Pear Arugala salad (loved the dressing with a hint of jalepeno) and the Thai salad with romaine lettuce
Cathy L.

Great local restaurant only 4 miles from Avon. Cute patio for outside dining, 3:30-5:30 happy hour in the bar. We ate in the bar but mostly ordered off the regular menu. Our waiters were great, checking in with us frequently and giving us suggestions. When one person asked for romaine lettuce instead of greens in his Thai salad he was given a " no problem"! Prices reasonable... bathrooms clean. The restaurant was almost full as we were leaving at 6:30 pm on a Monday.

Nightly Special- Mussels with Fettuccine
Lori W.

Love this place for a delicious bite before a movie at the theater right across the street. The service is always great and there's always a decent amount of people eating there. The ambiance is great. I got the nightly special- mussels with fettuccine and it was absolutely to die for! It tasted like it was from a very upscale restaurant. I will definitely be coming back.

Caprarese salad with grilled chicken
Lynn A.

We are at the grill for the first time tonight, and are pleasantly surprised! Friendly staff, fast service and delicious meals! We had two littles with us and each got a high chair right away. Our two year old ordered her food when the adults ordered our drinks, which worked out perfectly! She had tenders and applesauce and look of the empty plates, they were yummy. I had the Caprarese salad with grilled chicken. Beautifully served and equally delicious. There were six of us at the table and we all raved about our meals. We'll be back soon!

Wish I could say more about this place but...it was just OK. Pretty standard menu and prices aren't too bad.

We went for dinner during our trip to Beaver Creek. It was on a weekday and this place was busy,…read moretables filled up pretty quick! I love the rustic cabin decor in the dinning room, very warm and cozy vibe. Our server Brett is great, informative and very patience with us. Soup of the Day was Beef & Vegetable and it was pretty good. On the entrees, we went with the grilled wild game meats. Hubby got the Elk Combo (Elk Chop, Grilled Quail, Jackalope sausage). The chop cooked just right, tasty sausage and the quail was delicious. I had the Elk Tenderloin, it was flavorful but I should have ordered medium rare instead of medium as it was overdone to my liking :P

When we received the check they had added over $20 for the sides. When we questioned this we were told pasta dishes dint get the sides. I pointed out on the menu how it said all entrees receive sides and the manager said that we should have known a pasta dish doesn't come with sides. He said the menu is not a contract!! And was extremely rude!!!! The food was decent but do not go to this restaurant. The server clearly knew we were ordering the standard sides and didn't clarify and then you add the very rude management! Horrible, horrible!!!!!

The chicken was dry and the spicy was our favorite. The ribs were just ok and very sweet. The kids enjoyed their chicken and waffles My wife didn't like her pulled pork. The favorite was all of the appetizers. The waitress was super nice and very helpful. It took awhile for our main courses to come out. Cute decor inside with a bar and about 10 tables.

We started with a couple drinks and an appetizer from the happy hour menu. She was nice enough to let us order a second round before happy hour ended but waited until we finished our first drinks to make them. The fried green tomatoes were absolutely delicious and probably some of the best I've ever had. She said they pickle the tomatoes before they fry them. For dinner, I had the gumbo with a side of mac and cheese. It was fantastic and the perfect portion size. My colleague had the ribs with sides of a biscuit, coleslaw, and brussel sprouts. I was able to take a few bites and it was all great. We didn't have a single complaint throughout our meal. Overall, cute restaurant right off the main road from Aspen to Glenwood Springs. Plenty of parking, small clean dining area, and a beautiful small bar with a TV. We will definitely be back!

After my 1st day snowboarding, due to our lack of snow this winter, Vail had the best forecast, and…read moreI happily rode 7 runs in 2-hours, and was then starving, after also skipping lunch. Since I'd parked at Lions Head, before I returned to Denver, I considered the Vail Chophouse, as their menu looked delicious, however when I went inside, the live music was so loud - even with my noise-canceling headphones still in- that I still couldn't hear, and knew I'd blow out my ear drums. Enter: Montauk Seafood Grill, the perfect antidote, with an equally appealing menu, and a much more serene ambiance. :-) Given I was famished, I asked my wonderful server, Brenn, for recommendations, and she was - hands down - one of the best servers I've had, in a long time. She was friendly, attentive, honest, and an all around delight. I started by asking her suggestion, as to if I should order the "Blood Moon" or "Happy Coconut" mocktail, and she recommended the Blood Moon, which was delicious! I love Blood Orange, and it had the perfect combination of mint, to be both sweet & sour. I needed a mocktail, given I was driving back to Denver, after dinner. She then brought me delicious Rosemary Sourdough and Citrus Butter, as a starter, which was fantastic, especially given I needed all the carbs, from skipping lunch, riding so much, and from fasting the night before, for a prior medical appointment, that morning, in Denver, hence my late start, snowboarding. Then I ordered - and loved - the Point Reyes Blue Cheese Crusted Filet Mignon, medium rare, with the most delicious asparagus I've ever had, and I was grateful that they could make my truffle potatoes, whipped, instead of hash brown style. I ended my delicious dinner with a cappuccino, for the drive home. Perfection!
