our future president) talks about price gouging, this is an example of corporations doing just that. To add insult to injury, the chicken was not moist and tender. The flavor wasn't very garlicy or lemony either. Such a disappointment because the garlic lemon chicken was my sole reasoning for going there. The staff was friendly enough. The service was horrible! For over-cooked 5 cubes of chicken and a salad that was probably pre-made, I waited 32 minutes. The restaurant itself was clean and tidy. There were 3 guest parties sitting when I arrived, only 1 of which seemed to not have been served yet at their table. Now, I know some will say that they could have been busy with to-go orders. When I got there and ordered, there were 0 bags waiting for pick up. And it stayed that way for a good long time. While I was there waiting, there were about 3 bags that even touched that stand, and those were not big bags of food. One party of 2 men were in front of me, and while it took about 10 minutes to get their food. They sat and stayed after saying their order was to go. There wasn't a steady flow of people coming and going. Towards the end of my exhaustive wait, another couple came in, ordered, and sat down. 3 or 4 minutes later, I heard they wife speaking and saying something like she's hungry. I leaned over and said, "Well, I've been waiting about 25 minutes so far. So you're likely in for a wait. We'll, low and behold, that woman's food came out and was set in front of her about 30 seconds after I had made my statement She looked at me and I just shrugged and said, glad you got your food a lot sooner. Another 4 minutes or so passed and I finally was told my order was ready. Instead of bringing the bag over to me where I had been waiting, and waiting, she had sat it on the counter. I had noted to myself that the bag she pointed to had actually been placed on the counter about 30 to forty seconds prior. Again, not a long time between her setting it on the counter and telling me it was ready, but as I stated, I already had been there 30 minutes waiting on a vegetarian salad and 5 cubes of chicken. I had seen a few people come, order, get their food, and leave the restaurant in this time. My experience this day was bad. The service was slow, and the staff seemed not to care how long a customer was waiting. Even though they were nice. The food was mediocre at best. The lil balls of falafa that were in the salad was dry. So very dry. I spent about $25 and change on this meal. It will be a long while before I consider eating there at the Haun location again. read more

So a decent selection of items and a clean well kept business. And fresh food, except the packaged vinaigrette. Didn't try that because I can't have processed food with lots of preservatives, and it definitely looked mass produced in a factory. The beef Kabab and the chicken kabab were good. An extra beef kabab was $10 which seemed pretty high, so I went with the chicken for an additional 5.99. The Mediterranean salad was different than the cucumber based salad expected but was good too. The only thing I would say was embarrassingly deficient especially for the not so low price was the terribly small portion of rice. For being one of the least expensive parts of any meal, it was surprising that the bed of rice that the kababs were on was almost a mere one grain of rice thick, probably less than a 1/4 cup cooked which would be what 5-10 cents? Really sad when there should have been 4-5 times as much rice for a plate that cost $30. Wasn't fast service but I don't expect it too fast if it is cooked fresh. However for $30 I expected more. When I go to Mediterranean restaurants in Orange and San Diego county, my wife and I usually have food to bring home for $30. read more

I freakin' love this place. First visit was for the Yelp event inviting Elites to their grand opening. I think I've gone back at least 3 more times since! The service is outstanding, and Chelsey deserves a shout out! Her energy and smile are enough to turn anyone's frown upside down! Once you order at the counter, find a table and they will bring your order to you. It is a bit cozy inside (bring a jacket if you get cold easily), but they do have a few tables out on the patio facing Newport Road. The food is always fresh, which I absolutely love. In addition to that, the options are all healthy...even the desserts and drink options! I am in love with the gyro meat and haven't purchased anything else other than their Signature Gyro Plate and Pita. I normally do not order fries, but on my last visit, I joined the Rewards Club and that was pretty much the only option under $8. Let me tell you... these ain't no fries from McD's, they are nice and piping hot! They weren't heavily salted, but I like that because we all could use a little less sodium these days anyway. The Gyro Plate is a great value at $14.99. An entire meal complete with Basmati Rice, Salad and the beloved Gyro Meat! I have yet to try it as it comes, because last time I subbed extra salad for the rice. The Tzatziki Sauce totally makes this whole thing come together. If I can ever break myself free from their Gyro, I'd love to try the Salmon, Koobideh Kabob and Bistro Beef Kabob. Parking used to be wide open, but now that all the other businesses nearby are opening up at Center Pointe Plaza, you may have to walk a bit further from the larger Sprouts lot. I found the place packed a few minutes after 11, hoping to beat the lunch rush, well that didn't happen. A big handful of owners or corporate guys were hanging out on the customer side of the register, I'm sure assessing operations to make sure the restaurant is running perfect before the next opening. Pretty smooth it was, the young lady at the counter was not only super polite but confident and wanted to make sure I got what I wanted. That was a great first impression. You order at the counter, then they give you a number to take to your table. I got some tea and lemonade before sitting both were fresh and refreshing. Before my order was ready the place was packed, so a 20-minute wait for lunch opening week was not a problem and it was expected. Another lady brought my lunch she was super sweet and thanked me for waiting. Served in sturdy bento box style plastic boxes, my lunch of Gyro meat, Rice and Side salad with dressing and tzatziki on the side looked amazing. forks and napkins delivered with the food, but my baklava was missing. on request it was brought out immediately. Had the opportunity to try the food at this location before it's opening. We ordered the dip trio for our appetizer and it was fantastic! I especially enjoyed the spicy harissa hummus because it has a surprising heat which I really liked. For our plates we ordered the gyro and bistro beef kabob. Both were moist and delicious. My wife enjoyed the salads as the dressing was very refreshing. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this location as everything was fresh and tasted great.
