This place is a scam. I tried calling their public phone number, emailed them, and now I'm leaving a review so others are aware. Over a month ago, I came here and paid $21 for a single wash. A young male employee approached me and said there was a promotion: if I paid $21, I'd get one month free. I even confirmed with him, asking, "So I can come back anytime within the next 30 days?" He said yes. He then took out a clipboard and asked for my name and phone number. At no point did he mention anything about a monthly membership. If he had, I would have refused, since I was only two weeks away from moving out of state. A month later, I was charged $35.99. It seems like they collect your information and sign you up for a membership without your consent. When I tried calling their phone number, it just led to an AI system that doesn't understand basic requests. It feels like they're avoiding actually speaking to customers or resolving issues. I came here last Sunday for a car wash to try them out. I brought them a VERY dirty car outside and had the Deluxe Wash and it cleaned it pretty well. It did not get all the yellow bird poops off but I was easily able to get them off with my towel. Now keep in mind, this is a typical short tunnel self--drive through gas station car wash. There are not a lot brushes in there. BUT they were able to achieve a quality wash because they ran my car though very slowly, used newer spinning brushes, and lots of soap. If they sped it up or used worn down brushes--the wash would not be good because it's too short a tunnel. I posted the menu--the cheapest wash is $9.00 but really it should be $6.00 and the $16.00 Deluxe Wash should be $10.00. Those are my value prices. But the folks that work here--and I talked with a couple of them were very friendly and helpful. I was glad to see that. After you get out of the wash there are about maybe 7 vacuum stations--one was out of order. There were 3 cars ahead of me waiting for a station and one guy with a white Tesla I posted photos of was there for 15 minutes before I got a space waiting, was there for my 10 minute vacuum, and still there with no sign of leaving when I pulled out. He could have been there for 45 minutes to an hour total in a space that has a sign that says: 10 minutes. You are supposed to vacuum your car and pull out and there are other spaces to park to do the rest of your detail. No one from the car wash wanted to tell him to leave because he has disabled license plates even though he was jumping around the car like a bunny. So if it is busy here--you may have to wait for a vacuum. Vacuums have medium suction--not too strong, but enough to get most particles. In sum, if your car is dirty this is a fine place to get the dirt off--don't expect your car will look like a hand wash and wax even on the top wash. Other things to keep in mind is that the most expensive wash for $19.00 includes an automated spray on tire shine that I avoid like the plague because it attracts dirt that sticks to the wheels, gets in the brake rotors, and those chemicals weaken the rubber and can cause a blow out. I would eliminate machine spray on tire shine from all car washes--there is nothing safe about it--it really should be illegal because it causes a safety issue. Last, to get a wash here--just drive into the driveway entrance and you can pay with your credit card at the machine around the back and it lets you in. I came here about once a month or two for a car wash. One day, I came, and they said I had a monthly membership. I did NOT sign up for monthly car wash services. I told the worker that I did not sign up for monthly car washe. She told me that I am on the list. I did not see any charges on my credit card statement, so I figured that it was some kind of error. Today, I got a charge on my credit card for their monthly car wash. For $35. I never once signed up for this. I didn't not ever sign up for a monthly car wash subscription. Every single time the workers asked me, I would say "NO THANK YOU" because I don't wash my car here enough to justify the cost and I am suspicious of monthly subscription services. I never signed any paperwork nor did I ever ask for a monthly service. Yet here I am, with a $35 charge on my credit card. Now I have to deal with the headache of calling this organization (if they even have a phone number) and if they don't, I have to go through the headache of going through my credit card to dispute the charge. I didn't ever sign up for a monthly car wash subscription. I feel scammed and upset. I have to work full time and take time out of my day to deal with this, and I never even signed up for it. I will never go here again for a car wash unfortunately. Edit: I called the business and I was stuck talking to an AI robot. No way of talking to a human whatsoever. No clear way to cancel this charge. I am very upset and feel SCAMMED for my money. I always said "NO" to a monthly membership. Now I have to take time out of my day to go in person to see if this can be removed, and I have to deal with my credit card. I received a mass text on Christmas Eve announcing that the Irvine location was open on Christmas Day from 8AM-4PM (see my screenshots). The location was clearly closed with an orange cone blocking the car wash entrance when I arrived at 8:30AM on Christmas Day. Who doesn't love a free grand opening car wash? I headed today to take advantage of the flyer i got in the mail for the car wash near my house. I think my wife told me 27 times that we had a free car wash, so I finally decided to drive down and get it done today to make my life easier. Driving up there was zero signage about any car wash whatsoever. There is literally one cone on the right side of the gas pumps leading you to you where you need to go. If you haven't been to car washes like this before you would probably turn around and go somewhere else since you would have no idea there's a car wash. I'm not sure how this normally goes. There's a huge screen with lots of options, but there was a lady standing there who took my flyer and sent me on my way but before she did, she handed me a fresh new microfiber towel to dry off my car when I was done which I talk to super cool. The funny thing was there's no place to throw your towel in when you're done I guess you were just supposed to keep it. So once you get out of the car wash and pull into a stall with the vacuums, there is also an air pressure thing that you could squirt all the excess water out of the hard place is to reach with a heavy dose of air. Definitely my favorite tool I've ever used in a self serve car wash. There is also a mat clip so you can pull your mats out and put them up on his flat surface and vacuum up. I thought it was pretty nifty. All in all great program especially if you get the unlimited carwashes every month it'll be interesting to see what this place looks like With all the people living nearby getting unlimited carwashes every month and how busy it will be during the busy season. This car wash sucks. I just paid $14 for a super wash and their machine barely cleaned my car, and the blower is so weak it left the entire side and rear of my car wet. My car wasn't even that dirty after all the rain. Then I parked at the vacuums and found that all of their air compressors are not working. So I had to hand dry my entire car with a small towel that I carry. What a complete waste of time. You're better off washing your car at home or going to any other location. read more

Free car wash until the 25th for grand reopening :). I saw they had hand-wash? Vacuum? Stations outside( not sure what they are). The wait is a bit slow as it requires a qr code scan to be completed before you go in. It's right by the circle k gas at the Woodbridge center, a drive through one. This was my first time and it was a wonderful experience. The staff are all nice and directed me for my first time on how it works. You drive up slowly, go on the ramp, put it on neutral and then it's hands free! They are offering a deal for the membership that the first month is $10 for any kind of wash. My car came out super shiny, even the wheels were cleaned! The only thing is that I had dots of pollen/sap/bird poop on my car and it seems not strong enough to Scrub it off. I'm not a car person so I'm not sure if that would damage the paint or something. If you car is relatively clean & needs that extra shine it seems to do well. But it was a rewarding experience :). read more

This has been a fun location where I get my car washed if I'm not washing my car myself. The location is great as the vicinity is very spacious, and has many vacuum stations after the wash. Depending on the dirt that's on my car I know not all will be washed with the machine compared to a human scrubbing but this will do at least the basic necessity of cleanliness. Note: if you have tree debris and saps, it won't come off as easily with one wash so keep that in mind if you see your hood or roof still with those stubborn sticky debris afterwards. Anyway, my main concern is with these type of car washes is the potential dents or scratches it may do to your car because of the machine however this one hasn't done anything bad to my vehicle so this is still the go-to when necessary. read more

New car wash next to the Shell station and Circle K. When you enter that area, head to the far right to get in line for Magic Brush. Quick and clean wash with several stalls to self vacuum or dry your car off afterwards. When we got there at 8:30pm on a Saturday, there was a slight wait for the wash, but a longer wait for the vacuuming stalls. The vacuum itself was pretty strong, the air dryer was helpful (bring your own towels), and they have a place for you to hang your mats. My one star isn't for the actual service and car wash itself. It's convenient, gets the job done and the employees are all very nice. My issue arises with cancelling my monthly deal and I seem to not be the only one. I didn't initially want to do their monthly deal but seeing as the cheapest option at the time of $9.99, I said why not. I saw a charge on my card today for $26.99 and it seems like any efforts trying to call or email by other statements end no where. The ridiculous part is that I never gave my email when I purchased the deal, only my card info and phone number but yet the only option accessing my account is with an email. Which again, I never gave. I was sent a text to access my account but it just leads me to their login screen. I'm hoping to resolve this through Yelp since I guess that's the only way people are getting an answer from the owner. I would like to continue using magic brush but if I'm pretty much being locked into a subscription that I have no way of cancelling, then consider me out. read more

The only way I've gotten my money back is disputing it with my credit card company. I see this is a common problem with all of the other Yelp reviews. Like other customers already posted their frustrations on Yelp, the monthly service that Magic Brush Express offers seems to be poorly managed, if not a scam. I signed up for the $19.99 a month service, but all of a sudden, I noticed that they were charging me $26.99 instead. When I brought this to the attention of the employees, they claimed it was due to a computer glitch and that I was not the only one who had complained about it. Furthermore, canceling the monthly service was an absolute nightmare. Despite being told to leave a note so that someone could call back, I never received a call. Later I also sent emails to the email address provided, info@magicbrushexpress.com, but received no reply. Again when I complained to the employees about the lack of response, they admitted that I was not the only one experiencing this problem. This level of disregard for customer concerns is simply unacceptable. To make matters worse, I noticed that they were charging another $19.99 every month on my credit card for no reason. This made it clear to me that this business is either very poorly managed or, worse, a scam, and as a result, I had to cancel my credit card to stop being charged. That was the only option I had to get out of this problem. I have not seen this kind of business practice in Irvine. I am deeply frustrated with my experience at Magic Brush Express, and I strongly advise against signing up for monthly car wash service. In my experience, the employees are unable to help with cancellations or unexplained charges. no one checks the messages or emails. Despite the owner's reply to other customers' complaints on Yelp, "Please reach out to our management team at info@magicbrushexpress.c... so we may resolve your issue promptly"??? That is the email address that no one replies. My experience has shown that no one checks those emails, and there is no follow-through on customer concerns. There is a lack of communication and accountability within the business. If you are looking for a reliable and trustworthy car wash center, I suggest looking elsewhere. I first came to Magic Brush Car Wash when it opened only because I needed to get gas by the station they were located with. They were offering free cloth towels and free car washes to customers on the opening day. My experience was great as my dusty poor car was in need of a car wash. Just 2 days ago, I went back for a carwash and apparently they had a special event going on. $9.99 for the first month and then the regular price after! I was also surprise to get another free car wash because I was the next lucky person who received a carwash according to the attendant and machine! Every time I come have my car washed, I'm always happy of the outcome. The vacuums on site have strong suction and are very easy to use. If your car gets dirty fast or you hate to pay for a single use, definitely get their plans! It's totally worth it! read more

Do not go.  The service is the worst.  On Saturday night, the male staff kept me waiting for a long time.  I chose what to buy and went to the cashier, but he said another customer didn't finish  shopping because they hadn't finished purchasing yet. The customer in front of me was someone he knew, so he didn't seem to have any intention of talking and paying, and was just enjoying talking with the customers.  I wanted to ask his name, but he seemed very busy talking with the female customers.  I lose my time... Came here for the free car wash during the grand opening week. Great promotion. Staff was super friendly and the wash was decent but the car was still very wet after going through the wash. Another issue I had was there wasn't enough stalls to vacuum after so I had to wait 20 minutes to get an available stall. It was nice that they gave a rag to wipe down your car after.
