I LOVE THIS PLACE! I was a regular at Beth's until I realized Malibu Nails was their sister store. Malibu is much closer to me so I made the switch a few months ago. The quality of everyone's work is excellent. The staff is friendly and they are almost always busy! It's a good idea to make an appointment ahead of time, but they do take walk-ins when they can. It's $22 for a gel mani and $19 for a pedi which is an absolute steal. They have a great selection of colors to choose from as well. My gel manicure always lasts at least two weeks without any chips. You can pay for the services with a card but they only accept tips in cash. Love this nail salon and I highly recommend it to everyone! read more

I am a tough one to please, having done my own manicures for over 10 years because I couldn't find someone that I thought was worth paying for when I felt that I could do better on myself. Everyone here does a clean and beautiful job, but my 2 favorites are Hannah and Will, the young girl and young guy. They are the best with nail art. My manicures stay nice until I get them done again, usually every 2 weeks. I don't see myself going back to doing my own manicures any time soon, so happy with this place. read more

Wasn't a big color selection. Came here for acrylic nails. Asked for coffin and they didn't know how to. So I asked for almond shaped and she said no because the nail would be too long. I am so upset because I frankly don't care if it means I get long nails because I'm used to that but she said no. Ended up getting regular square shape acrylics and I am not satisfied. Nails go too wide at the end and I HATE when acrylics do that. Definitely going to go to my regular nail place and get it fixed. read more

I came in on October 23, 2019 Mia did my pedicure and it was AWFUL!!! First of all she cut my big toe while attempting to take off my gel polish on my feet, she then proceeded to use alcohol because she forgot to do the callus removal prior to washing my feet. She didn't even ask me what type of pedicure I wanted. I then had to wait an additional hour to get a fill-in even though I called ahead for an appointment. I would tell anyone who wants a good experience to RUN!!! They are horrible and that is me being nice. read more

This place is horrible! I asked for a gel manicure and the guy was so rough with me. The problem was he was more concerned with everything happening within the salon that he didn't pay attention to me. This resulted in numerous cuts on both of my hands. Because of the cuts, I told him I would rather proceed with polish. I asked for a clear polish so I could leave. He ignored me and tried to continue with the gel manicure (he walked away to grab the machine and gel polish.) The salon then had the audacity to charge me for a full manicure although I didn't receive the entire service (cleaning under the nail, conditioner, etc.) Worst customer service. The manicurist I saw was so touch she stabbed me with her metal tool multiple times and really made my cuticles bleed! Ouch! I had a pedicure as well and after removing the polish noticed discolored nails. I have never had a fungal problem before this! Jaime is my favorite there, but there are a couple other girls that do great pedicures and foot massage. This is the cheapest place in town to do gels that I have found. It is $5-$10 less than most other salons. In addition to that I like that they offer you soda or water or coffee with every service, they have a TV, a reward card for frequent pedicures and they are open Sundays. As far as the girl that had a bad experience because of the wait, that stinks, but I have gone there since they opened and I have never had to wait more than 10 minutes. Maybe give them another shot especially since they are so close to you and ask for Jaime. :) read more

I decided to give the new owners a chance after having supported the salon previous owners for several years. When I arrived for my appointment the person I requested had called out and I was given a replacement. I liked the color he was doing on acrylic nails on the person before me so I asked for that too. I was also not given the person I made an appointment with for my pedicure but she was in the middle of someone and I couldn't wait. For the nails they came out fine what wasnt fine was that when you asked to pick a color they didnt tell me the colored powder was $15 more. I would never pay that especially now that I know to back fill it in the future I'm stuck with that color or have to take it all off. Let's get to the pedicure... I said from the word go do not cut my nails. They have to be straight across or the can get ingrown. Just file. Well they put some stupid pillow in everyone lap now and I couldn't see what the hell was going on. I asked for a french pedicure and when I got outside I asked my friend why do my toes look like frowny faces... because he cut and rounded the sides. He just did whatever he wanted and I was so mad. I called the next day to complain about the extra charged, and got the guy who did my nails he said "oh you cant afford it" I said it's not the point you cant upcharge someone and not tell them. He replied no one wants to hear extra for this extra for that. It's my hard earned money how about that... I see this place lasting another week. I am super happy with my nails! The prices are reasonable. Especially for a gel manicure. They were nice and the thing I appreciated the most was how clean they were! Just recently graduating from a cosmetology school and learning about proper disinfecting and foot spas made me not want to go to a lot of nail salons. Tried this place twice but never again. First experience: I brought my sister and niece who were visiting from CT- my niece is adopted and of a different race then my sister and I. The nail tech asked if my niece was my sister's "real daughter?" Enough said. Went back the second time because NY Nails was closed and I really needed my nails done for a baby shower that afternoon.
