I was told Lunette Cambodia is packed during lunch hours at the Ferry building. As much as I wanted to dine-in, I listened to my coworkers advice and ordered online for pick-up. Due to limited space, they do not take reservations. The menu is simple and limited but everything looks mouth-watering! I ordered the LORT CHA because I haven't seen pin noodles served for years! It's stir fry with pork and eggs. The meat and sauce was too salty for me. I think it was the fish sauce. I know that's frequently used in Cambodia cooking. It was still very good - just on the salty side. Ordering online was very easy and quick. The wait was about 30-45 minute so I would plan ahead and order early before you get hungry.

There's no shortage of food options in and around the Ferry Building. Lunette has been on my list of places to try since I heard about them. Finally got to try them out a few Sundays ago. Their menu is short and sweet, which makes me think that all their offerings must be great. I opted for the dry noodles, which included a light broth base to put in the noodles, but definitely not enough to call it a noodle soup. The first few immediate bites were tasty, but later on I felt really thirsty. Not sure what's in this broth or noodles. I had a few bites of the protein rice entree and that sauce was meant to be savory sweet, but a bit too sweet for my liking. Customer service was a mixed bag. The cashier didn't seem to want to be there and stared at me blankly when ordering, totally understand that the line was long and kept coming so she was probably tired. I would've rather ordered through a self-service kiosk. The lady that handed me the food was upbeat and pleasant. May want to give Lunette another try in the future, but not hurrying back any time soon. #18/2026

I was looking for something to eat at the Ferry Building before I went home, and saw a line in Lunette, so I decided to go there. They were already busy when I came, but the service was pretty quick. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The restaurant space was small, but the staff was pretty fast at cleaning and wiping tables for the next diner. I ordered the Dry Noodle. It was rich and hearty, with many layered flavors. At first, I thought the dry noodles were a bit salty, but the side broth cut down on their saltiness. The broth deepened and enhanced the flavor of the dry noodle. The pork in the noodles was a bit dry and overcooked, so I didn't care much for it since it didn't ruin the dish. Overall, I enjoyed my visit to Lunette. I am happy that I came here and finally had my first Cambodian food. I will definitely come back if I am in the area.

These dry noodles are perfection. You get roasted rich umami noddles with big shrimp. Didn't need to add anything to savor every bite. Come early or you'll be standing in a line, especially on the weekend

I've been looking forward to trying Lunette and so happy I finally got the opportunity to. On a Saturday at 6pm it was packed! They have first-come, first served seating which was a little frustrating since you need to hover around tables that are finishing soon. Food was great! - chicken wings - 4/5 - pea sprouts - 4/5 - loc lak - 4/5 - steak portion was a bit small - dry noodle - 5/5. Very flavorful and nice portion!

Lunette has been on my list for a while so I finally took the chance to grab lunch when I happened to be at the ferry building with a friend. It was peak lunch hours, ~12:30pm on a Sunday, and it was pretty busy. There's a packed bit of seating around the corner where Lunettte is located in the ferry building, an assortment of tables, stools and benches that have you elbow to elbow with other diners at some points. We ordered at the cashier and they told us they would pack our food togo since there was no guarantee of seating opening up - though we were lucky to snag seats at the end of a communal long table while waiting for our food. I got the K.T.P.P (kuy teav phnom penh) noodles dry, and it came with a small side of broth and unlike the soup version my friend got, came with some crispy pork too and a slice of lime. The broth was super flavorful and slightly sweet from what seemed to be daikon, and I do wish I got the classic soup version so I could have more broth, though the lime and crispy pork was perfect for the relatively hot day. Some of the meat was a little dry/tough though, and I did find myself wishing there was some more vegetable or something pickled towards the end as it started to get a little one-note, even with the lime. Overall, glad I've tried Lunette - the broth was execeptional, though I think the noodles and meats didn't really stand out to me, and I hope to try the chicken wings in the future too.

I have no other words but wow. I've never had Cambodian food before, and I'm honestly so glad I chose this spot for my first experience. The atmosphere, the vibe, the service, everything was on point. All the workers were welcoming and super friendly. It's inside the Ferry Building, so it can get pretty busy, but honestly that just added to the whole experience. I tried three dishes: Bai Cha (fried chicken): The chicken was crazy crispy and packed with taste. It came with pickled radish and ginger rice. The rice itself was pretty simple, but the chicken easily stole the show. They also served it with a side of soup broth and what I think was a shrimp paste dipping sauce, which was surprisingly really good. Somelaw Guhree (yellow curry): The curry had a rich, comforting depth with a nice balance of spices and creaminess. It wasn't overpowering, just really well put together. Adding chicken gave it a slight crispy contrast that made each bite even better. This was probably my favorite dish!! K.T.P.P Dry Noodles: Definitely a must try. The side broth was bold and had just the right level of saltiness. The noodles themselves were cooked perfectly, not too soft, not too firm, and loaded with a mix of toppings. They didn't hold back on the meat at all too!! I did end up adding a bit more lemon to give it a stronger citrus kick, but overall it was amazing. My friend got the lemon grass chicken which was also really good. Overall, amazing first Cambodian food experience. I'd 100% come back.

I've gone to this cozy, ferry building place so many times in the last month because my new office is nearby and I've been a happy customer every time. My go-to is the salt and pepper beef, but I've heard great things about the noodle dishes there as well. Every bite of food from this place is full of flavor and it's so hard to find Cambodian food in SF. The waiters are all really nice and helpful as well. This place is a gem! Note: I think the portion sizes are fair, but if you are a big eater like me you might not be full

We came in the middle of the day like around 3pm. They only had 2 dishes available, because they were closing soon to get ready for dinner. Good thing it was dishes we didn't mind to have. Both noodle dishes. I had dry & he had actual Kathew. SO flavorful. Lunette is a very nice owner. We talked to her for a bit. I'm so proud of her coming back from closing Oakland spot & opening BIG in the heart of the city showing the Cambodian culture. Makes me happy, Hopefully, more people will know more about Cambodian culture now. Glad we came to try her spot. Will definitely come back, maybe even with work friends. To show the culture, since my husband is Cambodian/Khmai as well.

It was a busy Easter Sunday at the Ferry Building and Lunette had a great flow of customers for the lunch rush. While there is limited seating in front of the restaurant, my friends and I decided to take our orders to go and find an open table to eat at nearby. The restaurant is adorned with bright colors and provides an open-concept atmosphere where you can watch your meal being made. There are both booth seating at the counter and tables to accommodate customers dining in. If this is your first time here, your orders are taken on the right side, where the menus are. It took roughly 15-20 minutes for my meal to arrive, which is understandable due to the small kitchen capacity plus the continued rush of customers that the staff was managing. This is my second time here and I decided to try the lort cha, which is pork stir fry pin noodles. The greens and bean sprouts provide a nice crunch with each bite, while the pin noodles are the perfect thickness to soak up the powerful flavors of the sweet garlic sauce. I appreciate that they don't skimp on the volume of ground pork and eggs. Now, if you're into more spicy flavors, keep in mind that this dish is on the sweeter side and is reminiscent of teriyaki with the balance of sweet and salty. The meal does come with hot sauce and you can also pick up packets of sriracha sauce at the counter. Overall, I really liked this dish and I'm happy to be able to explore Cambodian food here at the Ferry Building!

Lunette has long been on my list of places to try, but I had been waiting it out because every time I walked by, the line was outrageously long. My friend and I decided to try our luck on a Sunday morning right when it opened, and we were one of the few customers to snag a table among the early lunch crowd. I had my heart set on trying the noodles, and after much internal debate, I decided to order the dry noodles. Despite the quickly-growing line, my noodles were prepared in under 10 minutes. The thin rice noodles were coated in a slightly sweet sauce that reminded me of pad Thai (but more savory). The toppings included ground pork, a thin slice of roast pork, bits of charred pork belly, and a couple of prawns. Every single bite was delicious - there was a balance of sweet, salty, and tangy in addition to textural variety from the various forms of pork. The cup of broth served alongside the noodles had a very comforting taste that I sipped in between bites of noodles (vs. the soup). With a squeeze of lime and a drizzle of chile oil, each bite was loaded with flavor. The seating area was small, but it was roped off so it still felt semi-secluded from the bustle of the Ferry Building foot traffic. While I didn't have to wait long to order and receive my food, the line wrapped around the corner by noon. The menu featured many other delicious sounding items, including pork noodle soup, yellow curry, and various chicken rice plates. Next time, I will bring more friends so we can try it all!

We stopped by Lunette on Saturday for lunch after a friend recommended it because she saw it on Netflix, and I am so glad we went. It was my first time trying Cambodian food and it definitely did not disappoint. We all ordered the dry noodle dish and it was absolutely delicious. It came with a side of broth that balanced everything perfectly. I especially loved the jalapeños in fish sauce on the side, such a simple touch but so flavorful. The ambiance reminded me of a food stall, very vibey, and the service was quick and efficient. Can't wait to come back and try more dishes!

A neighbor had mentioned it to us months ago, but we only got around to trying it recently. It's just a short walk from where we live, which made it an easy choice for a casual meal. My significant other, who has family ties to Guatemala, shared some background that made the visit even more interesting. Pollo Campero was founded in the 1970s in Guatemala by Juan Bautista Gutiérrez, starting as a small family business before growing into the largest Central American chicken chain in the world. For many people in Guatemalan and Salvadoran communities, it's more than just fast food; it's something deeply nostalgic, often associated with travel, family, and memories of home. The Fisherman's Wharf location feels casual and family-friendly. The space is long and narrow, with the ordering counter at the very back, so it may not look especially inviting at first glance, but once inside, it's straightforward and easy to navigate. The staff member who helped us was friendly, answered our questions patiently, and took our order quickly. As for the food, we tried the traditional hand-breaded fried chicken, which was well seasoned and full of flavor. It's familiar enough to appeal to fans of U.S. fried-chicken chains, but distinct enough to stand on its own. The sweet plantains were nicely done; soft, sweet, and a good complement to the chicken. We also tried the horchata and jamaica (hibiscus tea), and both were refreshing and well-balanced. While we were there, several families came in, and the atmosphere felt relaxed and welcoming, especially for kids. Overall, we had a pleasant experience, and it's easy to see why Pollo Campero resonates with both longtime fans and newcomers. If you're in the Wharf and want something familiar yet a little different, this is a solid option.

I ordered "The Original" with jasmine chicken rice, extra cilantro, cucumber, chicken skin (love that those are free add-ons), and an egg, and while the bowl was fine, all of the flavors felt like they could've been amped up several notches as everything leaned pretty bland and one note. I even swapped in the ginger scallion sauce, usually my favorite with Hainanese chicken, but it still fell flat and didn't bring the dish together the way I'd hoped. The dark meat was okay, if under-seasoned, but the breast meat was honestly pretty rough as it was extremely dry to the point where I was chasing each bite with water just to get it down. I added the chicken spring rolls as well, which were poorly wrapped and fell apart after a single bite, and they used the same overcooked white meat, making them basically inedible. If this is the standard for their white meat, I really think they should either stick to dark meat or make it clear that dark meat is an option without an upcharge. That said, my order was ready right when I expected it to be, pickup was smooth, and the staff were very nice and friendly, which keeps this from dropping lower in rating as I'm likewise hoping this was just an off night.
