We give it five stars for for the bartenders and games. The food is also amazing but if you sit down at a table the service is sub par. We live close and are regulars, we always have to flag a server down to get service. BUT Charlene the bartender is so awesome, that's what keeps us coming back. read more

We spent New Years Eve there last night with my cousin and her family. It took us over 2 hours to eat because it took forever to get pieces of our meal delivered to us. Our food came out lukewarm and without silverware, salad dressing for our salads or napkins. When we asked the server to get the items for us he didn't return so we had to ask another server to help us so we could eat our now cold food. Our original server never came back to our table to see if we needed refills on our soda or to see if there was anything else we wanted. I had to get up and go to where the servers ring up the food orders to ask someone there to get me more soda. I also mentioned to the server that we hadn't seen our server since he dropped our food off. She apologized and said it might have been her fault and i told her that it wasn't her-it was a guy. We never received a bill for our food. We waited 45 minutes for the bill and during that time we asked 4 different servers to bring our bill. We even mentioned to 2 of them that the machine on our table was broken and wouldn't allow us to order or pay our bill. Our bill never came. We had a bowling reservation so we needed to go bowl. After bowling I went back by and flagged a server down and asked him for our bill. I waited about 30 minutes and he never came back with our bill so I left to go do laser tag with our group. I probably missed all of the activities my group did because I was eating with my spouse and waiting around to pay a bill that never came. At one point, I went to get gelato. A girl was working behind the counter standing at the cash register. I was at the gelato case waiting to give her my order but she never came over or acknowledged me. I stood there for about 5 minutes and she never looked up and from what I can tell wasn't doing anything. As I stood there the line filled up. She still never acknowledged anyone. Finally, I had to ask her who was manning the station and she said that she was. I asked her if I could order some gelato and she said yes but stood there so i asked her if I needed to move a foot over towards her or stand in front of the cash register to order and she said yes. I was completely shocked that had I not asked where I needed to stand and then moved over in front of her, she would never have waited on me or the 10 other people in line. On top of it, she was scooping my gelato with hands that had really long fake nails. That does not seem very hygienic because they were so long they were touching my gelato. It was disgusting. When I paid her, I gave her a $10 bill and she only gave me the coins from the change so I had to tell her that I had given her a $10 bill and she had only paid me 31 cents. Had I not been paying attention or had sent a kid to get the gelato, I probably would've been out the money. This business is not going to last if it keeps doing business this way. I'm sure they are losing a ton of money because people were walking away from their tables complaining that they never saw their server again and never got a bill. The servers and staff need serious training on waiting tables and customer service. They also need a manager who observes and follows up to ensure they are doing things the right way. This place is a train wreck! We will not be back. read more

New, fun, exciting, and very over-priced. We came to bowl but there was an hour long wait to get a lane (this was noon on Friday, which seemed an odd time to be so busy, but it is summer time....). So, we decided to do the arcade instead. That was an expensive decision. We bought the $25 dollar card, which came with an $8 bonus credit, but the card itself costs $1, so it was $26 for $33. I thought that would last a while for myself and my six year old, but it was shocked to see that each and every game costs at least $1.65. Went bowling with my wife to do something fun on our anniversary, unfortunately was disappointed in the way they run their timed bowling system. Paid for 60 minutes of bowling, was walked up to our lane, instructed on how to use the system, helped put or names in even. I was impressed up to this point on the customer service. I waited to push the start bowling button until I got our balls and shoes on to prevent losing time on our game. This is were I was disappointed, after we got settled and started our game I found that we were already being counted against and losing time on our lane from the time the employee walked us to our lane. I feel that this is poor customer service, by the time you start bowling you've already lost 10 minutes of bowling time. read more

Won't be back. False advertising. They claim unlimited bowling on Monday but after bowling for only 1 hour they wanted to put us back on the waiting list? Lane quit working after timer was up as well and no one at the front desk answered the service call after 3 attempts. Also lanes had no oil what so ever and video games would stop playing due to "too many excessive plays" after one or two restarts while playing the unlimited arcade deal. It's a joke. I get you don't want unlimited players hogging the games but if im not allowed to continue a game after one or two restarts then what's the point? Not a good experience at all. read more

We went here for the first time last night. They have this great deal going on, arcade games or bowling for $20.00 per person, with no time limit. The young lady in the front Nicklaus? Thats the name printed on the receipt . My husband left his debit card at the desk, she tracked us down and gave it back to him. That would have been a scary situation if he went to look for it and it was gone. The young man who helped us in the restaurant area was great also, he was very attentive. read more

My parents and brother came into town to visit AZ this past Labor Day weekend. We were looking for fun indoor activities we could together for a family of 6. We decided to try this entertainment fun center for the first time and so glad we did. "Main Event" had a lot of activities for us to do. We bought the unlimited pass and played laser tag, bowling, shuffleboard, and billiards. It was a lot of fun and we definitely had lots of great memories. So glad we did it and will definitely be back again. read more

I am honestly sad writing this review because my friends and I actually love it here and have been going for years. We have been regulars at this location for so long that most of the staff knows us and we tip every member of the staff we come in contact with very generously, including the front desk staff. Closing out the night here is very normal for us and we are usually left to bowl until the lights come on and the screens/music turn off which does vary from 12am-2am. Today we were told that bowling closes an hour to an hour and half earlier than the location's actual closing time and that is has been that way since they opened. We checked online and your google times did change for Monday so you now close at 1am instead of 2. But nowhere does it say that the bowling closes prior to that, the door doesn't say it, there is no sign at the entrance to bowling line that says it, and it's not listed on your website. I would understand if they wanted to close early for personal reasons tonight or someone rented out the lanes but to blatantly lie to our faces like that is crazy. We frequent this place so much that we personally know 2 managers and most of the servers (we spend $200 there almost twice a week). Bowling is a fun past time for us so hopefully we will be able to come back to our normalcy of good customer service. Please let your customers know that bowling times have changed and you can no longer enjoy that part of the facility until closes. All photos below depict exactly what I said. We enjoyed going there today... not too busy (of course, it was noon on a Monday!). It was my daughter's first time bowling and playing laser tag... she went home very happy. The place itself is pretty new and has a nice interior. Having said that, I did find it to be expensive. We paid for the $18.95/person for unlimited bowling, laser tag, etc. I think that was worth getting... I was surprised by how expensive the arcade games were. I would give zero stars if I could. We've been coming here since they opened, and the service has drastically gone down hill. After getting my pool table I had to ask 3 food runners to get me someone so I could order food and they never did. I finally flagged down someone to get me a food order but it took the bar over 15 minutes to get me 3 drinks. After I paid for the drinks it was another solid 10 minutes before I got them. The last time we were bowling and had to flag down the server and she was the most miserable person that never smiled at all. Went to Main Event last night with a group of high schoolers as a semester kick off and although the venue was clean and not too crowded, the associates were less than friendly. They worked with zero amount of efficiency and had horrible attitudes. They spoke rudely to me and the high schoolers, acting as if we were a burden to them. You have to pay for any VR games, and you have to pay for any arcade games. I'm find with that but their training is awful for their employees or their employees just are not the brightest bulbs. The should consider some changes in their "packages"...maybe bronze, silver and gold....each you get different things.....To be candid I cannot see returning to what can be described as unprepared staff and chaotic and conflicting answers to questions....I mean who says "unlimited bowling" for one price but you have to pay for shoes ($5), max one hour on the lane...not that we would bowl longer but just saying....So you in the unlimited pass you get one hour of bowling at a time, have to sign up for that and wait, same with the air ropes, one at a time and sign up, pay for shoes, pay for video games, pay for VR games. Review We went a Sunday night at 8pm : the girl at the front was named Una and I don't know if she was in a bad mood about something before we talked to her and it showed on her face so her customer service was awful and she was snappy. We got our lane not much later and went to get our shoes and we said we could pay for the shoes now and she completely ignored us and just gave us the shoes, I was so confused. We sat down at our lane and then 15 min later another family sat in the lane across from us and the server came to them right away and took their order.. I had asked for the server and the three people in blue shirts were all on their phones just standing there. We got our drinks and one of them spilled and there was no server or blue shirt workers around to ask for help so I went to the front and they had their backs to me the entire time until a nice girl came and helped us. And it took 3 different blue shirt workers to figure out how to clean one small spilled sprite on the floor. we had to call them back to wipe the missing spots on the seat.. just a horrible experience. Went to the bathroom , NO soap, NO paper towels, NO TP. This service has sucked. read more

New location looks awesome. Had a great time playing bowling and shuffleboard. I like that you can take your picture for the bowling scorecard. Funny cartoons proceed after each bowl. He actual shuffleboard was very long and slippery. A lot of fun though. Food and drink options are vast. There's also an arcade, laser tag and some sort of zip line. We love coming to main event and always have a good time however I will never throw a party at main event ever! Our host Brianna rushed us to do everything. I understand everything is scheduled and planned accordingly but she continuously reminded me as if I wasn't aware. She appeared to be bothered when making requests like ordering food and drinks. Everything felt completely rushed and I was forced to do everything immediately leaving us extra time with the kids to do nothing. The kids went to play games and when they came back all their cake and cups were tossed. No one asked if it was ok to toss anything they voluntarily did that. There was about 6 employees staring at our table almost the entire time of our party it was just completely awkward. For a party of 10 way over priced for the experience. The lanes for bowling kept having technical difficulty. You have an hour to play and we spent over a quarter of the time sitting waiting for several repairs. No apology - no extra time given - no discount. Spelled my daughters name wrong for her birthday party. The food is way over priced. They include gratuity and your party host only receives 12% of that which is a joke. The rest of the "gratuity/tip" goes to those that help?! Who else helped? The people having to come and fix the bowling lanes? Laser tag is part of the party package and the kids get to go 1x for 10 minutes. $5 on a card when the cakes on average are $1,20 to $1.90 seriously. I could think of much better parties for just under $500 and that wasn't even for their big party package. read more

I've had a lot of their menu items here and they are all typical "bar" food nothing spectacular but still will satisfy your hunger. We've done Fat Cats, Jakes, Top Golf & now we have tried Main event. What started out as a disaster of a Birthday Party turned into a memorable & fun time for my kiddo & his friends. Thanks to the expert care of management to make a square peg fit in a round hole so I would be able to focus on what matters instead of stressing when plans went off the rails. Place is super super bad shape. Half of the games were not functional, we paid for unlimited play, it was a five hour wait for bowling, and the skywalk was completely close. This place is a joke. This place has absurd policies and frankly, it's a joke. The cost is high, but the place is nice so that is understandable. The service is fine, nothing worth remembering. We were told we'd wait about an hour, almost two and a half hours later we get a lane. We get bowling and we order some food and drinks, are hour is almost up so I go to add more time. We are informed we cannot. You can only bowl for one hour at a time then you have to stop, get off your lane, return your stuff, and go back on the two hour wait list. Needless to say that is stupid, not only did you push out customers who were fixing to wrap up a couple hundred bucks on a tab, but also permanently lost the business of someone who bowls weekly and has bowled at tons of lanes and have never had a policy this laughably bad. read more

We enjoy coming to main event. Our last visit 4/14 we played games for 2 hours. Decided to eat and the service we got was horrible. Our food was cold, we saw our food coming out than they took it back to the kitchen and for about 10 minutes they couldn't figure out it was our food. Then we ordered a burger for my daughter which was way overcooked. The server forgot to bring plates for our wings. He forgot to bring napkins, he brought 2 we had 3 people at the table. We waited 15 minutes for him to cash our check. I believe his name is Michael and this is the second time we have had him. Get better service. read more
