She was shaking and struggling to even put my tips on for my acrylic full set. She place one of my tips on crooked and I told her and she tried to pull it off with her fingers. I snatched my hand back and told her she could not pull it off like that. She then proceeded to file it off to replace it. She was barely putting enough glue to make the tips stay on. Once she started to apply the acrylic powder she had so many holes and it was totally lumpy and thin. She finished one hand and it was terrible, she then tried to start my next hand and I asked her was she going to fix this hand first? She was confused and asked did I want it thicker? I told her no I wanted her to make the acrylic smooth and even. I then asked for the manager so I could get somone to do my nails that actually knew what they were doing. The manager came and tried to say she wasn't finished yet. I told her I am a licensed Cosmetologist and this lady clearly does not know what she is doing. She switched me to a new technician so he could finish my nails. I still thanked the other lady, I just could'nt pay $85 for nails that looked like trash. The new technician finished my other hand and tried to fix the hand the first technician messed up. I ended up getting decent nails with a beautiful design and I was actually happy even though it started off rocky. Well less than 24hrs on Saturday my first nail broke, Then Sunday my 2nd nail broke, and finally on Monday my 3rd nail broke. They all broke in the same place, where the tip was. Like I said earlier the lady was struggling gluing my tips on. So I went to the Salon on Tuesday when I got back in town, the manager wasn't there, so I came back on Wednesday. She told me they would take all my nails off and re-do them because we were worried the rest would start breaking at the tip. So I made an appointment for Thursday. Well when I get there Thursday the technician refused to do my nails, saying that they was scared that it would happen again. I asked the manager why would you tell me they would do it over and now refusing to fix their mistakes. She offered me a refund, but now I am extremely upset. I changed my plans to have my nails done. Now it's 4th of July weekend my nails are messed up and now I have to pay extra for someone to take my nails off just to get them done over. I will never come back to this establishment, I should have trusted the other reviews and not waste my time, money, and energy here. Please make sure you speak up when someone is doing your nails, everyone here is clearly not licensed and DOES NOT have the experience!

Many of my nails are like this with huge gaps between the plastic tip and natural nail. They feel loose and look unnatural.

Horrible experience just to start off. I went in there about an hour before they were about to close to get a manicure. They we're pretty empty so I was able to just walk in and pick out a color. Overall, the manicure wasn't that bad; except for a really painful rubbing of my hands where the manicurist kept on pushing his thumbs into a bone on my hand. Hard to describe but extremely painful. Good polish and the rest of the shenanigans, but when it was almost over; the man, who I could barely understand due to his very think accent, told me to come in earlier next time for a pedicure. Not like it was any of his business about how my toes were considering I had just got them done the week before. As we were about done, he was the last one there and all of the other employs had left. He then told me that it was $16 when they advertise their manicure to be $12, I didn't want to argue with it since I was also in a hurry to leave. He then takes my $20 dollar bill and plays around with the cash register, he then ASKS me how much of a tip I would like to give him. I have never ever had someone ask me that, I was astonished. He then says that he cannot figure out the cash register and says he doesn't know what to do. I told him to keep my $20 dollars and I walked out. I do not ever plan on going back to that nail salon considering that was that most I've ever paid for a manicure before. I do highly recommend NY nail salon in the LA Fitness shopping center, they are very good and very well priced. read more

Stopped in unexpectedly on a Tuesday afternoon about 3ish. Got right in for 2 pedicures cost $23/each. Their pedicures are better than many $50+ pedicures I've paid for. My friend & had a pedicure w/massage chair. Each foot was quicky gone over for cuticle treatment. They went back over any trouble areas pointed out without attitude. Then cuticle solution was applied a 2nd time as each toe nail was carefully gone thru with tools. Then they applied foot scrub, used special scrubber to remove dry skin from heels. Feet rinsed & warmed oil w/lotion was applied as calves + feet were massaged. (Massage was rushed & lame) A single hot towel was placed on legs & lotion/oil was wiped off. Then our toes were painted & finished with nice clear coat. Temporary flip flops were put on us & away we went. read more

Dishonest business!!. August 29 (2026) our son came into Nail Palace to get a pedicure (pedicures…read moreare necessary as our son has cerebral palsy and thus is unable to cut his toenails himself). Jackie provided pedicure. At the end of service, Jackie first ran our son's bank visa debit card as a POS credit. She said their payment machine was old, had been acting up and that the transaction did not go through. She said she needed to run out son's visa debit bank card again a second time-- which she did; this second time as a debit withdrawal transaction. The next day our son checked his bank account online and he noted that both charges to Nail Palace actually went through. We printed out a copy of his online checking account showing that mistaken double charge to Nail Palace on August 29th. On Monday August 31st, while our son was at work I attempted to go to Nail Palace to show them the double charge and get a refund on one. Unfortunately there was a handwritten note taped to the door letting patrons know that owner Vicky was out of the country and would not be be back until Monday September 14th. On Monday September 14th our son went into Nail Palace -- explained to owner Vicky -- what had happened and showed her the copy of his online checking account activities which clearly denote that he was charged $28 two times on August 29th (see pic below) Owner Vicky outright dismissed our son and refused to refund him the mistaken double charge-- or at the very least offer him a gift card for a future pedicure (as he already paid for it.) There were other patrons present in the nail salon and our son felt embarrassed by the argumentative and attacking tone owner Vicky was directing towards him. Our son's physical disability affects his physical movement and his speech (to some degree) thus, it may give others the impression that he is ignorant (which he is not!!) and it certainly makes him vulnerable. I am disgusted that this business did not do the right thing. While it was a hassle to have to pursue a correction on this double charge, our son was understanding (as were we) that 'mistakes happen.' Yet, when faced with the facts of the mistaken double charge this business owner Vicky-- with purpose and intent -- chose to do wrong. Dishonest and wrong on so many levels!!
