Where do I start? They came out for a repair call and had to order a part. The tech said the part would arrive in 2-3 days and they would call to come out to finish the repairs. Waited and no call back nearly a week later. Called them to get a status update and then was told that parts take 10 business days. Fine. See would be another week. That time came and went. We called at least half a dozen times to try to get an update. We kept getting promised callbacks but then crickets. It's not been a month and we've not been able to get in touch with anyone at the local office. We've filed a dispute with our bank on the payment for the parts and work they never did. Another company is coming today to do the repairs that ME Flow hasn't and won't follow through on. Save yourself the time, money, and discomfort of an unrepaired HVAC system. We've been a month without any HVAC because this company has no business management skills or follow through. Calling a customer back isn't a heavy lift. read more

Their customer service is abysmal. Some of the young kids that answer the phone need serious counseling. I was given a time of 6am to 10am for service. Well that time slot doesn't even EXIST. PLEASE TRAIN YOUR STAFF. Also, another time I called on status of new furnace ETA and the rude young girl said "we don't know when it's comin. We'll ll let you know after its at the warehouse." WHAT COMPANY DOESNT HAVE A BALL Park estimate on a delivery ??????? I also asked to speak to a manager and she said "no one was available." So sorry I spent extra $ on the home comfort club. Worst customer service ever. A tech came over on June 3rd and decided that we need a new pump for the A/C. We paid for the pump on June 4. Didn't hear anything from them for days. I started calling and e-mailing to no avail. A tech came back on June 22nd with the wrong pump!! They sent me another bill forgetting that I already paid on the 4th. I e-mailed John Blanco the general manager asking him when the pump will be replaced and of course he didn't bother to reply. Not doing business with them anymore. read more

The technicians were great, but every other aspect of dealing with this company has been a massive headache. My first call to the business on 5/5/26 was to schedule HVAC and Plumbing inspections. I informed the gentleman on the line that the address on file should be moved to my name/information as the previous owner had used their services as well and they should no longer be on file. He confirmed that, as well as the scheduling of both inspections. The confirmations (2 texts) were sent to the previous owner's number after providing my own. On the scheduled date (5/9/26) only the Plumbing inspector showed up. He was knowledgeable and professional, no complaints toward him. He noted that the previous owner was still on file, so I called the main line again - the woman on the line was very nice and said she updated my information, but also that I had no HVAC inspection scheduled for that day. She rescheduled me for 5/23/36 (conveniently, after a lower cost promotion was no longer valid) in the 8am-12pm time frame. After a week of not receiving any confirmation of scheduling that appointment I used their online chat service to confirm that I was scheduled - whether it was a bot or a human I'm not sure, but they indicated that I was NOT scheduled. I called a third time for clarification and the woman on the other end was also very nice and confirmed that I was scheduled, but had to reconfirm my information as she still had the previous owner's information on file. The HVAC inspector arrived after the 8am-12pm time frame due to a previous job going over time. He was professional as well, so I have no issues with that. However, after the visit I received an email request for review still addressed to the previous owner, and have not yet received my receipt for the work done on 5/23/26. I understand it was a holiday weekend, but are receipt processes not automated? Why is my account still attached to the previous owner? If a new account is needed why did no one indicate that to me? With all of the other back-end issues I have little confidence in the management of this company. There is no easy way to contact them in writing, and I have requested the management email from my plumbing technician. BLUF: Didn't diagnose or fix the problem, didn't complete a service, and spent more time trying to Upsale than do the little bit they were doing. Do not recommend. I discovered the evaporation unit to the main floor was running continuously even when the system was turned off. I pulled the fuse and planned to make an appointment, but could not get past the blasted online not. I like to talk to a real person, so I stopped and started looking for a different company. My wife then made an appointment, but for a day I had to be at work. No problem, our college aged daughter was home for break so we kept the appointment. What a mistake! Of course my teenaged didn't know what the problem was. She said that the main unit "was making a noise." The tech checked it out and told her it was okay. I know he looked at it, because the fuse is back in, but dude didn't do anything, not only because the fan Continues to run all the time, but also because he told my daughter that it needed to be cleaned, but that he didn't bring anything to do it. The appointment included an annual service, so what the heck is he doing here without a way to complete a service? I keep a supply of filters in the closet with the main HVAC unit and they say that they changed the filters, but they must have done it at random because some intakes have new filters, some don't, and one upstairs they threw out the old one but didn't put in a replacement! And then they had this sales guy come out and try to sell us an entirely new system, telling my daughter who was there and my wife, who my daughter called on the phone, that the A/C unit only lasts ten years. All the while their own tech is telling us there's nothing wrong (even though he didn't do anything). They took my money for a service they didnt do and they wanted to sell me new systems! No way I would recommend them for anything. I think they behaved this way because they were dealing with women, a young gal at home and a mom on the phone. I had to fight M.E. Flow to acknowledge an installation problem that was literally sitting in front of them. They installed a Carrier water-source heat pump in my Arlington condo in October 2025. The written scope included a new pan, water safety switch, and warranty/maintenance coverage. After installation, the unit was extremely loud, pushed too close to the wall on the return/filter side, and missing the auxiliary pan listed in the scope. For months, I was told nothing was wrong. They even sent the original installer back to inspect his own work twice, and both times he said everything was fine. It honestly felt like being gaslit over something obvious. Only after repeated calls, photos, follow-ups, and escalation did M.E. Flow finally acknowledge the issue. They came back, added the missing pan, and moved the unit about 7 inches from the wall -- proving the original setup was not acceptable. Now they still owe me written confirmation of the warranty extension I was told I would receive because the unit ran for months in that condition. They corrected part of the problem, but I should not still be chasing accountability. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. Original scheduled HVAC inspection was canceled due to lot of emergencies. Was rescheduled almost a month later between 12-5. I called the morning of the appointment since I didn't get Confirmation. They confirmed. Called around 4p to check to see where they are on the schedule. Said by 5. Okay great. Got to the property saw the ME Flow truck in the parking lot. At this point it's 5pm. Technician was in the car. 45 mins later I see him turn the van on moves it back a few inches then parks. Finally comes out. I check to see if he was going to be the one inspecting my hvac. He said he had someone before me at another unit. I would be next but it would probably take another hour. Called the company again and they said no it's another technician that would be servicing. How can that be when I went up to the person personally? What gets me is what was he doing in his work van for 45 mins and possibly even longer. No apologies and no notice. I would not recommend them especially when they over charge! read more

I've been a customer for over 10 years, but I can no longer recommend. My last 5 service appointments have all had issues. Twice they cancelled on me the day of and have not arrived within the 4 hour window they provide. Today I had an 8-12 window, tech just showed up at 3:55. No respect for customers' time. Their techs are always nice, and the service is fine, but not worth the scheduling hassles. I regret paying the S250 annual service agreement and will surely explore other options for next year. read more

Furnace stopped working on Tuesday. Scheduled a service cal gir Wednesday. Technician found motor blower needed to be replaced. Sales rep quoted $4K to repair but recommended new multi function furnace for $7,700. Requested they get some heat or temporary fix. Told me the first appointment for installation was Saturday. I called multiple times for updates on the technician's arrival time. At 5pm I called and was told the technician would arrive at 630pm. I called back at 7pm and was told the manager Earl cancelled my appointment at 5pm because they didn't have the parts that were supposed to have been picked up the week before. No one called to tell me they didn't have the parts nor to tell me they cancelled my appointment. I waited over 7 hours. Earl went home for the day and no one could give me any answers on why I was never called or why the parts were never picked up. read more

I had a service contract with them. They came out to do my maintenance check in June. Mid July I had an issue where my tstat was not registering a cooler temp. I called for a service check and the 1st tech that came out made a diagnosis, never tried to fix it and left. I will cut to the chase here, 4 visits and $1200 later I was told my AC had a leak and had to be replaced. There was awful communication from the office and I got the run around for 5 days before I finally got fed up and called another company to replace my AC. I had two animals and THREE grandchildren in my house and they didn't care at all that it was almost 100 DEGREEES in my house. The service manager even told me they would refund part of my money but A MONTH later still nothing. I have called TWICE about this and am STILL getting NO WHERE with ME FLOW. Seasonal check up and inspection. Technician on site was 5 star. The method of scheduling and follow-up communication is so awkward, I would suggest using another provider. Fi you are a homeowner this one to one communication may work, but on a commercial property takes far to much call and message through a third party to be worth the trouble. read more

I had a1/3 Zoeller Sump Pump installed with Zoeller back up 11/28/2023 for $2,300. In checking I find the cost of the pump with back up is approximately $745. considering their labor charge $2,300 is EXCESSIVE. I find that my home needs a 1/2 HP sump pump. I spoke with their plumbing manager, Brandon Badura, & was quoted an additional $2,400. for a 1/2 HP sump pump. Brandon was courteous & professional but the price was EXCESSIVE. The sump pump I purchased 11/28/2023 (1/3HP) is perfectly good, however, it is not sufficient to pump the water & M F Flow should have measured & installed a1/2 HP sump pump. I see their ratings are only "1". I would like M E Flow to refund the money for the 1/3 HP sump pump installed in Nov. 2023. Further I would not recommend this company. I tried for 9 hour--from 12 noon to 9 pm--to contact their alleged 24-hour service. no response. My family has used this company since it was founded, but I have had it. When they show up, they are more interested in selling me stuff I don't want than in fixing the issue. IBD of their technicians asked to use my bathroom, then left his dirty, oily work cloth and took my towel! I have been warned about them, so this time I am going to listen. read more

I made a service appointment only to have them cancel minutes before the arrival time window and then they tried to reschedule me for the following week. I specifically called days before for this exact reason. I was referred by a family friend to use them. They also told me about the terrible scheduling. Will never know what they can do. What a disappointment! In December, 2025, my 6-7 yeart old Bradford White gas water heater was not providing hot water and i realized that the pilot light was not on. I reached out to several plumbing companies and M.E. Flow, highly recommended by a neighbor, was able to come and visit the next day. The representative who came on 12/24/2025 was nice and professional but said that the gas valve and burner were failling and he quoted a high cost for new parts as well as a whole new unit. I asked if it was covered under warranty and he said it expired in November 2025. I called Bradford White and they told me that the unit becomes out of warranty in December and that they always give 3 months post warranty expiry to accommodate for date of manufactured part and installation date variances. I left a message for M.E. Flow on 12/24/2025 and they never called back. I called back in January asking them to order parts under the manufacture warranty and quote price for install. No call back. I called again 2 days later and the plumbing manager called back and left a message stating he would call back at 2:00 pm. No call back. I called them and explained the entire situation, NO CALL BACK! Appears these folks are pushing products. Beware. read more

This is the most disorganized company we've ever worked with. We purchased Mitsubishi minisplits from them a couple years ago right when they merged with Air Plus. Was actually Air Plus who gave the estimate and we liked the product and that company. But ME Flow showed up for the install. We've since had ME Flow back out for maintenance of both the Mitsubishi and the HVAC system in the other part of our house and have been disappointed. The technicians themselves are good but the rest of the staff are disorganized, don't communicate well (they take messages but no one calls back, the tech puts a request in the system but no one looks at it, etc.), and they schedule service for times which no one shows up for and there's no communication about them being delayed so you miss a whole day of work only for them to show up that night. Unfortunately we have to stick with them since the Mitsubishis are under warranty with them but I don't recommend this company. And it doesn't matter if you have a membership (which we bought). I always thought ME Flow was reliable but very disappointed. ME Flow has serviced the HVAC so many times this year with problems so let me summarize. The system is fairly new-less than 5 years and is kept in good condition with a service contract. We first had a humidity problem with biological growth and had ME Flow came out to diagnose the problem and they suggested temp adjustment and purchase the air scrubber. Honestly, we were hesitant because it was a large purchase and didn't know if that would fix the problem. Still having problems, we had them come back out, and found that the duct work was not installed properly-which caused the system to freeze up and the fan stopped working. ME wanted to charge us $2000 for a new fan when it was their installation which caused it. Then after arguing over that, we finally got them to cover the fan cost, they wanted to charge us full price for the yearly service contract. We thought this is the worse customer service ever! Recently, we tried turning on the heat and the furnace would not kick on and ME Flow came back out and a wire was not connected. They wanted to charge us a service fee. We were like no way! Then again after this last visit, the heat will not come on again. Thermostat keeps clicking but does not trip the furnace to come on. This is just ridiculous. We have had nothing but problems with this company and system since they installed it. My husband tried several times to get a manager to call him and no one ever did! So now we have no heat for the first freeze in November and a toddler at home. Yeah! read more

Wow, the ratio of bad to good reviews really makes me thankful that M.E. Flow didn't give us an estimate. We called them to send a sales person to our home because we're looking to replace our aging furnace/AC unit. The salesperson did come, but over a week later, and M.E. Flow has ghosted us. They did send a survey by email, asking us how our experience was; obviously, we gave them a "sad face" (the response options on the survey were happy, sad, or neutral faces). I emailed them a couple of days ago, and they still haven't responded. We will spend our money with someone else. read more

My unit was negligently destroyed by another company. Giving up on them, I reached out to M.E. Flow and its honestly the highlight of my month. Alex from the Alexandria team came in during a busy week while on a commercial job to throughly assess the damage. After a significant diagnosis he spec'ed out accurately a new furnace. He was very patient and knowledgeable at explaining everything he saw and had very detailed opinion of exactly what needed to be done. Its pretty clear he loves his job and the people he works with at M.E. Flow. Seems to be big on knowledge sharing and teamwork which shows because the work is done quickly and effectively. Similarly, Mike, Gerson, and Erick on the installation team handled installing a brand new and more efficient furnace. Great job to Gerson and Erick who nailed a 1 hour delivery window (amazing) and promptly got to work swapping out my furnace with new technology and practices that were not around when my condo was built. They too were very patient as I had to be in a bunch of uninterruptible meetings while they were on site in my condo. I highly recommend them and M.E. Flow if you need help with your furnace. They were very courteous, communicative, and detail oriented from the time someone picked up my call through servicing my furnace. Thanks again! read more

Rude and bad customer service from Bethany Neville (M E flow customer rep), I purchased a brand new unit per their tech suggested last year. This year, the AC broke (leaking inside the unit), the heater broke during last winter also, it's a brand new unit. A long story short, I called twice in a same day but no help, I asked to give me the warranty information, Bethany kept telling (more like yelling with the bad attitude) me that she can't help me. Ma'am Bethany, there are so many great companies out there (who really care about their customers) and I won't be coming back to you. I don't need to be treated like that. Sean came out next day and was extremely helpful. My leaky faucet was under warranty so he looked up my model number (not even installed by ME Flow) and I was able to call Moen directly to get a new hose. He was just being helpful and pointed me in the right direction of a FREE repair which he didn't have to do. Next he replaced a broken garbage disposal which was why I made the service call AND in addition made a attempt to fix a defective, leaking vanity that no one would touch. Sean went above and beyond and I would highly recommend this company!! read more

ME Flow has done a number of jobs for me on different properties. One had a full HVAC and water heater replacement. Another had a water heater replacement and a third property HVAC and plumbing servicing with maintenance contract. Each project was done very professionally with good follow up. In response to the 6/22 update Heidi provided: 6/22: No they did not send over three different HVAC repairmen to the house! They only sent 1! Rather than send someone over at the initial visit, they just talked to us over the phone about something they never fixed. ME Flow is lying. My husband and I have been here all day, working from home, so I would know if someone from ME Flow came by as a follow up. You never checked to see if the unit was not installed properly, because you never looked under the insulation foam in the attic (it has not been moved - so you are truly lying about what service you provided). You made an assumption and then charged me $400 for an assumption that was incorrect. If you had sent over more than one person, I would not have a leg to stand on, but the fact that you are telling a bold face lie and still didn't fix the problem is what is making it worse. And not to mention the fact that Nate was rude and incompetent on the phone is an entirely different matter ,that you failed to address! Yelling and cursing your customers, that is how you treat people? Really? Refund me the money for service that was never received. read more

I was told they would arrive between 8 AM and 12 PM noon. They never arrive to 130 pm in the afternoon. I waited around for them for 5 1/2 hours. Only at 12 o'clock did they let me know they would be late. And then they said it would be 1230 to 1 o'clock. But that didn't happen. I am disgusted with them. I tried to give them a chance, but I can't continue with a company that doesn't care about customer service and customer satisfaction. If I were you, I'd find someone else. read more

I hired M E Flow to clean my furnace. They did a very poor job and way overcharged me.

Our Childcare Center in Alexandria has had a service contract with M.E.Flow since 2014. While the service has been great for the most part, a recent issue has us down on the company as a whole. During the scheduled service inspection of our units on 10/10/19, the technician made a note that our blower belts needed to be replaced. The belt replacement is included in and covered by our service contract but the technician noted that he did not have the belt on hand and would have to return to put them on. Needless to say, no one came back to replace the belts until it snapped on 11/13. Another technician then came out to replace the snapped belts and proceeded to charge us $307.95 for the same belt even though the notes from the inspection a month ago clearly showed that the belt should have been replaced then. I contacted the first technician that performed the inspection to verify the accuracy of the information from the October report and he stated that we were correct and we should not have been billed for the replacement since it should have been done at the time of the Inspection. He stated he would contact the office to get it fixed. Despite his efforts and several calls, we have also placed to the billing and accounting office, the bill remains uncorrected and M.E Flow continues to send us payment notices for a repair that should not have been necessary if they had just honored their own service contract and replaced the belts during the inspection as noted. The technicians are and have always been great but it's been a horrible experience with the office aspect of things. read more

They did not perform the work they verbally agreed to and then threatened to take me to court when I would not pay the full amount they requested because all the work was not done. Ended up settling out of court because I wanted to just be done with them. There are plenty of HVAC contractors in the area. You can do much better than this "organization". read more

Got a full new HVAC system from M E Flow 5 years ago. A few months ago my electric bills went up a lot. Once I noticed, I called M E Flow. They sent out a tech within a few hours (that's good). He determined that I either need a new capacitor or a new compressor. Compressor is really expensive, so he suggested the capacitor (so far, so good). Then the bad news. $450 to get and install the capacitor - not covered by the warrantee. These systems are supposed to last 10 to 15 years, you'd think they'd be rolling strong after just 5 years and the company would fix them if they weren't. I could understand a nominal service charge, but not $450. read more

I contacted them to inspect and service my tankless water heater. When I called the service center I was asked the model number and all specs of system. The appointment was scheduled and a technician came out. Once the technician arrived and inspected the unit, he began trying to sell me on a new unit that cost over $2,000 to install. The technician claimed my unit produced 3 gallons of hot water per minute and with a quick google search it does 9.5. He again try's selling me on getting a new unit and says there aren't any error codes so everything is fine it just need to be cleaned. I called the manufacturer and they had me run a few checks and identified multiple error codes with the burners not igniting. I called them back to come and fix what the manufacturer suggested and I was told "we don't know about these units and don't work on them." I was told to call someone else to come fix it. I was charged for them to do nothing then be told they don't work in these models and to call someone else. This is the most dishonest and unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. I would never use them or suggest them to fix anything for anyone. What a shameful company. read more

M.E. Flow replaced my water heater some months ago. They were great at that but apparently included a plumbing inspection to be performed at a later date. I thought they were coming to check on the water heater yesterday, but the technician informed me that it was for a full house plumbing assessment. I think it was really an opportunity to create business for themselves. After he finished, he stated that most of the water shut off valves in the house failed and toilets were running nonstop. We have nylon shut off valves that he must have stripped by doing a hard shut off. He informed me that we qualified for a discount since so many needed to be replaced. Now we do need to fix the toilets and shut off valves. None of the toilets were running nonstop prior to his visit. He quoted over $1000 to fix three toilets. We just spent $60 at the hardware store to fix the toilets ourselves. I am sorry I allowed the technician in my house. This wasn't the way we planned to spend the weekend. I won't be doing business with them again. read more
