This spot opens after 9 and it is just magnificent. These blueberry donuts are borderline life changing. Each bite hits better than the last and leave a warm impression! Be prepared to wait in the drive thru and leave happy! They also only let you get 6, which is fine because they're filling. Worth the wait!

Date: March 6, 2026 Selection: Half a dozen blueberry donuts Experience: The low stars are definitely due to the amount of waiting we had to do. We got here around 11:30pm or so and the line was already around the corner of Food 4 Less, there was probably 15 cars in front of us with one car in front of us getting out of line leaving us with 10 cars in front of us. We eventually got to the window an hour later and the donuts do taste great when hot out of the oven and we're alright when eaten the day after. I don't think I would wait in line again for these donuts since there are other places that sell blueberry donuts without the hassle of waiting in line. I did like the fact that the donuts were served in a pizza box.

Took my boyfriend here as this was one of my favorite spots when I used to live in OC. The only caveat about this place is how ridiculously long the line gets every night it opens. We arrived right before 9PM when it was scheduled to open and there was already a line formed cutting through the parking lot that is shared with a grocery store. There is a walk up line that you can order from but drive through seems to be the most favored. Even with being 5 minutes early, we still waited about 40 minutes with only six cars in front of us. I feel like for the price point and how good the donuts actually are, I don't know if I can justify the wait time. I know it's a couple who run the whole show but if I plan on coming back I definitely will try to come earlier since waiting after the open is a pain. I guess make sure you have something to do/bring to kill time. We ordered half a dozen which came out to be $20. I'm not sure if that was always the price but I was a bit shocked as it was a bit steep for me. The blueberry donuts come out nice and warm. It's freshly glazed all over with icing with the first bite being so crispy but moist on the inside. Definitely a great sweet treat to end the night!

I made a plan the night before. I'm gonna wake up early Saturday morning and go grab some while everyone is still asleep. So I stuck to the plan, woke up early, drove to Anaheim - when I got there (right when they opened) there was 1 car in front of me. I got a couple of the blueberry donuts, 2 of the Oreo and 2 of the M&M's. The blueberry ones were still warm, you can feel the warmth thru the bottom of the pink box. The employee was nice and helpful. Let's start with the side acts- the Oreo ones were dry and didn't taste fresh. Almost stale, like they were left overs from the night before. The M&M's were the same, dry and stale. I would skip those next time. Now, the star of the show - The blueberry ones were 10/10. Fresh and warm. Not overly sweet, there have a light glaze over them. Just the right amount of sweetness to them. It's not an overpowering blueberry taste. It's a good balance. I would come back, only for the blueberry ones and right when they open.

Came to the spot after dinner with friends. Was recommended this place from a friend who has only seen it on TikTok and has tried lining up before but always found the line too long to stay. We decided to wait it out this time since there were five of us to pass the time quickly. For those who don't know, this place makes blueberry donuts made to order, which means they are fried to order. From what I could tell, there are only two older people working inside, which would explain the long line. There seems to be no walk up line and it's only drive-through. We joined the queue 15 minutes before they opened. We got our donuts after waiting in line for an hour. Within that hour, we were almost hit by a dumb Tesla driver, who was playing chicken with us, and trying to reverse into our car. This review is not at all influenced by that one part but hopefully the people that did that see this. Now onto the donuts, they came out wonderfully fresh and hot. I love most fried things crispy and hot which this was! However, I didn't find that the taste of the donut itself was anything special or worth lining up for. I'm sure if one were to just fry blueberry muffin mix from the box, you'd get this and still taste better. Overall, an hour wait for mediocre donuts is not worth it in my eyes and would definitely not come back

We waited about an hour and a half on a Friday night. The line wrapped around the parking lot but we came prepared with a karaoke machine and a card conversation game to pass the time. The donuts are made fresh to order so you're getting them straight out of the fryer. I was hoping to purchase a dozen so I was a little disappointed to find out there was a limit of six donuts per car especially after waiting that long. Since we had multiple people in the car, unfortunately there wasn't room for seconds. The donuts came out nice and warm, soft center, crispy edges, perfectly glazed without being too sweet which complemented the blueberry flavor from the donut. Honestly, it's a perfect donut in my opinion. The only flavor available was blueberry and the price came out to $20 for half a dozen.

It's been a while since i've been here since high school like 10 years ago! But dang the donuts were so fresh and piping hot when received! A lot of reviews saying that the ladies are rude but just don't take things so personally and be kind they could be having a rough day yk. They have other things on the menu but their blueberry donuts is what people wait in line for! It's drive thru based and the wait takes about an hour or 2 depending on what day and time you wait. Wouldn't say it's worth waiting for over an hour

Went to m&m donuts, known for their blueberry donuts, in Anaheim before attending a conference at the convention center. The blueberry donut was served still warm from the fryer and their cake donuts that have a crispy and airy bite and are lightly glazed. It's a good donut and I understand why they are famous. Also got a maple bar and my total cost was $5.

My friends and I got lucky we came around 11:30 PM and we didn't have a long wait for the donuts. My fave is the blueberry donut definitely worth the wait! My second favorite is the oreo one! Everyone should def try it out! Also, nice it's a drive thru so I can sit and wait in my car XD

Half a dozen blueberry donuts for $20. We waited in line and got to the front only to meet a lady who was very cold and short, rude to us lol. Donuts are absolutely delicious. It is fried as you order, so there is a wait when you get to the front and put in an order. It was 11:12 PM and she said we could only order half a dozen maximum for $20. Once we got to the front to order, we had to wait about 10 more mins for the donuts. Absolutely warm, delicious, chewy, and not that sweet. I have been coming here for over 15 years, and I still think it tastes the same. I will come back!!

Oreo donut $3.20 SO GOOD, MIGHT BE BETTER THAN THE BLUEBERRY? It has a ring of fudge on the inside, it's so rich and delicious!

WORTH THE HYPE! Arrived at 8:15pm on a Monday night and there was already one other car waiting in line. It opens at 9:00pm and the bathrooms at Food4Less are free to use if you need it! The first car's order was taken at 8:50pm and left at 8:52pm, we pulled up and were out with our donuts at 8:55pm so they DO open early sometimes! We ordered 4 blueberry donuts and 1 oreo donut. Those are the only donuts they have (at night, not sure about the daytime). Total was about $16.52 so ranging $3.20 per donut after taxes. The glaze on the blueberry donuts is so thin, light, and not too sweet, whereas the actual cake donut itself resembles almost like a fresh blueberry muffin. There is no artificial flavor at all, and you can really taste the freshly baked blueberries! It was a delightful donut, and I easily ate 2 of them in a row and I don't generally like cake donuts at all! Didn't think I'd like the oreo donut, but I think I ALMOST liked the oreo more than the blueberry. It was extremely soft on the outside with an oreo crumble covering the entirety of the donut. When you bite into it and chew, it tastes as if there is a smaller ring of fudge on the inside. The rich fudge combined with the soft donut and the oreo crumbles made for an amazing experience. Don't think I'd wait an hour for these but I'm definitely coming back (early before opening so I'm one of the first in line again!)

aside from the crazy wait times, this place is so solid. the blueberry donuts here are THEEE standard. such a yummy treat! it's an absolute must to demolish one whole donut in the parking lot after leaving the drive thru

Could only buy 6 pieces after a 2 hour wait on Friday night =(
    Kristine F.

I visited this infamous donut drive thru twice in the same weekend. First time was a Friday night at 9:42pm and we waited over two hours in line only to be told they could only sell us six blueberry cake donuts. Yes, six pieces. Imagine our shock and disappointment. The four of us in the car each ate one in the parking lot. My verdict: Blueberry flavor is totally there, fresh icing glaze, hot, and so very crispy on the outside. I wished the inside was softer. My friends enjoyed them but something was missing for me. I'm so used to Dunkin's blueberry munchkins. I woke up too early Sunday morning and figured hey, it's a seven minute drive from my hotel. So I drove our rental car to M&M at 7am. No line whatsoever but I was so sad to find out the card machine was broken and could only pay cash =( I planned to buy four dozen and ended up counting my cash in front of the sweet Latina momma, concluding I had $47 in cash. She took pity on me and said it was fine and packed up 18 donuts for me. $30 per dozen fyi The donuts weren't piping fresh like Friday night but they were still good. I had two of them that day. Lesson learned: bring cash and go early in the morning when everyone's asleep. I left and came back with donuts & 7 Leaves (SoCal drive thrus are awesome omg!) for my friends and they were still sleeping when I got back an hour later.

Do they have cronuts? Croissant + donut.. I see they sell croissant sandwiches and donuts.

I see lots of great reviews for late night! Are they open during the day too? The website and yelp say 4am-12pm but I don't see any reviews for day time. Thank you!

Hi Susan, they are closed from 12pm, until they open up again at 9pm.

Can you guys post/update your current phone number on Yelp and Google please? Was trying to call in an order and the phone line is disconnected

There's no call in an order option? You have to wait in line.

    Are there gluten free options?

    Yea

How early can you go to get the blueberry donuts?

They start making them fresh at 9pm!

What is the cost of a dozen donuts?? Would have been nice to know if you use a card to pay, that is extra. Just left and was charged $27.98. Just curious if you pay cash is it $25?

Each donut is about 2 to 2.50 depending on the flavor they may have a card charge. I payed 29.53 for 6 oreo 6 blue berry.

Are the blueberry's donuts fresh at 4 am?

From what I understand the Blueberry donuts are always made fresh to order that's why you'll have to wait in line because they make them as people order them

Do you have to do drive thru @ nite or is there a walkup window?

    Drive thru only

Google says M & M Donuts is permanently closed, is this true?!

No, they are still open. Just went in today! 8/17/2021

    Do they have vegan donuts?

    No they do not

Are they open right now ? Cant call them for some reason

    Yes

Hi need to pick up 70 blueberry donuts can I preorder for pick up or do I have to wait in line to then order, I don't see a phone number to call?

You have to wait in line.

As of today, are workers wearing masks? We have family members in the high risk group, so would have to avoid if the workers are still not wearing masks (based on reviews a few months ago). THANKS!

In line right now, I see face masks!

Do they open in the morning as well?? I saw the hours 4am-12pm for morning. But I am not sure After…

M&M donuts is open at 6 AM every day

Do they only serve the hot donuts in the evening? What about the earlier hours? I want hot blueberry!

The night time are the freshest, after 9pm

Do they still serve those who were in the drive through line before closing (during COVID, drive through situation)?

    Yes they do

The blueberry donuts that are sold in the AM are they freshly made or from the night before?

They made fresh everyday. They will sell until all donuts are sold. There has not been day old donuts, since we started buying from this place.

Does anyone know if they sell the blueberry donuts in the AM?

I went at 8am once and they sold out. They say to call the night before and pre order them.

R u guys open during this virus?

    Are they currently open?

I walked up 2 days ago + they were also still doing drive thru.

I picked up a small assortment so I could get a good feel for what they offer. Before I even got to the donuts, I have to ask: why does the box have four holes in it? I understand it's probably meant to resemble donut holes, but it seems like an odd design choice. For donuts that aren't exactly cheap, I'd rather have a box that keeps them fresh than one with decorative cutouts. Now for the donuts: Chocolate Raised: The donut itself was surprisingly light, airy, and soft with a nice chew. The texture was exactly what I want from a raised donut. The problem was the chocolate icing. The first bite tasted good, but after a few seconds it left an almost burnt, slightly bitter aftertaste that became more noticeable with every bite. It completely overshadowed what was otherwise a really nice donut. Glazed: This was easily my favorite of the bunch. A good glazed donut is the benchmark for any donut shop, and Randy's did a respectable job. The glaze had a pleasant sweetness without being overwhelming, and the dough was soft and fresh. For some reason, though, it felt a little denser and heavier than the chocolate raised, even though the flavor was much better. Maple: The maple flavor itself was enjoyable and had a nice, rich sweetness without tasting artificial. The icing was noticeably thicker than I expected, almost like a layer of frosting instead of a thin glaze. While it tasted good, that extra thickness made the donut feel heavier and richer than I usually prefer. Blueberry Cake: This one just wasn't for me. The cake texture felt dense and dry compared to the raised donuts, and the blueberry flavor didn't really come through. Instead, it had an artificial sweetness that left me wanting to move on after just a couple of bites. Cronut: It's essentially a glazed croissant, and that's exactly what it tasted like. The outside had a nice crispness, the inside was flaky and buttery, and the glaze added just enough sweetness. It was enjoyable, but it also wasn't anything that really stood out or made me think, "I need to order this again." Overall, I'm glad I finally gave Randy's Donuts a try because it's such a well-known name, but I don't think it's a place I'll be returning to. The glazed donut was the standout, the dough on the raised donuts was genuinely good, but the flavors and overall experience just didn't live up to the reputation for me.

The flavors were balanced deliciously. The chocolate added depth, the caramel brought just enough buttery sweetness, and the coconut gave it texture and a slightly nutty finish. Best of all, it wasn't overwhelmingly sweet. Going back for this one soon! If coconut is not your thing, but you enjoy chocolate and whip cream I recommend the whipped cream stuffed chocolate Long John. The chocolate icing had a nice cocoa flavor without being overly sweet, while the whipped cream filling was light, airy, and pleasantly smooth. What really stood out though was the donut itself because it was soft, fluffy, and fresh. The freshness was obvious from the first bite. The donut had that perfect texture--light and airy inside while still substantial enough to hold all of those toppings. It managed to feel indulgent without becoming heavy. Even the atmosphere here adds to the experience. Standing outside with a fresh donut and coffee in hand while watching the steady stream of customers come and go gives you the feeling that you've discovered a local favorite rather than a chain trying to imitate one. If you're the type who usually grabs a plain glazed donut and moves on, this is the place that might convince you to branch out. Between the creative flavors, fresh ingredients, and consistently delicious execution, it's easy to see why people line up in the morning. Some donuts satisfy a craving, these donuts create one!
