I had a difficult package to box up. They did a great job making a custom box for the least amount of money. Very fast and polite.

I actually used to enjoy doing my mail service here for the last two years. They seemed like a sweet family. I always left tips in the tip jar and felt good about the way they ran their business. Today, I stopped in to print off a few labels and drop off a few boxes. The company for the package return sent me a " Click N Ship" label that I had not seen before. The female employee was EXTREMELY rude to me when I asked if she had seen a label like this and she proceeded to have a terrible attitude with me. She told me if the package was ready to go they could ship it, otherwise they can't deal with me. I left very unhappy because I hadn't been rude with her and had done nothing to deserve that kind of treatment. I even called to ask why I had been treated that way. She said since it was USPS she wouldn't be making money off of it and it was too much to deal with the trouble. I will no longer do any business with this store. I realize she most likely misplaced her anger and there was probably something bothering her completely unrelated to my shipping label inquiry. However, this is NO WAY to treat a loyal customer and also a POOR way to run a business. I will no longer recommend this mailbox service. Do yourself a good deed and don't go to this unstable mail service. :( read more

Went in to renew my passport. The boss was nice when he called me back to assist me. Arvin, the one who helped me with the process, was really nice. There wasn't waiting time, took about an hour total mainly because customers would come in and out and he's the only one who was working. Nonetheless I had a good time! Thanks! read more

So, I used to love this place, which is why I went out of my way to come here yesterday when I needed to ship something. The man who works here all the time is usually very present and helpful. Not so much the case yesterday. Instead of asking what I needed, he asked me "what's good". Um.. ok, that would be fine, a little quirky perhaps, still awkward, but I rolled with it. I gave him my items to be shipped, he boxed them up, and then printed a shipping label without finding out how soon my package needed to arrive at its destination. Ok, no problem, I'll just point out that I need it to get there by the 2nd, and we can move on... I feel a little ignored but not the end of the world. My biggest gripe about yesterday's visit however, was that he was watching some cartoon the entire time, which was loud and very distracting. Not to mention that the characters kept discussing dead hookers, herpes, and other unsavory topics. At one point, I mentioned that it was torture for me to listen to this, hoping he might pause it until I left. Instead of pausing it, he decided to thoroughly explain the premise of the cartoon, and the plot line of the episode currently playing. Wow. I doubt I will ever go here again, or recommend it to anyone. read more

So it's Christmas time... And I'm a procrastinator. It's 5 days before the holiday and now I'm in a frenzy because I've got presents to ship to the other side of the continent... Eek!!! I rush over to Mailbox Services Plus and Arvin and Alex were amazing! They were able to box everything up for me and help me find the right carrier to get my gifts to Florida on time! Unreliable and horrible customer service, the owner seems to always find a way to make money off of you. Will never use this place again for anything. They filter through your mail and lose your packages. And go as far as holding back important mail from you and practically forcing you to sign a one year term and pre-pay to get your package back. Very shady business place I can't believe they haven't been shut down by the postal inspector yet. Update: Alex I see your response, however your response does not justify the fact that you held my mail back from me, for over a MONTh! which was NOT an ADVERTISEMENT and threatened to not give it back unless I sign a 1 year contract with you. A business listing is not an advertisement buddy. The letter said "Important Document Enclosed", and you had both the original and the second letter I requested from sender because I didn't get the first one still on your desk. You intercepted my mail before it was delivered and held it back from me for a month, costing me my business. Per 18 USC 1702 "whoever takes any letter, postal card or package (...) before it has been delivered to the person to whom it was directed, with design to obstruct the correspondence, or pry into the business secretes of another" is guilty of a federal crime. Furthermore, it also constitutes the civil tort of invasion of privacy. Your response prompts me to file a complaint with the US Postal Inspector since you don't have enough integrity to admit your own mistakes. And the claims you make about how good your business runs is hard to believe considering you write your own 5 star reviews on Yelp and pay Yelp to filter the reviews. Pathetic and SHADY business ethic! People please scroll down and read the filtered reviews to see that this man writes his own reviews under the name Alex M, and apparently pays Yelp to take off other negative reviews. (Hint: Yelp does that if you're on a contract with them and pay a monthly fee) read more

DO NOT GO HERE FOR CANADIAN PASSPORT PHOTOS! I went through hell, and over $100 in FexEx bills after getting my Canadian passport renewal rejected because the "Canadian Passport Photos" that this place claims to do where extremely sub par. Canada's standards for passport photos are VERY SPECIFIC. Not only were the photos taken here overexposed and blown out, there were bad shadows under my chin, and the size of my head in frame (which must be exact, down the the millimetre) was not correct. Instead, if you need to renew a Canadian Passport by mail, the person to see is Julie at Village Mail-Call on Larchmont. She spent a good half hour, lighting, relighting, measuring, remeasuring, directing the angle of my face, even lending me makeup so that my skin would be too light! She made sure everything was to specification, and VOILA! My passport was approved! read more

I've been going to these people for quite a while. They do everything you can imagine the guy who runs it (Alex) is a man of all trades and a hustler. Anything I ask him he gets done for me. They did all my notary's, my mail is always handled well by them and everything has been on time. Also, they helped with me getting my passport last minute. I needed it for an important business trip and I relied heavily on these people to get my passport within three days. They had to jump through major ropes and do a lot of work and the owner PERSONALLY drove himself to the department of state to get me my passport. And the reason for it is because Tina and her previous employee (unfortunately he had to go back to his home country) is always honest about how to ship an item, how long it would take, what other options there are, how much it would be, and they help with the packaging as well. Jimmy & Alex are terrific. I've had my p.o. box here for 3 years now, and their hometown pro service is worth sharing. Not only have they gone out of their way to accommodate mailings, but they know the usual customers by name. In a world of automated businesses, it's the closest you'll get to efficiency with a touch of Mayberry. Not once have I witnessed less than kind or top notch service. I'm here a couple/few times a week, and to the contrary, they put up with their share of disgruntled folks. This isn't Walmart, but some want super discounts.. or arrive too late for same day delivery. As for passport photos, they take quality shots, otherwise the models, actresses and other locals pleased with results, would take their business elsewhere. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because handy parking can be challenging sometimes, but there's another lot around the bend. I wish more local businesses had the personal feel of their establishment, and trust is everything. read more

Just a really good vibe. Looks like a little old office but they have been around for a while because they know what theyre doing. They share a parking lot with a few business so there is parking which is nice because this area there is always traffic and the only parking is often on the street where you have to pay a meter. They knew their regular customers on a first name basis which adds to their good customer service. I just came in to get passport photos and they helped me with filing for my lost passport and getting my stuff together for the new one! Super helpful. read more

Very very expensive DHL services. Not sure why it's so expensive. But, the guy who helped me was very helpful and nice. I'd go back there again sometime but I hope I don't have to use DHL again. Unfortunately I had no other choice, the recipient wanted the package sent by DHL. FedEx is the best. Cheaper too, usually. read more

I came to this ASAP Passport Service because I needed to be ready to travel to the UK in about 2-3 weeks. If you try and expedite your passport through the post office I believe that you can get it within 3 weeks at the fastest. I needed mine quicker so I visited ASAP during my lunch hour with my completed forms and necessary items. Alex helped me to organize all my items properly so that I could take them to the post office to get notarized (that was another process). Once I had a my application and forms ready to go from the post office I brought my folder back to ASAP for them to handle. I turned in my materials on a Wednesday morning and picked up my passport the following Thursday afternoon. $150. Worth it if you need your passport quickly! read more
