I can't believe I have to take time out of my day to write about how HORRIBLE the service was and people were. The workers are on the younger side but not one failed to have an attitude today and be unhelpful. Every single person looked like they wanted to die while talking to you. We entered and bought the activity pass which allowed for game play in the arcade and bowling, which sounded too good to be true. As my small group went to bowl , we entered the booth and it was dirty with used forks on the seats. I almost forgot covid completely disappeared and we shouldn't care about cleaning and disinfecting things before a new group came in! Absolutely disgusting. The bumpers weren't working on our lane... no biggie i guess? I had to ask our server 4 TIMES to bring us 3 waters and it took 30 minutes for her to even do that. Afterwards we went to go play games. We spent three hours racking up points to get prizes. We walked up to the young girl ready to grab our points just for her not to great us and stare at us with a blank stare. She swiped our cards from our hands aggressively and then proceeds to tell us "there's nothing on these cards" very rudely. She didn't bother to explain or anything so we asked her why is that? "Oh these are null you can't win anything" and shoves on cards back on the table. Oh awesome we spent extra money to play games and rack up tickets just for them to find a loophole and not allow us to win anything and play games for our health for 3 hours. After a long day there with no return at all, I happened to leave my wallet. I called frantically over and over and would you believe???? No answer!!!! I had to come back ask people just for them to be unwilling to help and acting as if I just asked them to walk to Canada and back! Absolute assholes never returning. Either you work these poor kids to death or they have serious god complexes. Don't work if you are gonna have an attitude. Wish I could give less than 1 star Jesus Christ. read more

I will premise this by saying we came on Memorial Day, and they've been open about 5 days, so I'm sure there are kinks they will work out and I look forward to updating my review when they do! Overall, this place is awesome. We took advantage of a play all day pass, and in about 4 hours my family played 3 games of laser tag (and it's not a cheesy one at all!!), 2 turns on the ropes course (the zip line was a huge hit!) two games of bowling, ate lunch, and one game of pool. Two kids, 12 and 9, and my husband - no complaints!! There is absolutely zero for toddlers, that's a little bit of a bummer but I wasn't expecting much either when we came, so we sat out and watched. Everything is clean and new, the staff seem well trained and they really hustle, and the food is awesome. WAY above expectations on the food!! The chicken nachos, omg. And the kids meals looked way better than most restaurants while still only being in the $6 range. In general the food was not nearly as expensive as I expected. I love the system of checking in for a time to return to the laser tag and ropes, cuts down the standing in line to nothing! That aside, even on a holiday weekend with a special discount running it never felt crowded and we never had to wait for what we wanted to do. We came just after opening and stayed until a while after lunch. The not so good: 1 - they seem to have a lot of technical difficulty with the laser tag, and were constantly running behind. 2- service in the bowling alley area is very slow, maybe understaffed. It was hard to find someone, and the intercom mostly just gave us a message saying they were busy so we couldn't call our server. Because of this, we barely got drink refills. The glasses seem small, are full of ice, and then when we can't get a refill it's a $3+ bummer. 3 - it would be helpful if they had staff wandering the arcade area. We had a game malfunction and had to wait in the laser tag line to get a staff member to help. read more

Glad they opened a location in Gilbert. Individual activities can get expensive so look for the package deals. If you go there before 10.30 AM, they have a special for $12.99 which seems like a great value. Food is a bit on the expensive side which is in line with such venues. Nice places for kids to hang out with their friends, while parents can also have some fun. We had a large group and everyone had fun. read more

We've been twice now to go bowling and waited well over 2 hours and never ended up getting a lane. After the first time we decided to give it another chance but the same thing happened. We won't be back. Today we waited over 2 hours. They said it would be a two hour wait. We went to check how much longer and they said another hour and a half. Between all of the money we've spent on games drinks and food you'd think they'd give us better service. We will be at fat cats down the street. read more

Definitely will not be returning. Games are too expensive and bowling is ridiculous. Our lane needed to be reset after every other turn and the dumb pins kept slipping from the bowling pin holder when it does its sweep. It didn't just slip down and fall but fell forward and out onto the lane to where we needed someone to come to our lane more than once. You're on a timer of an hour which really doesn't even give you time for more than one and half to two games if you have a party of 6. I'll stick with Dave and busters for games and go to an actual bowling alley for bowling. Don't waste your money. read more

I went in on Monday night and paid for the unlimited passes with 3 friends. The desk attendant acted like she hated her job and would rather do anything else than be there and help us. Most of the games broken, and even if it let you swipe you couldn't play them. The basketball and ski ball had barely anyone balls in them. The bowling was good but the floor and seating area a disaster as well as all the games, floors, surfaces absolutely disgusting. Went on gravity ropes had time to go straight to the jump off runway and go then had to get off for the next group. Literally less than 10 min and most of the night no one was on gravity ropes. Laser Tag was about 10 min too, and he was letting people in the arena but we had to try on multiple guns/vests because they were all broken as he was starting the game already. We decided we wanted to do the photo booth, but we payed for unlimited and you had to spend extra for it so I asked the guy at the desk that walked by me three times ignoring me at the counter. Then he told me it cost 25 credits for 5 dollars and I said ok I want to do two rounds of photos so I will take 50 credits please. He took my card and gave me the card with the credits back too. I go to swipe it and it says I have 291 credits left on the card, but I know I didn't pay for that much so I immediately went back up bc my bank app gave me a notification that I got charged $50. He said "yeah I thought it was weird you wanted 300 credits" which I definitely did not say and never even apologized for the mishap. He says he will charge me $10 for the 50 credits on a new card and the $50 dollars will be refunded to me no later than Wednesday. So I called today and they told me the guy that helped me has a shift in a couple hours and he'll call me on his free time during his shift to figure it out, so I asked is there by chance another manager with the ability to do refunds because I have a crazy busy day and you can't give me a set time for the call. They didn't say anything but put me on hold and a guy comes on so I explain the situation to him and he says "I don't know what you want because I don't want to do the refund for you I want Marvin too later" and this is where things got frustrating because he said I told you what I'll do that's all that's gonna happen. Even though it was not my fault I got charged the wrong amount. I asked if there was someone there that would do the refund and he said sarcastically " so my name is Derrick (pause) my name is Derrick and I am the acting manager of main event there's nothing I'm going to for you" and I was shocked a manager of an establishment would act like a 5 year old. I was said wow are you serious? And he said "yeah and you're not getting your refund" then hung up. So I am 18 who has been working two jobs to save up for school so I can go and be debt free through it and I just got scammed out of $50. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would have!!! We went to this place after my grandmother's funeral, 30 of us all lined up spending 1000+ at the bar. Unfortunately for us half of us were Mexican because the bartender Kasey decided she wasn't interested or more she downright refused to serve Mexicans. I spoke to the manager David who assured me "that was strange and he'd observe her" as he FINALLY walked up almost 20 minutes later, she just happened to be refusing to serve my uncle who happened to have dark skin, and I said to my family oh good that's the manager I spoke with he can see first hand that she pretends not to see Mexicans and/or be rude to them. I was absolutely disappointed tonight. First and foremost, it smelt like piss and toddler shit. Secondly, it is Arizona, where it is a million degrees and I had to ask for water 3 TIMES for my friends and I didn't get it for another 40 minutes. Thirdly, everyone working there looked like they wanted to unalive themselves and had terrible attitude. As a person who works in customer service, one of the FIRST things we are taught is to be nice to customers and never take it out on them, I would think the least they could do is be a little nice. MOST IMPORTANTLY, I was LIED to and robbed of my money. I spent an extra $30 for my friends and I to play arcade games and was not told that we would not get points??? What the hell? Who thought it was smart to charge people to play games and not be able to get POINTS! Our sorry asses had our hopes high as we thought we collected tickets by playing games for hours looking forward to the prizes we would get. We were GREATLY disappointed. As we waited in line patiently for what felt like 30 minutes, the absolutely rude girl at the counter continued to tell us that we had ZERO points. WTF?!!! Excuse me. I had to ask her to explain why and all I got was a stupid explanation. I was robbed and lied to and that is so rude honestly. Me and my friends rarely do stuff like this and save our money to be able to do so, so the one time that we go out a spend money we get robbed??? To hell with you guys. Very fun place for kids and adults. Not a lot of activities because the arcade games ruin it all $1.65-$1.95 PER PLAY!!! You can go to amazing Jakes, peter piper, Chuck E. Cheese's, Dave n busters, or Brunswick bowling for $0.50-$1 a play. With Main Event, it will drain you broke and the prize section is cheap prizes and priced a lot of points. If your here hang out don't play the arcade games just do bowling, pool, laser tag, and the obstacle course. I spent $20 and only got 100 points. Most of the games me and others play always scam you and you never get your points. PLEASE MAIN EVENT ENTERTAINMENT LOWER YOUR PRICES ON ARCADE GAMES FROM $1.95 TO $1! We won't be back anytime soon. Very misleading experience regarding their "unlimited" wristbands. We understandably waited over an hour for a lane but after 60 minutes of the first bowling session we didn't get to finish the game. We had just got our food when a message popped up to speak to the front. The front desk (extremely unprofessional) said we had to get back on an hour waitlist in order to finish our game. We hosted a surprise birthday party at Main Event and the event was a success! Our party host and server, Becca, was fantastic. She was helpful from the moment I arrived and helped us setup the party area for the birthday. We had almost 30 people and Becca made sure that everyone was taken care of. The food arrived on time, even though we also had a last-minute order when we realized we would have more guests than we anticipated. She also helped us pull off the surprise by being our eyes and watching for birthday boy walk in to the facility. The guests had a great time later on playing games and laser tag. Then u have to get back on the waiting list to bowl again and get a different lane. What a joke. So its actually all you can bowl depending on how busy they are. Ill be disputing my credit card in the morning for false advertisement. The 2nd time we came we played about 200 bucks worth of games racking up points for our kids and then we went to cash in and they said our card malfunctioned and they comped us 100 points. We went there for my sons birthday. The birthday package of 15.95 each is not bad. Sign up for a fun card and they will email you a $5 one allow 1 or 2 days to get the email but I received mine immed. Our party package included cheese pizza, drinks, laser tag, $5 arcade card for each kid. The pizza was really good all the food looked fantastic so the kitchen is definitely ok. Our party host was Mia and it was organized and not as chaotic as I thought it would be. Be advised the games and activities are expensive. All the arcade games are from $165-$195 EACH and laser tag and gravity ropes are $9.60 after tax each, on peak. Look for specials and take advantage of them. They have a Monday night all you can play arcade special, plus summer break camps that include unlimited bowling, laser tag, etc. Otherwise this place can get very expensive but it's fun. read more

The play pass is a joke!!!! In the span of 4 hours we could only do the laser tag twice and the ropes course once. Although they try to sell you on that you get "unlimited" but it is really not. You have to wait in line to get a time slot to do the activities and then what until that time, which could be an hour or two later. Unfortunately we couldn't even do the bowling because of a 3 hour wait until that was available. In my opinion, this was a waste of time and money. I don't ever plan on returning. read more

Main Event is an excellent addition to the Gilbert area. My family and I have been here a few times celebrating birthdays, going away parties and random Tuesday nights, it has something for everyone. The set-up is perfect with bowling in the back, billiards in the front next to the bar and the arcade/laser tag and sky course off in its own section of the building. On busy nights, Main Event seems to deal with the crowds pretty well. We have run into a few snags every time we bowl, which is frustrating. The staff this last time reset our time so we could continue to play with no issues. We had 3 other issues happen and the manager and the bowling techs tried helping us out. After a while we just used one of the bowling games that wasn't giving us any grief and continued on with our night. I am hoping the next time we visit they have fixed all the bugs. The food is decent, the staff is hit and miss, but you can make the night by the people you are with. Be warned you will spend a pretty penny doing everything, but you have the option to pick and choose what you want to do. Look for deals and go on the nights that they run specials! This is definitely a place for families, but also a fun date night, girls night, or just looking to have a fun night out! read more

Terrible restaurant for lunch. Waited 15 minutes to get a server in which I had to ask for one. Nice guy when he did get our order. Order buffalo wings and a Caesar salad and my son had a cheese pizza and an Oreo milkshake. Got the food fairly quickly except they gave me the wrong wings and the fries were terribly over seasoned. The pizza sauce on my son's pizza was a mess and way too much for a small 7 inch pizza. The milkshake tastes great but as you can see in the picture never wiped down the outside of the glass. Ok, so truthfully I was not really excited to go here. I thought it was going to be like all the other "kid entertainment places." But I was so wrong! I loved the atmosphere. The employees make sure you are doing ok throughout your visit. We bowled, which was amazing. We also played some arcade games. I also won, not one, but two, beanie baby boos for my little girl. The Staff was very accommodating and helpful for our large group that came in at 4:00 p.m. on a Sunday. They were able to find a spot for us and took our orders in a timely fashion and got us our food in little to no wait time period Brandon was awesome and the other 3 who work with him helped out tremendously thank you so much. Unprofessional management! We were so excited to come to this place for our date night. We ended up leaving and going next door to top golf instead. Waited over an hour while watching our name jump around on the screen which showed our place in line for bowling. Spoke to the manager and he moved us from #17 to #2 to try and remedy the problem. We waited an additional 35 minutes only to watch our names get bumped again! When we asked for compensation of our wait time and the mistakes they made, the manager said there was nothing they could do, and shrugged his shoulders. Came here on 02/25/2022 to celebrate my brothers birthday. The prices weren't that bad. If you want to earn tickets you have to load money onto a fun card which I bought two and put 25 on each. The app was cool because when I reloaded it for the first time it gave me 100% bonus. I also purchased the unlimited passes for the addition amenities. The workers at the bowling counter were nice and friendly however the workers at winners choice were not. They were talking to each other and looked like they did not want to help you at all. When I walked up they were very awkward and not friendly. The guy in a blue shirt didn't even tell me my ticket balance and immediately went back to talking to the girl coworker. They weren't paying attention and didn't explain anything. There were a few workers who were great. I didn't see his name but he was blonde with glasses, he was very friendly and the red head with glasses was too. If the customer service was better than my rating might be higher but I was very disappointed with the way they treated me. I didn't feel welcome and will not be returning. Might just come in to play guitar hero and that's it. Also I didn't realize the pizza place was closed I was very thirsty :/ read more

This place is so much fun for pre teen kids. It is super pricey though. Even getting a gift card through Costco, we still ended spending over $100 additional. We got all you can play passes before noon which was $15/ person, it didn't include the bowling shoes which was $3/per person or something like that. We used a $20 play card and 2 hour play card. We only ordered a lunch for the kids and a margarita and appetizer and with tip that was almost $50. The laser tag was fun for this kids. They have the gravity ropes activity for height of 48" and taller and that was scaaaarrryyy! The only problem I had was the employees. College age kids who minimally interact with kids or families and still don't understand customer service. The laser tag kid didn't say a single thing. He literally played the video and pointed his fingers. For those of us being new like myself, I didn't know how to put the vest on correctly, how long games were, that there were colored teams, etc. I would gladly visit again, I just hope they encourage customer service to their employees. read more

Nice place for adults but not for kids. Way more expensive than other arcades in the area. They seriously charge you $1 just to have a card so you can play games. Not to mention that all games are oddly priced, $1,63 etc so you always end up with money left on your card that you lose unless you add more. Although this place provides good deals occasionally and fun, it is extremely overpriced especially the food. We went to get two chicken tender meals and the lady at the register was very rude. We had to wait 30 minutes just to get our food that's barely warm and missing sauce and coleslaw. I told the same lady at the register we didn't get coleslaw and she asked me if I wanted it?? I paid for it so yes I wanted it and was confused as to why it was a question and why we didn't get it. No apology or anything. I also asked about the sauce and what options they had and she stared at me with a blank face like I was stupid. $28 on two meals just to have bad customer service and half of my barely warm meal. We just left here, after having our son's 11th birthday party. I have mixed feelings, honestly...we found 2 long hairs on one of our pizzas, but they did make us a new pizza and give the kids another round of laser tag on the house. However, as I sat there while the kids were eating, I was watching multiple female servers in the party area, by the cash register (which is literally right next to the counter where they cut cake and box up food) take their hair out of their ponytails, and other girls playing with their hair, twisting it, shaking it. It is no wonder they have an "hair in the food problem". My other issue was the process. We had our table until 2:20, at which point we would be moved to the cafe area because our party ended at 3:30. At 2:03, people were sweeping around my feet. One of our servers started moving all the kids drinks, including the icees I had added to the party package, which did not have any names on them. This resulted in the kids coming back and having no idea which icees were theirs, which meant more than half of them were tossed. It is not cheap to have a party here, especially if you know 3 pizzas arent going to be enough to feed 10 pre teen boys and have to add more food to your package...so to have hairy pizza, and trashed icees is just crappy. Time isnt utilised well for the parties either. Our package included "3 hours of party time" including 4 events. My son chose laser tag, gravity ropes, and double arcade time. Our kids sat bored at the table for long periods between each event, and it would've been even longer if we hadn't gotten the free 2nd game of laser tag. There was a lot of sitting around waiting, and yet we were rushed out of the party area (which no one had occupied by the time we left there at 3:30). Overall, they had a good time, and our servers were very kind and helpful, as was the supervisor. It is not their fault that the process isnt efficient and no one has decided employees with long hair need to have their hair up (NOT half up!) the entire time they're at work.
