Got the mami's breakfast and It was delicious ! The server Lia was super nice and attentive as well. She was the only one working and managing all tables nicely w a smile. Went here for bachelorette brunch on a Saturday morning with reservations. Our server, Lia, was incredible and so attentive to our table & needs. She continually checked in on us and made sure everything was in order. The food was also delicious, I got the steak & eggs and the steak was cooked perfectly and seasoned wonderfully! Make a reservation because they're busy! Love the design, decor and overall vibe. Celebrated a birthday brunch here and saw several others doing the same. The owner cheerfully greeted us and was our server. You can feel his pride for the business when speaking to him about the work he and his wife have poured into making Mamimosas. Food: Empanadas are excellent. Queso fundito with chorizo were amazing. Salads are huge! Wasn't a big fan of the pork bites unfortunately. All potato dishes were perfectly cooked & flavored. Steak sandwich was a bit heavy on the spread. Omelette was savory and full of flavor. I definitely recommend coming here! read more

Very terrible !! We came here for Mother's Day at 11:30am very packed which is understandable we waited 25 min and get seated. We sit down all 7 of us and everyone gets there food expect for my mother . Like are you kidding me !!!! In our visit. 3 adults One child -6 years old Very hip local location. Not a lot of parking available. There was no wait time on a Sunday at 10:15am. The place was at about %65 percent capacity when we arrived so it was perfect. They take reservations but walk ins are welcomed. Perfect spot for locals. Bring your girlfriend/wife here every Sunday for a quick date. Ladies this is the spot to come with your childhood friends and gossip real quick and get back to the families. Every dish was delicious. Every drink was exquisite. I never had to look for my server. My cup was full at all times. My plate was hot and was brought to me quickly. Our bill was 112$ before the tip. Filling and delicious brunch food! Their mimosas are wonderful, the perfect amount of champagne taste in each sip. Their service is a hit or miss, such as this recent time around I ordered the Breakfast Burrito and they forgot to give me salsa with it. Because we went on a Sunday, it was busier so the staff was super busy with tables and so it took longer to flag down someone to bring a cup of salsa. Our server, I forgot her name but she wears her hair in a ponytail and she's super sweet (she's also served us a couple times already) asked us for feedback on our visit that day because she knows we're regulars here. It's great that the staff and management are open to suggestions for improving their customer service and daily operations. read more

Initially surprised by the aesthetics of this place. It's like walking into a restaurant in West LA. This is truly a neighborhood gem and I could see why reservations are suggested during peak hours. Guava Fresca -- Refreshing guava juice garnished with fresh fruit. Not overly sweet. Mamas Ropa Vieja -- It comes with black beans and plantains but I opted for extra rice and I had no regrets. The rice to ropa vieja ratio was just the right amount. The shredded beef swimming in the tangy, tomato based sauce brought warmth and happiness. Let's not forget the beef's fork-tender consistency. This is actually the second time me and my girlfriend have been here and on round two it only got better!!! Mamimosas is a great spot form breakfast and dinner from what we have has so far. Parking can be a pain because of everything in the plaza but it worth it. The restaurant has a beautiful ambiance with light colors, foliage and a cultural vibe. The service has been fantastic both times, every host has been wonderful with suggestions and checking in on us. I'm always grateful for the hosts even when it's crazy busy they still are on top of everything. The food.... well my girlfriend got the Steak plate black beans and some Chimi Churri and itnwas delicious. The stake was cooked med rare and had great flavors. Even the beans had an amazing flavor to them. We also had their plantains which were pretty delicious..I got a poached salmon and I've never had one before. It was pretty tasty with the exception of some dry parts but other than that I'd get it again. From their drinks to they food Mamimosas delivers a wonderful experience with great flavors and a light hearted restaurant. read more

Where do I start, From the second we walked in after finding this place it was nothing but a family vibe! The way this staff Leah Laura and Josh all spoke to us and from the second we sat was the most incredible experience. The food was over the top good the creative menu from my favorite cuisine of Cuba was far better than I have had in Miami. Great experience! Didn't wait too long on a Saturday around 11:30am. The server was very friendly. It's not like the other reviews I read. Their brunch menu had a lot of options, so it was hard to decide what to get lol. I ended up getting the Casuelita de chorizo. It was so good!!! Portion size was not bad. Comes with tortilla wrapped on the side. Great food presentation as well! They have fruit-infused water on the table. It was good! The server came to check a couple times to make sure everything was good. Paying and splitting the check was also super easy. They have a portable payment device in hand. The main downside is that it was quite loud, so it was hard to talk and hear the other person across. The tables were are a bit close together, but I didn't mind it too much. Parking was a bit difficult, but good thing I didn't have to wait too long to get a spot. I would love to come back here to try their other dishes! read more

I saw this place on Yelp and it looked really cute . I met up with my cousin that lives around the area for a quick brunch . The inside of this place is really cute the decor is very nice it has flowers on the ceilings . The service was okay I think they could have been a bit more attentive and friendly. I've had my eye on this restaurant and decided to brunch here today! The ambiance is so cute and comfy, It was giving tea and crumpets vibes. I love the fruit infused water it's so refreshing! I decided to order the Ropa Vieja and I don't regret my choice. The flavor profile is incredible and the beef is super tender. The dish is served in a bowl deep enough so all of those juices are mixed with the rice. The black beans are served separately and even those were delicious. The portion was perfect, I was able to box mine up for later. I highly recommend this dish. My date ordered the Brioche French Toast which he loved. It was topped with fresh fruit and whipped cream. The staff were kind to join tables together so we could be seated but because the table was long a the restaurant was quite noisy, it was a bit hard to hear people on the other side. This place is alright. Came here on a Saturday for brunch at 9:30am and I am glad we did because we just beat the crowd. Service was great and the ambiance and design of the place was also nice. Food was super quick, but I have a feeling so that they get through the brunch service quickly everything is already premade and when they fire for the order to be ready they just plate it. The reason I think this is because our food came out 5 minutes after we ordered and everything was room temp. For $15-$20 a plate, I would have at least liked some of the stuff reheated or made to order. Otherwise the flavors were still there and the coffee and food were tasty! Not sure if I would come again, but it's a nice brunch place to catch up with someone! read more

Food was amazing and so were the drinks! The inside is super pretty and the overal vibe is so cute. The only reason I am giving 4 stars is because they were REALLY slow. I'll admit I came at a busy time (11AM on a Friday) but I came with my 3 friends and it took them at least 20 minutes to take our drink order. On top that that, It took another 20 minutes to get our food order so we were there for a WHILE. read more

We started with bread. Not as good as I remember but it's there when you're waiting and if you have extra garlic sauce when you're done you've got something to dip and that's always a treat. The chicken for lunch is filling. The garlic flavor still good and strong. And I can say there's nothing like the plantains at this place. Just the best perfect sweet treat during the meal. I don't know when I'll be back but it won't be another ten years.

I absolutely love this place. From their drinks and food to the beauty of how it is decorated. The mimosa flight is great! I tried their mojito, which was delicious. The amount of alcohol was just right...you can taste it but it's not over bearing and it also wasn't weak. For food I tried the huevos rancheros and they were delicious. The tortillas were crunchy just how I love them, not soggy. My sister ordered the chilaquiles, so I got to try them. They have both green and red sauce. She chose the green sauce and it did not disappoint. I took off one star just because every single place where I have had chilaquiles always serves a generous portion (it's not an expensive food to make). Their portion was on the smaller side, not what I am used to seeing. I think they can add a few more chips to make it a better portion.....they lose one star there. My sister ordered the paloma, which I tried and also did not disappoint. This is a great place for a brunch date. I returned today, and I'm delighted to share that MommaMosas has truly exceeded expectations. The food remains absolutely amazing, and the service has genuinely improved. I'm extremely disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. I made a same-day reservation through Yelp, only to arrive and be told by the hostess that they could not accommodate me. Apparently, this has been an ongoing issue, as the hostess mentioned she has repeatedly asked the owner, Jorge, to disable same-day reservations on Yelp, but he has failed to take action. It's unacceptable for the restaurant to continue allowing same-day reservations when they clearly cannot honor them. This not only wastes customers' time but also creates a frustrating and unprofessional experience. If you can't comply with the reservations you're offering, fix the system. It's simple--stop accepting same-day bookings until you can fulfill them. Respect your customers' time and efforts. read more

The restaurant is absolutely beautiful--clean, modern, and very aesthetically pleasing! The food was good and nicely presented, which was a highlight. I confronted Jorge about letting those other groups in ahead of everyone else. His response was that he knew them personally and that they were friends of the restaurant owners. That explanation only made the situation worse. My wife had just finished a 14-hour hospital shift, and we came here hoping to enjoy the game together. Instead, we spent three hours waiting only to be treated as though our time didn't matter. What was most shocking was Jorge's attitude. He literally told me, "They won't do anything to me if you post this. I'm friends with the owner." If that's the mindset of management, it's no surprise customers are treated this way. It truly felt like only friends and family received special treatment while everyone else was left waiting without honesty or respect. I have no issue waiting when things are busy, but I do expect transparency, fairness, and professionalism. Unfortunately, this experience showed none of those qualities.
