I love having Ma Juicy because they're an actually unique "boba"/sweet treat spot in OC. If you don't know, pennywort juice is a health juice in Vietnamese culture, known for its cooling properties. It's extremely refreshing, and just really deliciously served with coconut juice.

Ma Juice I usually order pennywort juice mixed with fresh coconut water. The drink isn't too sweet, which I really like. Today I also ordered some hot tofu. The drinks are very refreshing and prepared very quickly. However, the staff weren't very friendly. My 4-year-old daughter needed to use the restroom, but the door wouldn't open, and the staff weren't very helpful. The place wasn't very clean. On the positive side, there's plenty of parking, which is very convenient. Food : 3/5 Service: 1/5 Ambiance : 2/5

Ma Juicy is a great cafe to grab some pennywort juice and some other drinks in the Westminster area. I've never tried pennywort juice before but this was a recommendation from my boyfriend's cousin so we had to try it out. On it's own, pennywort juice is not something I would gravitate towards but they have a variety of it mixed with different things. We got the pennywort juice mixed with taro/ube, coco milk, pandan jelly, and chia seed jelly. Once we mixed it, it was refreshing and delicious! The inside of the cafe was super clean and aesthetic and the service was friendly and fast. Definitely would stop by again if I'm in the area.

Soooo refreshing!!! It's great on a hot day especially during a heat wave. There's some seating inside to chill and relax. The space is bright and clean. And they'll offer samples if you're not familiar with how pennywort tastes like! The drinks came out quickly.

I'm blown away from how much I enjoyed the food and drinks here! It was a quaint little shop and the service was good as well. I was recommended the Roasted Wintermelon and the Chrysanthemum Tea. Both were so refreshing and delicious! The Roasted Wintermelon was unlike any other drink I've had! It was the perfect amount of sweetness, and I loved the Chia Seed Jelly in the drink, which i've never had anywhere else. The Giant Flattened Matcha Pistachio Croissant was so delicious too! I've never had something like it, and I really enjoyed this sweet treat. It tastes exactly like a croissant, but with more of a cracker crunchy texture when you bite into it. It was pretty affordable for the size of it. If I had to recommend a drink here I'd totally recommend the Roasted Wintermelon. I haven't been able to stop thinking about it actually!

What an innovative concept! My mother in law loves pennywort juice for its health benefits and Vietnamese desserts. This combines the traditional flavors of Che/dessert into a trendy drink form. It's delicious! I really like that there are new elements like Chia seed jelly and soursop tea. I love sour sop! Definitely a new favorite drink spot in the area. This particular Ma Juicy also has a nice modern muted aesthetic and friendly staff. The parking lot can be very busy though! There is some seating inside and while there is a small line, most people take to go. I've tried so far #4, #6, soursop tea, and roasted Wintermelon tea. I really like the taro sauce! Crunchy boba is agar boba. The Wintermelon tea was a perfect sweetness. I feel like other places have it too sweet even if I adjust sweetness.

I love Ma Juicy! I have been coming here since November 2024 when their Brookhurst/ Garden Grove Blvd location closed due to fire damage. This place is very unique and carries a modernized version of a drink I grew up with: pennywort or rau má in Vietnamese. The drinks are delicious and refreshing, and you can customize the ice and sugar level to your liking. Pennywort is a great medicinal herb which helps detoxify the liver, brighten your skin, help you sleep, and reduce stress. I come here almost weekly, and I feel refreshed every time! My favorite drink is the #12- pennywort juice/ube combination with coconut milk, pandan jelly, and chia seed jelly. I also like the #6- pennywort juice/mung bean with coconut milk, pandan jelly, and chia seed jelly. I have also had the P2- large 24 oz pennywort juice. They also sell wintermelon tea with chia seed jelly which is delicious as well. I would like to try their soursop and chrysanthemum tea in the future. They also have a sugar cane and fruit juice mix available. There is seating inside and it is a good place to study or catch up with friends. Stay thirsty!

Every time I entered Today's Plaza, my attention always went straight to the crowd magnets near the entrance: on the right, the ever-popular Vietnamese coffee joints Bake & Che and Da Vien Coffee, and on the left, the traditional dessert spot Thạch Chè Hiển Khánh Dessert House, which always have people spilling out the front. But this time, just about 50 meters straight in, I spotted a new-looking Vietnamese drink shop that I hadn't noticed before -- Ma' Juicy! 9651 Bolsa Ave Suite A, Westminster, CA 92683 What really caught my eye? A sign outside advertising A perfect pair looks like Chinese -style sesame flatbreads (shao bing) and youtiao (fried dough sticks) to me which are not something I usually see at a Vietnamese tea shop. The interior looked super clean and well-kept. After some quick Googling, they have other locations too so I decided to check it out. But then came the menu struggle because everything on the little table menu was written entirely in Vietnamese, and while there was an electronic screen with English menu, the font was too tiny for us to read (forgot to bring the glasses) so I just went with the classic method: ask directly. I pointed to the perfect pair I saw on the sign outside and the staff told me they also had freshly made soy milk today, and even poured us a small cup to try. It was pretty decent! But the sesame bread on display didn't look super appealing, so I passed on that. Then I asked if they had egg coffee, and they said they actually don't sell coffee drinks here. I noticed this green drink labeled "#6" on the screen and asked what it was. Again, they poured us a sample -- it had that earthy, healthy flavor because it had pennywort (rau má) in it! Here's what we ended up ordering: #6: Rau má đậu xanh sữa dừa - $7.90 Pennywort + mung bean + coconut milk + pandan jelly) #31: Ceremonial Matcha Latte - $6.50 This was the only thing I could read on the screen so I went for it. We can customize the sugar and ice levels, which is always a plus. The staff was really friendly and patient. The interior design is chic with cozy vibe and good spacing between tables (love that!). Even the bathroom was clean with passcode needed. Overall, a solid new find! Might come back again to try other drinks.

Best place for pennywort juices and tofu If you're wandering through Westminster and need a refreshing reset, Ma Juicy is an absolute staple. It manages to strike that perfect balance between traditional Vietnamese flavors and a clean, modern vibe.

This is great juice place. I like the juice but guy that serve me was unfriendly and unaccommodating. If a new customer bought a drink and then afterwards realized there is a buy2get1, you should accommodate instead of sticking to rules are rules you have to buy it in one purchase. Then I bought more only then did he offer to add phone number to get free drink after so many purchases. Did he think to add the first drink. Of course not. That purchase was considered past history like the dinosaurs. Despite that hiccup I give them 5 stars bc I'm not that customer that drops stars for small matters. I love Rau Ma (Pennyworth) in general and was excited when I saw this place open shop. I've tried the durian mix, ube, and plain. I love all three but the plain pennyworth is my go-to for simplicity. far left: Matcha w/ pink sea salt foam and oat milk, I liked this drink a lot, it was very unique but I do recommend adding a bit more matcha for more of the matcha flavor but I think it's still really good. The drink next to the matcha is either #20 or #7 I cannot tell the difference but they're both really good! I love sugar cane and was excited to try this place but it was not as excepted. First sip got me confused because I got sugar cane with kumquat and it tasted like orange juice. I could not taste any sugar cane in it, maybe it was just some strong kumquat that took away the sugar cane flavor. I wanted something refreshing to drink before work and was in the plaza so I stopped by. I am glad I did! I never knew you can do so much with a pennywort drink. Of course I had to try their pennywort to start with. Their menu is large so there is plenty to choose from. I will definitely come back to try more! Ambience was nice. They played vpop and had a few tables and chairs to sit on, study and wait. Service was great too my drink came out in couple of minutes. Probably will try less sweet next time but definitely coming back to try other drinks! read more

Doesnt like the customer service. Cashier does not clearly explain the promo . The promo signage outside the store is misleading to customer bc when we come inside and order, the cashier did not provide any additional info about the promo until we asked for it, then he told me i had to order this and that to get that promo. Obviously there are no other signs in the store saying i have to order the combo to be qualified for that promo. Then when im ready to order the free drink, that cashier stopped me and said ohhh you cant get this you only get this. Their drinks are just oh my god. I've tried 3 drinks here, the rau ma and milk tea and jasmine tea. Ok the drinks were good already, but can we talk about the boba and toppings here?!?! The honey boba is just perfect, this is the place that have the perfect texture/sweetness boba to my liking. It's so soft and chewy and warm. Very disappointed even never tried this store before. Came from norcal wanna give it a try, arrived at 9:43pm yelp says closed at 10pm. When I came, the sign Open is still on, there is a guy sweeping the floor, and the door is closed. He signaled me that they are closed. Then turn off your open sign. It's obviously more than 15mins before closing time. Bet this store is not run by the owner. You either change your operating time or maintain the time you posted. Haven't tried the drink yet but the first impression is bad. No thanks! read more

I'm a regular at Ma Juicy, visiting once a month or so to grab beverages for my family. However, in my last two visits, I encountered an issue - the drinks weren't tightly sealed, causing spills in my car or house when I shook them. Despite this, I genuinely enjoy the drinks.
