The Creamy Spicy Crab and Shrimp was rich, flavorful, and perfectly prepared, while the edamame was a simple but great start to the meal. We had much more but these are always great go-tos! The pineapple martinis are always a hit and paired perfectly with dinner. Between the exceptional service, beautiful oceanfront setting, and consistently amazing food, it's easy to see why Nobu Malibu remains one of our favorite restaurants. We'll definitely be back. Shibuya is willing to make dishes to your taste, so if you don't want something on a particular dish or you want a special dish not on the menu, just tell your server. Everything can be customized which I really like. Sugarfish by comparison is extremely simple and utilitarian and has a factory quality to it that Shibuya is the complete opposite to. They really shouldn't be compared. Their request was simply accommodated. Interesting how minorities are treated here compared to others in this area.
