I ordered the food as soon as they opened so I know they were busy enough to mess up the food. All in all I have to give this place a 2/5 because spending $45 on pizza and calamari for a subpar meal is not acceptable. Will I revisit maybe in person but never again a pickup order.

Upon arrival, I noticed the patio was filled with lovely people in good company and conversations with their to go boxes of food and drinks having a grand time. It was such a positive environment. Once we figured out where we were going (the KR Steakhouse is next door and we were approaching the KROG's sign from the parking lot) Sarah, the host, greeted us warmly. While it was going to be about a 30-minute wait to get seated inside (which was our preference since we wanted to experience the restaurant inside as well) we could order drinks and peruse the menu while waiting. There was a patio table available so we chose to sit there and our drinks were delivered promptly. Such a nice way to wait for a table! It didn't even feel like we were waiting. Once we went inside and were seated, we had a corner table. It was a cozy spot and while it was flanked by other tables, we didn't feel our conversation and personal space, or others' for that matter, were on top of each other. Also, when businesses are closed, they usually lock the doors so that no one can enter.
