My printer had broken and I need to get something copied and put in the mail that day. I was en route to the dreaded (always busy, always a hassle) post office hoping that they could make a copy for me when I noticed the Mailbox Plus sign. Lucky day - the man at the counter couldn't have been nicer and I was able to get the 3 pages copied in no time at all. I had the envelope already stamped and addressed and he said it was no problem to leave it there; it would go out at the end of the day. What a nice change from Kinkos and the crabby people and long lines at the Chandler post office. I'm sorry I didn't get his name - but I can see from the other reviews that everyone who works there is helpful and friendly no matter how large or small the customer's needs are. It was 6:30pm and I needed a notary ASAP and the mobile services charge $75-125... I called to get more information - $10/notation!! GREAT!! LA traffic wasn't working in my favor so I called again - straight away he easily assured me that he wouldn't close before I got there. I was immediately impressed. I am a notary who was looking for a fellow notary to notarize a document. I normally went to Rita at the UPS store at Fulton and Victory, however, I was surprised and saddened to find it out of business at that location. What to do? An internet search showed a UPS store at Laurel Canyon and Magnolia. Dreading getting into the traffic congestion and difficult parking on Laurel Canyon, I was traveling south on Whitsett when I approached a stop light at Chandler, looked to the left, and saw Mailbox Plus with a notary sign. What a pleasure! Non-stressful location, convenient parking, and Arthur the dynamo. He was surrounded by packages and people dropping off more but turned his attention to my notarization as if my job was all he had to do. Arthur is the master of skilled multi-tasking.
