    Veggie Platter & omelet

I recently visited for the first time after many years. It was very good & even more reasonable in price. I went during lunch on a Friday and didn't have a wait. The server was nice & prompt but could've been a little more knowledgeable about the menu/what food was like. The food was delicious. I got the veggies platter. So many great options to choose from & I loved what I got. I was stuffed! My mom loved her omelette too. It definitely won't be so long between visits. I'm looking forward to going back soon & could recommend you check it out as well

Delicious food with a friendly staff that brings out hot food fast. I love the interior. It's like a 50s diner and it's too cute! I got a BLT with an over hard egg and my boyfriend got a #3 breakfast with sausage and grits. Both were delicious. Will definitely be coming back.

I wanted something warm and comforting for breakfast. So I decided to come here. Great decision. The staff was super welcoming and friendly. But let's talk about that Omlette that was made to perfection. I ordered the Veggie Omlette and added Bacon & Sausage. Super delicious is all I have to say. The way the Omlette was put together, you knew immediately the cook knew what they were doing. Add the biscuits and blackberry jam, you definitely won't regret it. A great breakfast with the diner feeling and great service. I will definitely be back.

We came on Wed night before going to Sprit of Christmas show at Prestonwood Baptist Church nearby. Great meal with plenty of leftovers before the show. Prompt service. Not too crowded.

This place is okay. Food is decent, and portions are huge. Chicken fried steak was average. Tasty but nothing to write home about. Baked potato was huge and good. The only disappointment was the key lime pie. Not well made. Pretty to look at. Not so great to eat. Seems like typical middle of the road diner food.

I really enjoyed the American cuisine here--great food and a nice atmosphere overall…read more I ordered the French onion soup and the Reuben eggrolls. The French onion soup seems to be popular here, and as soon as I saw that buttery-looking pastry puff baked on top, I knew I had to order it! It was definitely hearty, with plenty of onions (which I love). However, it was a bit saltier than I prefer. I do wish there were an option to substitute the onion soup with a chowder, like clam or corn chowder. The Reuben eggrolls were surprisingly good! I'm used to traditional Asian eggrolls, so I really liked this creative twist. The house-smoked pastrami, sauerkraut, and melted Gruyère cheese worked so well together. They tasted amazing with the spicy Russian dipping sauce (which I appreciated wasn't too spicy). It was such a flavorful and memorable dish! I'm glad I gave it a try.

My double cheeseburger emphasized the meat, well seasoned, right amount of pickles & greens, not overwhelmed with sauce. The tallow fries were as good as it ever gets: crispy, soft inside, must be 2x fried. Outside square had great World Cup fan area. We watched Colombia vs Uzbekistan. My team Croatia lost to England previously, but Haywire soothed my disappointment with an excellent dining experience. BTW: $638.04 with a 20% tip. Great value. That said, food is subjective, and what didn't work for me may be exactly what someone else enjoys. We went in on a Sunday afternoon so it was not too busy at the time. My girlfriend and I like to be seated at a "low top" because she has back issues with climbing up into higher seating. We don't mind waiting for that as inside "low tops" are limited. The hostess was very nice, as they always are. She took us to the middle of the venue to seat us and then walked away while we were waiting on our server. I stood up to walk around the table so that I could sit next to her instead of across from her. She stood up to move over and pulled out the chair next to her so she could sit back down. At that moment the new general manager walked up, and without offering any explaination, took the chair out of my girlfriend's hand and said, "We need this table for another party." He walked away and left us standing there without offering us another solution, and apology or calling the hostess over to seat us elsewhere. We were left standing there dumbfounded and looking around unsure of what to do. We started walking back toward the front of the venue as we spotted another open "low top" near there. At that same time the female hostess saw what had happened to us, and she started to walk toward us. Meanwhile, another male server - acting as host - seated some people at the new table we were about to get to with the hostess. We got mad and said, "it feels like someone is playing a game on us!" The hostess apologized as she could see we were aggitated. It was not her fault, and we do not blame her. We blame the rudeness of the general manager. We left to go eat somewhere else. This is not the first incident with this general manager, though. A few days prior, we were eating in there and had a good vantage point of one of the side kitchen entries off to the left of the bar toward the ffront half of the venue. A bus boy sloshed water all over the floor while moving wet dishes in a container back into the kitchen. He didn't have a chance to clean it up because he was buy walking back and forth doing other things. No big deal. The general manager walks up and proceeds to yell at another female server about the water who had absolutely nothing to do with the spill After she walks away, he did not take any real care to clean the spot up himself. He comes back after a minute to clean it up but not with a mop or anything. He takes two towels off the bar and mushes it around on the floor with his foot. He , then, proceeds to kick the wet towels under the bar before walking away. Talk about a safety and hygene issue. This kind of left a bad taste in our mouth. He does not treat his venue or his staff very nicely. We wantedd to get up and tell the other female server that we were sorry for her. This venue would be great if they would fire this rude and sloppy general manager. It's a shame because this used to be one of our favorite venues to go to all the time. The experience is starting to feel cheapened and sullied now.
