First time here. Got Bagel with Sliced Nova Lox and Any Cream Cheese.

Food came out fast. Place is clean. I want to try more things on their menu. Nice neighborhood spot. Seating inside and out. Maybe too many tomatoes on my lox. And not enough capers.

    Fantastic

I come here 3 times a week, Fast Service, respectful service, and great food! Highly recommend to everyone looking for a great breakfast place to spend their morning.

So what. It's a lot of food smoke. When you leave you smell like grease. Otherwise the staff they are nice polite Inside clean but every once and a while they can wipe down the tables. Also the sidewalks are very dirty they could use a steam spray. Food good Good customer service and I will be back. Thank you. Oh yea since I've been here about one hour it's a Lady behind the counter drinking coffee and just standing there. She has a green mug with black gloves. Oh now she working but she did not change her gloves. Minus one stat.

Bagels and coffee place. Breakfast and lunch menu. It's a nice destination when you need to fill your belly.

We moved here from New England last year and have truly been disappointed by all the bagels we have eaten here in Florida. Just not the same! Until we found Makeb's. The bagels are soft, fresh and absolutely delicious. And toasted to perfection, freeze so well. We are so happy to have found them. The service was so fast. My egg and cheese sandwich on an Asiago bagel was ready in minutes. So fast. And so delicious. The restaurant was clean with plenty of seating and lots of space. Have definitely found our go to bagel place!!

Everything bagel toasted with lox and extra cream cheese! Yum!!

One of my new favorite breakfast spots! True New York style bagels! Fair prices, friendly staff! When I get by there to have lunch one of these days soon and check out their deli sandwiches!

This is my 3rd time needing minor adjustments on an order that I've placed. When I spend my hard earned money on take out, I expect to get what I ordered. I dislike not toasted bread, and this is what I got. A message for whoever did this " if you don't like your job, quit and find something you like, don't take it out on the customers ". I didn't have time to return, so I removed the side not toasted. I did check my order, it looked perfectly toasted until I got to my destination and saw the other side. Staff meeting needed. Other than that I like it there

I only asked for the bagel to be split in half, not toasted and definitely, not burnt!!

While Makeb's is one of my favorite places to pick up breakfast, I have recently been disappointed with their skill when following directions!! I asked them to only split my bagel. I wanted to eat it later. But they toasted and burned my bagel!!! And for the cost of breakfast, it really makes me upset. Sometimes I have asked for an omelette with ham and cheese only, only to get to work and have peppers AND onions in my omelette. I really wish they would follow directions!!!

Nice staff. Good variety of bagels. Ugh. Got our orders wrong. Not toasted. I got an egg sandwich on Asiago but really like it toasted. Hubby ordered nova locks on Asiago, toasted & got plain cream cheese. Decent parking & sitting space. Seemed busy. Just really frustrated that we don't get what we ordered & paid for.

Very "bridge and tunnel" and more "Joisey", not New York at all, at least not Manhattan. Underwhelmed and actually annoyed.

IT came with a ginger lemonade, fresh kettle chips, and a delicious chocolate chip cookie with sea salt. omg. and of course a pickle too. This place is just next level. I cant wait to try the shop in the Gables and to also try some different sandwiches on the menu. Pro tip: place your order ahead of time because it will take about 20 minutes for them to make the sandwich.

Unfortunately, the food didn't live up to the setting. It was mediocre at best and honestly felt more on par with something you'd get at Olive Garden than at a restaurant with this kind of vibe and price point. On top of that, the service was quite slow, which made the overall experience feel even more underwhelming. If you're going for drinks, music, and ambiance, it may be worth a visit. But if you're expecting the food and service to match the atmosphere, it falls short.

We also got the Aussie Chicken Parma and it truly was the best I've ever had and I'm picky with chicken parm. We also loved their draft beer selection and the Hugo Spritz was more refreshing than usual as it had fresh citrus! The vibe is comfortable and relaxed without feeling forced. We came straight from the Palm Beach Zoo and so our cold crisp beers and Espresso Martinis were soooo refreshing. We tried the Hummus Plate and Kung Pao Fried Cauliflower and loved them both. The hummus had feta cheese mixed in and thick toast, almost like a Texas toast, to accompany, plus salty green olives, . The cauliflower wasn't too sweet and had a good green dipping sauce. The menu has a lot of comfort food like options. For mains, we had the mini "Big" Brekkie (fried hard), Fish and Chips, and Mushroom Toast. They were good. The payment was a bit glitchy. We wanted to split the bill and my friend basically gave up trying to figure out how to pay with the table QR codes. I tried to change my wireless to the restaurant's after the "Confirm" payment button was non-responsive. Finally, our server let me pay with the station and my friend Zelle'd me half. Isla & Co describes itself self as a taste of Australia and is oriented toward coffee, brunch, lunch, dinner and cocktails. The inside of the restaurant is bright and very echoey. It's filled with green plants.

I just want to touch base about my most recent visit to Lenora's. I've been to this location about three times. This is the location on Dixie Highway. They have open air seating, which is really nice on most evenings. This particular evening we arrived about 30 minutes before they were scheduled to close more like 35 minutes before they were scheduled to close at 10 PM. It was a Friday night. We ordered a pizza and the rigatoni with mushrooms and cream sauce and I wanted to add a piece of salmon to it. After we sat down, my boyfriend's pizza came out in about seven minutes maximum. It was piping hot. The cheese was kind of sloppy and all over the place. It didn't really look like it was made with love. But he said it was good. My food however, took about 20 to 25 minutes longer than his pizza did. He was done eating his entire pizza before my food came out. That's never a good situation. They could've at least warned us of that, or let us know that that would be the case if they didn't realize it until they started making the food. There were only two other tables there. Once my food did come out, the salmon that I added for protein was almost $15. Obscene! I could get almost 3 pounds of salmon for that amount. It was maybe a 6 ounce piece maybe. And when they brought it out, it was raw in the middle. So I had to send it back and that was not met with a positive attitude, even though we brought up the issue with a very positive attitude despite having to wait almost 30 minutes for me to even get my food after my boyfriend had finished his pizza. They brought the salmon back and when they returned it, the employee was very pleasant and asked if I wanted to check it first. I ended up eating half of the pasta and packing the rest up to take home because by this time it was a few minutes after 10 o'clock and we didn't want to sit there as the only table left when we knew that they were obviously ready for closing time. One thing I must say is that I think divine intervention kept me in a great mood because they played my favorite journey song, they played my favorite song of all time, which is Tears for Fears. Everybody wants to rule the world, and then they played Bob Seger, who is definitely the artist who would've been my boyfriend or at least my celebrity crush had I've been born a few years earlier. Anyway, that's me giving it to you Straight No Chaser. Enjoy!

But there's a connector behind the store to another lot that's easier to exit, and if you're quick on a takeout, you can probably park there too (before the tow truck comes). I was a Jon Smith virgin...until today! Can't tell you how many times I've passed this place heading to and from West Palm Beach/Palm Beach island. I thought it was mostly another cold sub place (which they have). Didn't realize steak is their thing. They do it well. You really can't get this quality of meat at other fast food spots. Had a footlong classic (steak, onions, cheese, mayo, + shredded lettuce). Was delicious. The meat tastes fresher and juicier than Subway. The bread/meat ratio was good. Came out quick. Stayed hot on a 20-minute drive home. FWIW, the seating/ambience is uninspiring. Seems pricey at over $15, but I definitely enjoyed the sub. May now try another sandwich or two, and the supposedly "famous" fries (claiming to be better than Five Guys?). Anyway, glad I finally satisfied my curiosity.

The chicken was badly overcooked--dry, tough, and nearly inedible. For the price, the quality was unacceptable. Freshness and quality are the bare minimum you expect from a sandwich shop, and this order missed the mark in every way. I won't be ordering from Jon Smith Subs again, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone considering it. Save your money and order from one of the many other places that actually serves fresh, hot food.
