I've been to M Grill twice, and I must say, this is my favorite Brazilian Churrascaria! It's located on the 2nd floor of the building. Take the stairs up from where the valet podium is. See if you can sit next to the window which is a great place to take pics of your food. Great natural lighting there. The staff provided excellent service and were attentive and very knowledgeable of the food and drinks. Beautiful dining areas and bar. M Grill has got the juiciest, flavorful meat. The salad bar has a great variety of refreshing salads and hot side dishes. My favorites are: Their aged picanha (garlic one is a must!), grilled pineapple (total must-have too and try with their sausage), tenderlicious beef ribs, and the roasted chicken thighs. For buffet sides, I really enjoyed their creamy yucca, smoked salmon, charcuterie items, and salads. Their cocktails are strong and delicious--gotta have the pineapple mojito! The reddish condiment on the table is so good but was pretty hot to me. If you can take the heat, try it, though I suggest to try a little bit first. It had my favorite fruit, papaya and the chilled shrimp and smoked salmon complemented nicely with all the red meats. The cheese bread on the table was irresistible too!. Nothing beats a FIRE AYCE feast, so MEAT me at @m.grill for their signature Brazilian grilled steaks! This was my first time ever trying out Brazilian BBQ, and I was blown away by how fun (and yummy) this concept was. @m.grill features a fully stocked, self-serve AYCE salad and soup bar, as well as over 15 different cuts of meat. All you have to do is put a card on your table indicating if you want/don't want meat, and the servers will come by with different freshly grilled steaks to cut them in front of you. My favorites were the signature 45 day dry-aged original and garlic picanha (probably requested this like 6 times LOL), ribeye, and strawberry salad. Don't forget to finish off the meal with their signature grilled pineapple as well! What I tried: spring blossom flan Irish coffee grilled pineapple strawberry salad picanha, garlic picanha, ribeye, bottom sirloin, bacon wrapped chicken breast, filet mignon, rack of lamb, pork ribs, chicken hearts I was so impressed with the high quality and rich flavors of all the steak cuts I tried, beautiful ambience and interiors (especially at night), and I definitely recommend checking this spot out for a special occasion! read more

Located in Koreatown, M Grill is a Brazilian BBQ (churascaria) that can basically meet any need of the carnivorous soul. I have gone here twice now, and they have been able to serve up some of the best cuts of meat from filet mignon to sirloin to shank, and also lamb chops. What I appreciate was that they were able to grill shrimp upon request and arrival that made for a great meal on top of everything that we had hoped for. They were kind and always coming around with options, providing us with nothing short of kind service, no matter which wait staff we flagged. While some options were undercooked, we were able to ask for more well done pieces and they were able to deliver when possible. This is what makes them a bit more better than any other Brazilian steakhouse that I have ever visited. Dreaming of the pineapple! They were closed for a bit for renovations and now open again. Came here for Valentine's but not on Valentine's Day ($$$ upcharge). Valet parking is $6. The first thing we got was delicious, unfortunately I didn't catch its name and did not eat it again. It was on the same skewer and below the top sirloin, but they called it something else? It looks like picanha and I swear they said that, but when I had the other picanha it didn't taste the same. Anyway, I have a picture and the crispy part of the fat was soo good! The pineapple was amazing! There's a sugar coating and when they slice all around it they return it to the kitchen to add more of the coating. It tastes like custard. I still think about her and I'm not even a pineapple fan. I miss her. Everything at the salad bar tasted underwhelming. The brussel sprouts... were not good. Stick to the meats honestly! We came by for a date night! Based on the rave reviews, my partner picked this spot and made a reservation. They were nice enough to seat us as soon as we arrived, even though we were half an hour early. :) I'd note here that service was across-the-board fantastic, from getting seated to ordering drinks to getting each round of meat and getting plates cleared/replaced. The people bringing by the meats were super quick and accommodating - we had multiple people check to see if there was something specific we were waiting for (which was indeed the case), and each time, they made sure that item came by our table soon after. Now, for the food: Filet mignon: the first was pretty tender, but the second time it came around, it was really dry - it seemd overcooked. :( Garlic picanha: I gave it 2 tries, and my partner gave it 3, but it was disappointing each time due to the texture (whether overcooked or just some tough/overly-chewy parts). Picanha: it was pretty plain, though the texture was ok. I've come to expect the fatty part of picanha to be well-seasoned and balanced with the meat, but it didn't really seem well-seasoned, so it was just fatty without adding more flavor, which I didn't love. Parmesan picanha: seasoned better than the above. It was solid and compatatively better than the picanha, but not as tender/juicy as I would have liked. Top sirloin: we did really like this one. The meat was pretty tender both times we had it! Rack of lamb: pretty good. It was tender and flavorful - I'm not sure what I was tasting, but it was herby, and I did like it! Pork ribs: It seemed pretty well-seasoned and relatively tender on the inside, but the outside was a bit hard to get through. Costelao: a bit dry - we didn't love it. Short rib: solid! Not super tender, but it did make me think, "yes, this is short rib meat." Smoked sausage: flavorful and juicy, but super salty, so definitely make sure you have some rice or veggies to balance it out. Garlic chicken thigh: pretty tasty - juicy meat, seasoned perfectly! Brazilian sausage: solid! Less salty than the smoked sausage. Grilled pineapple: great! It was hot, sweet, tender, and juicy, and there was a touch of cinnamon that made it even better. Just make sure you don't get a cut of the core lol Brazilian cheese bread: cheesy and chewy, but a little too salty for me. Not bad! Polenta (?): I wish I had started eating these when they were hot - they had a nice crunch on the outside. If you usually enjoy polenta, you'll probably like this. :) Salad bar: Honestly, we really just stuck to the rice and pickled onions to balance out our meat consumption. I did like the roasted garlic and plantains, but the various salads were pretty bland and the collard greens' texture and flavor didn't do it for me. I also didn't see any labels at the salad bar - it was mostly easy to figure out by looking, but it did seem odd. It's possible that I just couldn't see them? Whisky sour: solid! My partner enjoyed it! Not sure which mocktail I got, since we didn't see the drink menu ourselves, but per our waitress's recommendation, we added rum to it, and it was great! There was some lychee and pineapple in it, but I might be missing something. Overall, I think we were expecting better from the meats based on the great reviews that my partner saw for this spot and our experiences with other Brazilian steakhouses. I would have rated it a 3.5 if I could, but given the price point at $75/person, I put it at a 3. Note: There seems to be a valet parking lot, but we were able to find street parking! read more

We had reservations - were seated immediately. The waitress came to take our drink Orders immediately. The waitress come around every couple of minutes with the new type of meat. They cut slices when you're ready to have more. Honestly, they were a lot of different meats that I can't name them but they were goo. Their shrimp was excellent. They do have a valet parking lot for $6 but since it was Sunday, it was easy for me to find street parking. I enjoyed all the steaks though for the filet mignon, they are cut up in tiny pieces and I had to ask for two of them. Try to refrain from inhaling all of the cheese bread as they will fill you up and you'll be sad that you can't try all of the different varieties of meat. The cocktails are great too, but we are here to eat. The sides are a little bit hit and miss, but I'd rather them be inconsistent and have the meat be consistently good. No surprise that the Picanha is one of our faves as is the skirt steak. We don't venture into LA as much as we'd like but MGrill is certainly a favorite. read more

I do like my meat well done but I wouldve expected someone to come by with pineapple or cheese offerings as they were doing to other customers. IDK if it was because I was by myself so that was frustrating. Also some of the meats had fat just tacked on (which is great for developing flavor in the meat but a HORRIBLE mouth feel) for the amount of money I am paying I was surprised. Not sure if they even take walk-ins but I highly recommend getting a reservation here for a date night or something! Parking is valet in the back. Great food. I loooooove the pineapple here!! Literally the best. The meats are all very delicious and cooked well (not burnt or too hard). Very juicy cuts and so tender. For the salad/sides bar, highly recommend getting the creamed corn. It is so delicious. I also tried the creme brulee here and I really liked it! It was a nice finish to my meal. Service is attentive and the waiters with the meat are all nice. We dont usually splurge, we are basically creatures of habit and not considered foodies by any means. So this was a pleasant treat for us all. Kids included!!! I dont know where M Grill has been all my life, but damn. This place is bomb. My mom literally lives down the street and never knew this place existed until like last month when somebody told her about it and shes been wanting to try it out ever since. Boy was it worth it. Right when we sat down they just came one by one with a bunch of meat. Idk what I ate, I just knew I wanted more of everything they brought out. My oldest daughter, who runs on nuggets and fries, was happily eating everything (except the veggies. But at this price, I'm ok that she didnt lol). She actually wanted to try different types of meat! Dude. She doesnt do that at home. My youngest was happily eating too (but that's not uncommon) what did surprise me was she loved the lamb. I didnt think she would, but she kept eating it. And my husband. This man is so picky for such a non-foodie, but he wanted everything and more of it! I love hearing him say something tastes good!!! OOOH!!! The cinnamon pineapple tastes like Christmas!!! I freaking loved that. My husband didn't like it so I ate all of his too. My mom enjoyed her birthday dinner and almost had to be rolled out. This was a great treat for us all and the staff/servers were very sweet to my kids. M-Grill has officially been added to our "omg you gotta try this place out when you come visit" list. I took my boyfriend here to celebrate his birthday. I had only heard of Fogo de Chão for Brazilian steakhouse, but after some research, I decided on M Grill. I will now get to the point and say this was SO DELICIOUS. The meats were extremely, juicy, tender, and well seasoned. I loved how fast the people would come to lure tables and offer the meats. That being said, the services was amazing! Everyone was friendly and attentive. Food wise, their Picanha is to die for, especially the garlic one. The pineapple is super yummy as well. The salad bar is pretty big, though I didn't get much from there aside from the chimichurri sauce to dip the meat in, which is a game changer. Overall, the ambience is gorgeous. The inside is a complete opposite of the building outside. The lights were dim and romantic. They also give you a cute dessert for birthday! The last thing is that we were charged for water, which was a little strange. We weren't sure if they only served it in a glass or tap. But other than that minute detail, 10/10! read more

First off let me just state that I have dined at M Grill many times and think of them as the premier Brazilian Churrascaria in the LA area. The interior is very nice and modern with dim lighting that is perfect at night, especially with a window table. The bar is nice and well stocked with your favorite spirits. A great place to start the evening... For those that want a private dining experience, a private room is available. The room is a glassed off area in the corner of the restaurant. I'd call for information if interested for special occasions or corporate events. The exquisite flavor and quality of the meats, the perfect doneness, their impeccable service, and a wine list featuring wines from Spain and Portugal are the reasons I keep coming back. The cold bar has your usual Brazilian offerings, but my favs are the broccolini, peppers, and pickled onions. All are well prepared and as you would expect from a well run establishment. If you like spice, the red pepper sauce served on the table is a perfect accompaniment to the richness of the beef, chicken, lamb, pork, shrimp, and lobster (on this occasion, they gave each of us a lobster tail on the house). Again, service is always above expectation, somehow.... So for a lifelong rating....5 stars. On this particular occasion though, I have to give my favorite Churrascarria a 3.5 stars. The picanha (house special and garlic) was on point, but the rib eye and filet mignon was not seasoned enough and over done. The chicken heart was a tragedy as well. Two different overcooked spears even. Need I say the chicken hearts and the pepper sauce are what separates M Grill and Fogo, Texas, etc. So when I say tragedy, I mean it. This was a weeknight, and although it was a special occasion (anniversary), I can forgive. It was still a wonderful time. I will be back for that chicken heart. read more

Last night was my 2nd time dining at M grill and it was a fantastic experience! I went yesterday with a group for my best friend's birthday dinner and everyone enjoyed their food. The customer service was also excellent. The manager was very nice and surprised us with a bottle of Prosecco for my friend's birthday. All the waiters had great personalities and answered any questions that we had. Now let's get to the food. All the cuts of meat taste amazing. The food is well seasoned and tender! The salad bar is also fresh and tasty. There are so many options to choose from that you have to make a couple trips. I highly recommend this restaurant.
