Galaxy Table! Loving the environment & as being a first time visitor, made a great first impression! Star Fire was our waitress & did amazing! Absolutely will be back!

The food was good the fam had burgers and fries. Love the unlimited salad bar. The service was good everyone there was dressed as a fictional character and they played the part, very entertaining. The prices are a little high and their menu is very limited but you will have a fun time. The decor is awesome.

Chicken Alfredo, bacon burger, Pepsi, potion drink (non-alcoholic).

Food was great. Thor was amazing!! Wait was about 30m about 2 hrs before close which was understandable. Everyone was friendly even the girls at the front.

Broken furniture where we were seating. Sticky dirty floor, musky smell, hot like a sauna room!!

(1 Star) My family and I visited The Magic Time Machine in Addison recently, and I have to say I was incredibly disappointed. We had been here years ago (around 2012), and back then it was a fun, memorable experience. Unfortunately, it has declined dramatically. The restaurant honestly feels like it needs to be featured on Restaurant Rescue. The building is in desperate need of maintenance and deep cleaning. The first thing we noticed was the smell. Then there was the heat--it was actually hotter inside the restaurant than it was outside. I'm not exaggerating when I say I felt like I was going to pass out. It made it difficult to enjoy the meal. Our table wasn't just slightly uneven--it wobbled from every angle. The furniture throughout the restaurant looked old, worn out, and in need of replacement. The carpet felt sticky under our feet, which immediately made the restaurant feel unclean. The restrooms were even worse. They were absolutely disgusting. Only one stall was working, and somehow it was even hotter in there than in the dining room. It was an experience I'd rather forget. The food was another disappointment. The fries tasted like standard frozen fries you could buy at any grocery store. The bread didn't arrive until the end of the meal, and to make matters worse, it was wrapped in a napkin instead of being served properly. Even the butter tasted like it had just come out of the freezer. One of our plates was dirty, which completely ruined my appetite. The only bright spot was our waitress. She was kind, attentive, and genuinely did her best despite the condition of the restaurant. She deserves credit because she was working in a very difficult environment. Overall, the poor upkeep, lack of cleanliness, uncomfortable temperature, and disappointing food made this one of the worst restaurant experiences I've had. It's unfortunate because this place has so much potential, but it desperately needs renovations, better maintenance, and much higher cleanliness standards. I won't be returning, and I truly hope management takes these concerns seriously because the restaurant is no longer living up to the reputation it once had. I've attached a photo showing some of the worn and damaged furniture so others can see what I'm referring to.

Magic Time Machine It's no surprise that the food was just ok. I will still recommend it. We had a fantastic memorable time. If you have kids under 10 years old, you've gotta stop by here at least once. The outside and foyer look sketchy. The decor was old and a bit dingy. The upstairs looked like it had been closed for quite a while. I see other reviews say there's magic show upstairs. I did not see anything about that. When we were there, the air-conditioning was out in August but they had a lot of fans around and it was stuffy, but bearable. Surely this is a temporary issue. Each table has its own theme, Christmas, pirates, crayons, Star Wars, western and more. The staff was dressed up and did a great job of making things fun and memorable. I highly recommend you take the cheesy photo. It was hilarious! They also had a guy walking around making balloon animals and crowns. Kids will enjoy dressing up in princess dresses, Superman whatever. My husband was pleasantly suprised at our total bill. I'm thankful that this place still exists. It's just great to have a child centered fun night out. It's a Dallas kids must do imo.

This is where we were seating, floor was dirty and sticky and the furniture broken plus wobbly.

"The Roman Orgy" minimum of four ordering for $19.99 each. Delicious and large portions.

I came in with a large birthday party, and we had the best time! Service is fantastic (shout-out to Wednesday! Committed to the character and she was so funny and attentive.) Our food was so tasty, I highly recommend ordering the "Roman Orgy", it has a generous portions of various menu options. The interior is so neat, detailed to the core, and charming to the max. It has the nostalgic feel of a mom n' pop restaurant with a themed twist. If you're coming in with a large group, be ready to wait-but it's worth it.

    Chicken Parmesan noodles weren't cooked

Pros and cons: We arrived at 6:25 Saturday night knowing there would be a wait. When arriving we were told an hour. We stood in line to have the kids face drawn. We were there about 45 minutes waiting because he had a long line of people. No problem. I got a text at the end of that 45 minutes saying they were unusually busy and that it would take 2 1/2 hours instead of an hour. I immediately went to the front desk and asked if that was correct, and I was assured by three different people that it was their Yelp app that it was incorrect. So reassured we went upstairs to the magic show, we wasted money in the arcade room, which was just claw machines and we waited an additional 35 minutes in order to get one drink at the bar because there was no bartender and then there was a long line once they did come back. At this point, we were over an hour and a half in so I went back downstairs and asked and I was told that it should be about another 15 minutes.. long story short it took 2 1/2 hours in order to eat in. Obviously, there was something wrong because people that were after us by significant amount of time were already eating their food before we were even sat. Then when we were sat, we waited for the young girl that was dressed up like Andy off of Toy story to come even take our drinks for another 25 minutes. We patiently waited so my daughter could experience what I got to experience as a kid. Frustrated already we immediately gave her our drink orders and appetizers. Bar drinks took about 30 minutes to get. And we had asked to go ahead and place our order. From start to finish we were there over four hours and 10 minutes. At the point of leaving, I asked for our ticket. She said she would return right back. So my husband and daughter got up and walked out. I sat there patiently waiting and after 20 minutes, asked for somebody to get her. I did not see her walk around at all as I was standing up. She finally came back after 35 minutes with the ticket and me asking three different people to get her. She apologize for her lateness ran my card and I left. I would love to share that our experience was great, but it was far from that. This place is absolutely disgusting. The tables are sticky, the carpet is old and run, there's fans blowing air everywhere because they have terrible circulation in there. The place smell smells like musty mildew. This is not the time magic machine that I remember as a kid. As for the food, my husband got the chicken Parmesan and it left flavor and the noodles were hard. They were not cooked properly. My chicken tenders or blah no flavor. The french fries were ice cold. My daughter's cheeseburger was cold and the cheese would not even melt. The artist there is very talented. My daughter did enjoy the drawing ten dollars per face and the magic show which is an additional three dollars per person. The bar drinks were terrible. All and all I will never return in. This is not the same place as when I was a kid and they have done no renovations. I'm surprised that they haven't had the health department actually come in and shut them down to make them do repairs. As for some of the other waitresses and staff, some of them were very enthusiastic and into their costume

My in-laws were visiting from out-of-town, and a friend had recently recommended the Magic Time Machine. Our experience was an absolute delight. Our waitress was Tinkerbell, and she was so much fun! And Luigi had my husband in tears from laughing so hard after a brief interaction at our table. The balloon artist is a true artist who holds multiple world records. And we were delighted by the magic potions and the Salad Car. Our food was delicious as well. This restaurant is not for folks who take life or dinner too seriously. But we had a wonderful time, great food, and everything was very reasonably priced. My in-laws are still talking about how much fun it was!

    Wednesday , Erica and Abedah

Me and my bestie celebrated her birthday here today and my late birthday and we had a blast. Thor and Beetle Juice were our favorites but Wednesday was our server and she was really cute too! We loved our interactions with those 3 and the caricature artist was amazing with our picture as well. Food was good! We went as adults and loved that the waiters gave us as much attention and playfulness as they did with the kids elsewhere in the restaurant. 5 star. - Abedah Ritchie

Ambiance is amazing! The actors stay in character and the food is delicious. We had Steve from Minecraft as our server. He took amazing care of us and sang to my son, Lava Chicken®™ for his Birthday! Thank you so much for making Jason's 9th Birthday memorable!

I can't strongly recommend JOEY and I'm really not sure what's happening here. The reviews are high…read morebut the execution didn't live up to the hype. I ended up only ordering a drink and an appetizer because I was so disappointed I didn't want to go further. $23.75 Joey Martini - just a simple dry vodka martini w Kettle One. But the description lured me in with the promise of a fantastic martini with an "extra martini on the side". What I received was a half of a martini with the rest of my martini in a shaker next to it. The martini was fine but nothing special. Not the first time I've overplayed for a drink but I do feel a little funny about the way their menu sold me then undelivered. $19 Hummus - The food was an issue for me though. When I order Hummus, I expect to receive hummus. Like the dish should be 70-80% hummus with some light toppings and some good pita bread. What I received was a pretty plate but very little actual hummus and a disaster of pita. First, they made a pretty plate circle of a small band of hummus then filled it with extra stuff to make it APPPEAR as if the center was filled with hummus yet there was zero hummus except for that small outer band. I estimate 49% hummus and the rest tzatziki and garnishment. Don't get me wrong, very aesthetically pleasing and tasty "extras" but the menu item isn't titled "EXTRAS with a little hummus". It's titled "Hunmus". And the pita... oh boy, what a mess. Proper pita is lightly grilled - served warm with a nice sponginess yet bite friendly approach. This pita was way over saturated in their butter/oil, and crisped up to the point there were burn marks and char on every piece. Horrible pairing with hummus and JOEY should know it. I feel these other reviews may be fake honestly as the prices are insane and the execution quite poor. Be careful. $45 for a $15 meal isn't worth it. Go somewhere else - I'm including a pic of the "hummus" reveal so you see what I'm talking about

Popped into Drake's while meeting up with friends and oh the experience! Loved the environment,…read moremusic and classic feels. Our server Alexis was amazing! Very kind, patient, knowledgeable of the menu & drinks (even non alcoholic for me) and her service was top notch. Now the food... first off the sourdough bread was delish. Shrimp was tasty and the gem salad, tasty again. My friends had the Honey Badger martinis and shrimp scampi and they loved it. Everything about this place was classy. Will definitely be returning to Drake's.

What a fantastic experience celebrating my partners birthday. I made reservations for a party of 4…read more When we arrived we were greeted with smiles from two hostesses. Upon entering you're met with dim lights, deep burgundy leather seats and images of musicians painted in every corner. The restaurant is absolutely stunning! Our table wasn't quite ready so we were asked to wait at the bar for short while. We started the celebration early by ordering a few drinks and by the time they arrived, our table was ready. We were lead to a large half moon shaped booth nestled in the corner; which was large and plush. Plenty of room for us four and honestly at least two more people. On our table was a place card that said Happy Birthday to my partner which was a nice touch. Our waitress arrived and very pleasant and helpful. She asked if we had questions and gave us some highlights of the menu. We ordered another round along with Meatballs Troubadour, the Heavenly Sourdough and Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice. The Heavenly Sourdough and Meatballs Troubadour were absolutely the stars of the show! The meatballs were flavorful and juicy. The marinara sauce paired wonderfully with the sourdough. For entrees, Dry-Aged Delmonico, Pomme Puree, Crispy Brussels, Honey Truffle Chicken and Whole Lobster Spaghetti. All the food was divine! To wrap it all up we of course ordered the 24 layer strawberry cake. The cake was bought out with a candle and 4 glasses of bubbly which was a very nice treat. Drake's met all my expectations and more. A huge thank you to the manager stopping by to make sure all was well throughout our meal. And also our waitress for her professionalism, knowledgeable and all around pleasant vibe. Drake's is now on my love list!
