Almond boneless chicken and sesame chicken. Why a joke. That is NOT sesame chicken!!!

DO NOT COME HERE! employees are as stale as their food. Their portions are small, unlike the MW at the mall. Tasteless, barely in sauces. I ordered Pad Thai, which had zero flavor. My sons fried rice was barely fried. Hubby ordered almond boneless and sesame (pictured) which consisted of their chicken nuggets (for both) with sesames and broccoli sprinkled on one side then almonds and their brown sauce on another?? Really? What a joke and waste of money! No wonder this place is always empty! Don't bother coming here!!!!

Tonight was our lucky night as we were seated within minutes of our arrival. QQ Kitchen is very unassuming upon entry. Small sitting area that was filled with people waiting for their take-out orders. The dining area is small and decor is simple. There is one TV monitor and tonight, "Triple D" (Diners, Drive-Ins, Dives) was on. How appropriate, huh? Menu has a lot to offer making it challenging to arrive at a snap decision. Many great choices. We started off with Spring Rolls. Very refreshing taste and the peanut dipping sauce was quite tasty. Our dinner selections: Drunken Noodles; and Pad Thai w Shrimp. Both these dishes were excellent and very fairly priced for the food quality and portion size. A great deal of foot traffic for take-out orders during the entire time we were in the restaurant. Good sign. We had a fantastic meal and we will definitely be back yo visit QQ Kitchen. Well done!

When I inquired about the Steamed 2 Special, I was told I needed to order the #4 Chicken and Shrimp Teriyaki. There appeared to be a language barrier and so I settled on the #4 with very light Teriyaki sauce. When I specified the vegetable as broccoli, I watched as the counter person scooped pre-prepared broccoli onto the styrofoam plate. While I had hoped the broccoli would be freshly made along with the shrimp and chicken, I saw that it was not an option without an argument- and I had already had too long a day. The chicken and shrimp teriyaki was actually not bad. However, the pre-cooked broccoli had an awfully bitter aftertaste. I ate what I could and tossed the rest as not worth saving due to the quality of the broccoli and the bitter aftertaste it left on anything it touched. Since I ate in the Food Court at the Mall, the ambiance was very casual and very public- basically just a place to sit and eat your meal. I noticed workers trying to keep the area clean, which I appreciated. My experience at Nori Japan was a very basic meal that wasn't horrible overall. There are many choices at the food court to find what you like - and Nori Japan may be to your taste!

2 meat combo with sweet BBQ chicken and noodles. Far superior than Magic Wok. I'll be going here for my Asian grill chicken fix.

However a word of warning the sauces can be spicy so I am glad they also added the yogurt base sauce!
