On July 25th 2024 I responded to an ad that advertised a free online quote and $75.00 off. I filled out the online application and was called back later and put through to a sales associate who explained to me what was all involved and what the costs would be with the different packages. I opted for a one-time 3 hour package that was supposed to include deep cleaning. My main concern was my bathroom. On Tuesday July 30th 2024 the cleaning crew showed up at about 9:30 AM. There were three individuals which was overkill for what I needed, They stayed for about an hour and then came and got me to inspect. There was very little to clean in the kitchen and living room, but my bedroom and bathroom were the main concern. When I inspected my bathroom the floor was still filthy as well as the shower. There was mold they said they could not address which I was fine with and I understood, but the floor, shower doors, and blinds were filthy (see pictures) The ceiling fan in my bedroom was filthy. After I asked them to do a better job on my bathroom twice they eventually left without a word while I was working downstairs in my office. I received a call from a company representative in response to my review that they sent me and was explained that they were there for over an hour and there were 3 people so that made up the three hours. At that point I knew I was duped so when the representative offered to send someone else out again I declined realizing that I had been scammed so I did not want them back in my house. My floors were DURTTTAYYYYY. I mean to the point where you walk without socks, the bottom of your feet looked like they stepped in dirt-ink. LOL. Not that bad, but it needed some TLC. I left and did some errands. They took my number and stated that they would text me when they were wrapping up. 30 minutes before wrapping up, they texted, we walked through the unit and addressed a few minor spots. After that, it was like a new unit ready for someone to move in! When I was living at the lofts, I would have someone come in once a month to deep clean the loft. Horrible and rude. I spent nearly 1000K to have this company deep clean my home after I had Sheetrock work done. I specifically requested the baseboards and floors be cleaned thoroughly due to the dust. I spent the day before tidying up and organizing so that their job would be straightforward. Granted my home is large but it took two people nearly 5 hours to do what I could have done myself in WAY less time. They were so slow! They also did not clean my floors with anything other than a vacuum. The baseboards were untouched. Water and a mop did NOT touch the floors. The contact person I dealt with, Mildred, was unhelpful and insinuated that my home was "huge project" with "lots of trash to remove" (1 bag) as if I am a hoarder or something. Anyone will tell you I am NOT and my home is kept cleaner than most. Never again. Don't waste your money. Their "checkpoint" system is a lie and they are ridiculously expensive and inefficient. read more

Can't believe there was dust and even cobweb after a three hour "deep clean" especially when there was no furniture inside the room. I made it clear when booking the service that since it was a move in cleaning I basically need a thorough cleaning of the bathroom, closet and kitchen, and this is what I found----a whole dusty wall behind the bathroom door and cobweb in the closet. I ended up cleaning again by myself. Tried to reach the owner via email afterwards but got no reply. Worst experience ever. Had crew done a much better job way faster than this. read more

I'm really disappointed how far this service fell from when it was Oranges and Lemons. I called for a move out service in DTLA. I did not get a call confirming the arrival time - I had to call them. They said they'd text when they arrived - they didn't. I called when they were there and the person I spoke to said the cleaners had lots of questions.... so if I hadn't called none of the questions would have been answered? They also refused to clean the oven because of the electricla current (it's an electric oven). I was also told I'd get after photos texted to me. I didn't. At the end of the day, the landlord said they did a really poor job cleaning and that I'd wasted my money. I plan to dispute the charges. Very unprofessional service. read more

The cleaner generally did a great job. However, he missed things like the top of the refrigerator and small display shelves in the dining room. More importantly, I specifically said that I wanted a deep cleaning including having the top of my baseboards cleaned when I placed my order and spoke to schedulers. But when I mentioned this, the cleaner told me I hadn't ordered a deep cleaning and that I would be charged extra. I ended up just paying him $50 directly via Zelle to clean my baseboards. This is ON TOP of the $175 for the BASIC service. I highly, highly doubt I'll be using MaidPro again. read more

Paula was very accommodating with my schedule, sweet and dropped off Maria to clean our brand new studio apartment that we just moved into 2 months ago. She did an amazing job, our studio is only a total of 501 sq feet so so figured when Paula said they were allowing 3 hours for initial cleaning, I thought that was silly bc what could you possibly clean in such a small space over that amount of time. Let me caveat, I'm kind of a neat freak, I just hate cleaning bathrooms and kitchens. I used to hire maid pro in irvine for my 1165 sq ft townhouse 2 bed, 2 bath. I would have two ladies come at 8 and be out by 8:45, so I want to say Maria does an excellent job, but I might need someone who is a little faster. Website clearly states "Same cleaner" and that I could request who I want. Again not true. Was charged 3 times for the same day and was told I have to wait 7 days to get my credit on my credit card. I am owed $651.00. The 49 point checklist is a joke. It is not used at all and I very highly doubt the employees go through any kind of formal training. The Maidpro cleaning ladies just left my apartment. It was the most professional cleaning crew i've ever had come to my home or ever dealt with. They had an entire checklist with the services they provided as well as a bag of chocolates and a pen they left neatly on my dining room table. Everything was cleaned thoroughly and orderly, they weren't cutting corners like a lot of other maids tend to do. All in all I left extremely impressed with how professional this company is. The job was time sensitive (it was for a move-out cleaning). I made an appointment with MaidPro. After, frustratingly, needing to reschedule, we settled on a date. The big day came and the cleaners came out. I showed them the place and they said they were going to get to work. I left the apartment thinking they were going to do their cleaning. Instead, *about 80 minutes later*, I was given a phone call that the cleaners said the work was "outside of their scope" and that they had done nothing. How did it take them more than an hour to do absolutely nothing and then give me a call? Anyway, I called Deep Cleaning LA and they came out the next day and did the job in about 2 hours. The apartment was better than when I moved in. MaidPro was also going to charge more than Deep Cleaning LA. Don't waste your time or money on MaidPro. They did a very poor job of cleaning a small one bedroom. I paid extra for having the fridge & oven cleaned but no time was added to the cleaning service. The poor elderly woman came with a non functioning vacuum , which forced me to drive to my home and back to provide her with a vacuum, and she didn't have enough time to do a proper cleaning. There was dirt left on the lamp, on top of the fridge, under the sofa cushions; which the company later told me that they don't clean those areas, and don't allow employees to get on a step stool, how about reaching up with the vacuum I provided??? Also the door frames were left encrusted with dirt, counter top wasn't cleaned just dusted, and the cleaning product was left on the burners of the oven. The balcony was left dirty as well. I had to hire someone else to do another cleaning because the company did nothing about my dissatisfaction. I would advise against using them. read more

MaidPro left my home dirtier than it was when they arrived. My priorities were the bathrooms, the floors and dusting. The company owner said, "no problem" and assured me that they would cover the 49 points described in their contract and on their site. I paid $274 for 4 man-hours of labor (2 people for 2 hours). One hour and 5 minutes into the 2 hours, the Pros told me they were done. I couldn't believe it. I checked around and asked them to finish up the bathrooms (soap scum on the walls still there), mop the floors (footprints) and to wipe down the kitchen counters (one of the 49 points). They went back and did a very superficial cleaning - streaks on the mirrors, soap on the tiles, sinks not wiped down. The floors are the worst. They didn't sweep or vacuum before mopping so essentially, the dirt was spread around with a wet mop. Now the floors are dirty and sticky. I've had to reclean the mirrors, dust, and I'm about to go over the floors. I told the owner/manager about the problems, and they said they would make it right. Then they disappeared. I can't recommend this company. I am so disappointed. read more

The first cancellation was made a few days leading up to the cleaning and the other was cancelled an hour prior to cleaning. While disappointed, I was patient during this period. The day of the cleaning, the maid was 1 hour and 10 minutes late. On top of this, there were areas that weren't covered that were promised in the 49-point checklist including the following: - living room and bedroom carpet - entire bathroom tub - kitchen floor (debris was leftover) - ceiling fan dusting/wipe - heater unit dusting/wipe - cobwebs throughout the apartment - various smaller areas After all of the back-and-forth over the phone and weeks that surpassed since initially engaging MaidPro, the job came up short, even on a 700 sq foot apartment. They told me i needed to give them a 2 day notice to cancel and they canceled on me 2 hours before they were to arrive at my house. Super nice/sweet crew -great gals! They were polite, wore masks and had a good attitude. However, my move-out cleaning was lackluster at best. They skipped a closet (I caught it before they left, so they came back in) They were in a hurry to leave and did not offer a walk thru before leaving, so I ran thru the house myself real quick before they left. Baseboards were not thoroughly cleaned, windowsills were not cleaned well-some missed altogether, dusty spiderwebs hanging from ceiling, faucets didn't seem polished and parts of fridge were not cleaned, etc. Basically a "half-ass" job in some ways. read more

Be careful as this business will charge you incorrectly. The women who has come 2 my home many times has not stay the entire time I was charged for. After reviewing my personal camera for other reason I noticed the discrepancy. The cleaner appeared very unprofessional. My family is encouraging me 2 proceed in exposing this company via social media but I am not that type of person. I would write a letter 2 the business burial instead. It happened at least 4x. This review is for Sylvia at the Culver City location.She was a lifesaver and came in to save the day! Here's my story...We recently hired Maid Pro to do a move in clean on a newly remodeled empty house. Unfortunately it was a last minute appointment and (in my opinion) they filled the spot with someone who really didn't know what they were doing. As nice as they were, the final result after a 2 hour deep clean was subpar and expensive (all the dust from the remodel was still stuck all over the showers, and in places I specifically asked them to clean), but since there were movers coming at the same time I didn't really take the time to spot check. My Bad. I called them back and showed them video of all the places that had obviously not been cleaned and they offered to remedy the situation by sending Sylvia out. Number one, I like a company that stands behind their work and offers to fix the problem. Sending Sylvia was a great move. She spent (no Joke) 3 hours cleaning the dust off the showers that the first team completely ignored. She was actually quite appalled herself, and made sure it was scoured. She was a sweetheart, and put in so much work to get the showers cleaned that I tipped her $50. I will use this company again but ONLY Sylvia. She was a pro and completely took it upon herself to remedy a situation that was not her fault. I appreciate that the company sent her and that they were willing to stand behind their service and make it right. SCAM...... Hired Maid Pro for a 9 hour deep clean. 3 Maids 3 hours each. One Cleaning woman shows up at 11:30 asked where are other ladies "they're coming". Went into garage to give her space due to Covid. She comes out an hour later to get something from her car and I ask where is the rest of the crew. She said she didn't know but she was done with the upstairs. One hour she DEEP CLEANED the upstairs of a 3000sf home with a Large Master Bath, another full bath, Master Bedroom, 2 Guest bedrooms, and a large loft. SCAM!!!! Called Scott and told him that this woman had to leave and I would pay her for her time. He begged me to give him another chance......REALLY. I don't have time to BABYSIT his "PROFESSIONAL STAFF" so that I am not ripped off. I'm filing a complaint with the BBB!! read more

The photos were taken just after they left. Our boys, our cats and myself stayed in bonus room while they cleaned. I never have bonus room included in clean because it is where I feed the cats, I keep litter boxes in BR bathroom and always put cats in BR while the crew is there. Before covid the lady who came each week was terrific! Since we resumed until this week the job has been mediou. This week two new people came and this is the mess they left. They claimed to there boss that the kids and cats were messing up behind them. A BOLD FACE LIE! One son left bonus room one time to get a hook from his room. I never let the cats out while they were there. I asked their boss to tell her what color the cat was they claimed to have seen and get back to me. I am confident in their lie they wouldn't have guessed the correct color. I doubt the manager every said anything to them. She was defensive in her response to me. I did ask her her if one of the kids was her son or daughter (it was a two person team) because she was so defensive as though I was making this up, even with the photo proof. And as I said I started taking this pictures when I first came downstairs immediately after they left. Awful customer service and awful clean. They will never be in my home again. I also pay for my son and daughter in laws house as a new baby gift for a year. I will be switching there service for the remainder of the year. read more
