Today I ordered a pizza medium I actually asked for garlic on it as it was one of the vegetables offered. I was assuming that it would be garlic cloves, you know roasted on top instead it was garlic from a jar all through the sauce and was nasty because it was bitter since it was burnt not happy. Also, I can't believe I'm saying this, but they put too much red sauce on. I literally scoop a full spoonful off of the edge of one slice it was just so much sauce, It was nauseating. Normally I like their pizzas and I'm pretty happy with them, but I will never ask for garlic again, wish they would put garlic cloves on and let those roast. That would be really nice. This place has real hit or miss days, and I am wondering if it new owners. read more

Been a customer for over 8 years, always been a fan. However this past year- quality has suffered. I get the higher prices due to everything has gotten so expensive. Don't mind paying more- but can I get the quality pizza I did before all the higher cost? I feel lil Cesar's is better at this point at least it has cheese on the pizza. Yummy pizza! We received a $20 redeemable coupon in the mail and that encouraged us to try this pizza joint in our neighborhood. We ordered a simple pepperoni pizza and we enjoyed it. Nothing too unique or different, but I did like the flavor of the crust, pepperoni and sauce. We'll check them out again soon. From others' reviews I guess the in-house/ pickup service is worse than delivery because besides my missing condiments, this was the best pizza I have had so far in Sac. I chose Mama Mia because most reviews were good and they have TONS of affordable deals. I ordered a large pizza with pepperoni, garlic and artichokes with light sauce and it was PERFECT! Great size and the flavor was soooo delicious!! I also ordered Buffalo wings and they were great as well. A lot of places serve low quality tasting chicken or the sauce is gross, but the ones I received were really good. Sauce was a bit excessive, but not to the point where it was super messy. This was picked up and delivered by DoorDash the first time I have used the service... it arrived quickly in an orderly and professional manner... I must say I was looking to get chili rellenois ... I decided to shop on DoorDash and I happen to see buy one get one free Promotion going on at Mamma Mia... I am a cheapskate, so I thought I'd give it a try .. I ordered a medium pizza, combination, onion, garlic, green peppers, etc. ... I must say it was one of the best ones I have encountered since moving here to Sacramento & having a second one to freeze is a great deal good thing to do.. definitely you must try.. I also tried their lasagna. It is nine dollars per hour. ... as you can see in the photograph it is quite messy to say the lease... But damn, it was very good. The sauce was excellent. It had meat and lots of lots and cheese. .. you must definitely give it a try. I tried the honey cake. honey cake. Haven't had this before, but it was delicious. .. We decided to take a chance and try Mama Mia's and I'm so glad we did. We've only been here twice but both times have been the exact same. Delicious. The pizza sauces are robust and full of flavor. Their garlic cheese bread is flavorful as well. This pizza place is our current pizza place and I don't see it changing anytime soon. Never patronize this business since 2017 I've come to this establishment. The pizza was made incorrect and the owner agreed to remake the food. Service was very poor, the ambiance wasn't sanitary after watching workers go from the register then back to make pizza. Police were called and the owner became irate and refused to return my money or give me a refund. read more

I ordered mama Mia through Uber eats. My pepperoni feast pizza, chicken wings, and garlic bread were made and delivered in a prompt manner so I was able to eat everything with it was still warm. The pepperoni feast pizza had 2 layers of cheese and pepperoni which was pretty cool but the butter or olive oil they put on the crust is really greasy. The sauce on the wings were only covered on one side and the quality of chicken they use is poor. I ate a couple wings with broken bones and the chicken was brown which kind of grossed me out. I also didn't really enjoy the seasoning they put on the garlic bread (it's almost like pesto but not? Idk), but some people might enjoy it! read more

I ordered 2 pizza to be delivered last night. When I called in the order I gave the guy on the phone my credit card info. I gave him the info three times and he told me the card was declined 3 times . My friend used her card and it was accepted. The pizza was delivered and I was going to check about my card in the morning. In the meantime I got a text from my bank saying MaMa Mia's had charged me 4 times for the pizza order. Also, right after the incident Simone tried to charge 500 dollars at both target and Best Buy. I know it was the employee at MaMa Mia's. I will be going into talk to management next week. This place is disappointing. I Door dashed two pizzas that was ok (and why I gave them 2 stars)but I also ordered spaghetti w/meatballs and a "Greek" salad. The salad was not a Greek salad and I highly doubt they know what a Greek salad contains. Google Greek salad. Very simple ingredients and it does not consist of ranch dressing. You can't just add feta to a salad and call it Greek. The spaghetti was at least a day old. The noodles were hard, there wasn't even enough sauce to call it spaghetti (and the meatballs were not edible. It was the saddest spaghetti ever. Whatever sauce I could taste, came out of a Prego jar, and that's reaching. I do not recommend this place and anyone who believes this place is good has no real palette. read more
