This was their brunch dessert selection. One little item.

Lately I feel like I am overly harsh with my reviews, but then again the cost of dining out has increased and the quality has slipped. Here are my expectations. Competent service and hot properly prepared food and value for my dollar. Went for Sunday brunch, we were greeted and prompt seated. Our waitress came over took our drink order and explained what they had for brunch she was friendly and provide great service while we were there. Now for the not so good. Every item on the buffet that was suppose to be hot was not. Sausage cold, potatoes cold pancakes cold, pasta cold, fish cold, the only item that was at proper temperature were the made to order omelets and again the chef was very professional and friendly. Even the " we also have a selection of deserts" was a selection of one type of tiny coconut brownie?. Also I noticed what seemed like a couple managers walking around dressed like they were working in a garage and not a restaurant, also watched one of them reprimanding staff in front of guests. Even though the FOH staff were friendly and offered attentive service, we won't be back. Cold food and bad management doesn't deserve another chance.

Pulled Pork

Great waiter, large space with lots of seats. The fries are AMAZING and the pretzel with beer cheese really stood out. Lots of options on the menu and fun cocktails.

Came during the breakfast/brunch buffet. I was hoping to order from the regular menu as I was a little disappointed with my last visit here- I wanted to give it another try. Watery eggs, soggy bacon, flavorless French toast. I could go on... I did try the S'mores cocktail and it was so strong, I kind of lightened up about my underwhelming breakfast. Won't be back tho

Love the people here, but the food is pretty much college junk food.

Here on a Monday after noon, quiet. Lots of empty booths and tables, been waiting over 45 mins since we ordered for 2 omelets.

Are there bottomless mimosas here? I've heard this but can't confirm.

I don't think bottomless drinks are allowed in Mass as far as I know

Came to McGonagles on a Friday evening before we had to attend a wedding. We wanted to grab a bite…read moreto eat and a drink as we weren't sure what the spread was at the wedding. We were advised light snacks so figured we should probably get a base before heading that way. We walked in to the coolest Irish pub that opened up in the back. It was way bigger than I expected. We quickly ordered drinks and I ordered a Moscow mule (my go to). It was in a copper mug and absolutely delicious. My husband ordered a beer, which he enjoyed too. We ordered some oysters and corn ribs for an appetizer. I had never had corn ribs before and was pleasantly surprised. My husband and I split the fish and chips and I'm really glad we did. The fish was extremely large and almost filled the plate. It was crispy and delicious. It was definitely well made. The sauce on the side was even better, too. Highly recommend this place for a quick bite and a pint.

Super relaxed atmosphere and tv's, so it would be a great place to watch a game. Friendly bartender and the fish and chips was good. They also have pizzas that looked great. My friend had a pesto with burrata and she said it was awesome. They also have gluten-free pizza, whihc is good to know. Our table neighbor had the pork chop, which also looked great. They have a small parking lot, which would fill up quickly. We went on a very "off" time, so we were able to park in that lot. Otherwise, you'd need to find street parking.

Friendly service in a cute little pub style bar/restaurant. Lots of TVs so we could watch the FIFA game and there was live music. Nice menu with variety and a full bar. We got the fried pickles appetizer which was pickle stackers, different from most fried pickles but delicious! Then we had the poutine with brisket and I had the special, a seafood stuffed sole with fingerling potatoes and asparagus. Absolutely delicious!

Bar seating was filled with most of the adjacent tables-for-two taken. We were more interested in a booth. Ample comfortable booth seating past the bar. Our waitress was exceptional. She guided us through the ample side dishes (for entrees) and explained the nuances of the Cider on tap. My friend ordered steak tips with mashed potatoes. I ordered turkeys tips with a side salad. We both ordered the (hard) Cider-served in a tall pint glass. We started with a basket of homemade chips. We both enjoyed our entrees (and took some of the steak tips home.) These are healthy-sized portions. The Cider was memorable. Chocolate cake for dessert was delicious (and more than two of us could finish.) Prices here are very reasonable. Ample free parking in front of the restaurant. We were the only people seated in a booth (we arrived at 5 pm) and with a full bar we could not hear any voices coming from the bar. I think we were the only non-regulars; I plan to become one!
