    Fried Calamari appetizer!
    Pat M.

I was last at MaBella's about 4 years ago when I met my son for lunch. It left a really good impression, so last night I went there again with my son and daughter-in-law. It was even better this time! This is a small place in a strip mall on Commack Rd. The inside was really nicely decorated with Valentines Day not too far away. There's a nice bar on the right with seating to the left. We started off with appetizers of calamari and capellini cakes. Both were good, I liked the fried calamari better of the two. Our meals ranged from my Frankie's Veal Scaloppini, to my son's Bella's Scarparella, to his wife's Eggplant Parmigiana. All the meals were excellent, I thought the veal was very well prepared. Even though we had a reservation, we still had about a 10 minute wait, but the owner was very apologetic and accommodating. She also stopped by at our table to make sure we were satisfied. All in all, a very nice dinner out at a place I recommend checking out!

I was staying at the Hampton Inn, and found this place 9 minutes away from Yelp. Definitely would come back. Everything was great and reasonably priced.

The absolute best! Incredible service. Delicious food. Lovely ambiance. This is our family's favorite Sunday supper spot. Sorry for the photos we ate too fast!

I got the chicken bisentino with vegetables. It was quite tasty. The vegetables were mostly zucchini tho. The place was very cute and had a nice ambiance to it. The staff were very nice but not always there to refill drinks and ask of everything was ok. We also got the meatballs as an appetizer which was very soft and tender, but I felt it lacked some flavor.

    The kids! :)

We had a large birthday luncheon for my mom this past Sunday and it could not have been better. It was all of our first time there on a very trusted recommendation! The table was set beautifully. The food was fantastic. Maria is an expert at her craft! All of our servers, especially Brianna, were wonderful. Everyone was so kind and caring. Our guests raved about it and we will all return. I cannot leave without saying that the stuffed zucchini flowers were such a treat! Can't wait to return! xx

Customer service was great and the food was of good quality. Only thing is that the pasta was very oily, something like turned me off.

Wasn't happy with the quality of the food. The chicken had a ton of grizzle and the sauce was acidic.

The restaurant was quiet when we came in but a few more entered after we were seated. For $12, you can get a soup or salad and a half panini or hero. I opted for the tortellini brodo and the eggplant parm. I mean, the amount of tortellini in the soup was a bit weak. The stracciatella or salad may be a better bang for your buck. However, the broth was good and baby girl liked it. The eggplant parm was also very tasty. Service was warm and friendly. Be advised Gino's is in the Trader Joe's parking lot so parking can get a bit hairy especially on the weekends. Mangia and happy 2023!

Then the order is sitting in the counter and im just standing waiting there instead of them having common sense and see thag people are waiting for food. All they need to do is ask who order what to keep the food pick up moving along. I arrived home and I get A loaf of bread on top of a take out food catching bacteria. How unprofessional! Never again going to order from this place. I'm officially going to Mario's Pizza on Commack RD.

I asked one of the waitresses his name as I was leaving. He was so polite dealing with the customers around me as I was waiting. I was astonished how someone could be so pleasant, especially in the evening dealing with all those customers. He even asked if he could carry out my food, as busy as it was. I don't usually write reviews unless the person is exceptional and this gentleman showed every aspect what a great assistant manager should be like. We need more people like him in the service industry.

I guess it wasn't clear, someone who was a regular, then told me that those drinks were not going to be $5. Next round we ordered a vodka soda with a little cranberry and a vodka lemonade, this time I made it a point to ask if those were included and he said yes. We also ordered a small pizza and a flatbread that had artichoke. Both were good, nothing special. Fun place to hang out for happy hour!
