Very cute! Loved the brick aesthetic and the outdoor seating was gorgeous, I'm glad we sat outside as the inside had a little bit of a weird smell. Server was attentive, he even lit the gas fireplace outside for us! Drinks were delicious, and the food was quick and warm!

Not only do they have great soup and sandwiches, but they're very accommodating to all My husband two years ago on St. Patrick's Day proposed to me and to this day the staff members and asked how we are doing If you enjoy taking your well-behaved dog with you to lunch on a leash they're welcome our four-legged friends. I give this place nothing but high praises

Such a lovely dinner! Got to sit outside and they turned the fire pit on for us! Server was nice and answered any questions. Ordered the potato soup, house beef sandwich, and a hot chocolate with peppermint schnapps. All very yummy!

I love the cute little patio they have here. They had some nice plants and fans going, so it wasn't too hot for the summer heat. For lunch, I ordered the half sandwich half salad combo with a strawberry lemonade. For the sandwich, I ordered the chicken ranch. The chicken was moist, and the bacon was cooked to perfection (super crispy without any chewy spots). The bread was soft and tasted homemade. The overall flavor of the sandwich was a bit plain, so I asked for a side of the buffalo sauce to dunk the sandwich into and then it was perfect. Next time I might ask to add lettuce, tomato, and onion as well. For the salad, I ordered the summer special mango salad with spinach, mangoes, almonds, onions, and a poppy seed dressing. Salad was fresh and really tasty, but way too much dressing. At the end, I literally had a pool of dressing left in the bowl. The strawberry lemonade here is really something to write home about. It is fresh and made with real fruit. Very tasty! We will be back.

Surprisingly not too hot on the patio with it being 90+deg outside. Several fans and lots of shade. I got the turkey gouda sandwich with chicken gumbo. Both were OK but nothing special. Good enough to eat again.

Magpie's Cafe is a cozy little spot in St. Charles. It's in a great locations nearby old shops with a huge outdoor patio seating area. I ordered the half and half with the baked potato soup and the Chicken Ranch sandwich which was delicious and just the right amount for lunch. The soup is a must try! Next time I'll order a big bowl of it.

1st time here and wasn't to impressed with the overall visit . The patio area isn't the largest and they try to get as many tables in as possible so it's a little crowded and somewhat loud.We waited above 10 minutes after being seated before our waitress came over for our food and drink orders. Drinks came quickly but it took 40 minutes for our salads and French dip and chicken sandwich. Spinach salad was nice and refreshing and the honey chicken sandwich was good . I wish this place the best of luck in business they just need to work on serving times because the menu items aren't to complicated.

We used to live in the St. Louis area, so we've been to Magpie's several times over the years. It's a lovely place and we enjoy sitting outside. Their patio area is beautiful. Labor day weekend we actually went a bit out of our way on trip to visit Historic Old Town St. Charles because my husband was craving the coconut cream pie from a different restaurant. Unfortunately like most businesses as of late, they are so short staffed that they have to close on Sundays. My husband was so sad. Luckily Magpies had popped up on a search I had recently done on yelp, and I knew that they too had coconut cream pie - and the day was saved! Our waitress was very friendly & efficient. We sat outside in the patio area and enjoyed to well made bloody-marys. For lunch we enjoyed two different quiche slices with two different salads. The coconut cream pie was not a disappointment. We look forward to our next visit to Historic Old Town St. Charles and Magpie's.

Great little restaurant. Ate outside by heater. Great food. Order the brownie after dinner and take home. Delish!

Since our table wasn't ready, we decided to grab a drink at the bar. The Una Vida Margarita was absolutely perfect, made just to my liking. Shortly after we got our drinks, our table was ready, so we quickly moved to our seats. We started with the Scallops Scampi, which was a delightful combination of light breading and tender scallops. The rolls and butter were incredibly addictive. The Caesar salad was generously topped with shredded Parmesan cheese and had a creamy dressing. For my main course, I opted for the lobster combo, which included a 6-ounce filet, lobster tail, and three shrimp scampi. Why settle for just one when you can have them all? The filet was cooked to perfection and accompanied by a generous scoop of Tony's signature steak butter, which was simply delicious. The lobster tail was equally impressive, whether enjoyed on its own or with a squeeze of lemon and the butter draw they offer. The shrimp scampi had the same breading as the scallops and was just as tasty. Throughout our meal, we couldn't resist trying a few Una Vida shots. As always, they hit the spot perfectly. The server was fantastic and attentive, making sure to keep us well-catered to. He even joined in on our laughter throughout the evening. Overall, it was an incredible dining experience. It was our first time dining at Tony's on Main for dinner, and we're already planning our next visit.

Other diners in our small party enjoyed their meals as well. The service was adequate, but our server had to be reminded of missing items sometimes multiple times before they arrived. Perhaps he was distracted by the excessive noise accentuated by the brick interior walls and few soft surfaces.
