Burgers is amazing. My family always comes here when we're in Mammoth. The service is friendly and SUPER fast - we always joke that they know in advance what you are going to order. I ordered the Chili Size burger (with onions & sour cream on the side (the onions are not chopped, but giant slices)) & it was delicious. The chili is spicy! I get the salad instead of fries. The salad is more like a full, rather than a side, salad. Others in my party ordered various burgers and everyone was happy. Everyone who asked for their burger well done was satisfied with no pink. The bacon is also cooked very well. We have had the BLT in the past & it's also very good. It's great that they have free parking. The ambiance is fun & energetic. Had the chili burger and fries and onion rings. They were ok. The chili was pretty good and the fries and onion rings were ok. The staff was nice and the atmosphere was lively. The one thing that stuck out to me that was odd and disappointing was that they have a 3% charge on credit cards if it was used. What's the point of that? Passing costs onto customer? Second time coming here, we visited last July and came again due to the variety on their menu :) We had 5 adults and 4 kids and the menu does offer a decent variety which was why we came back. I've eaten here twice. Both times we have had decent food. Service is fast and friendly. It seems more like a diner to me. I did order the bbq turkey sandwich (I even pointed at it) and I got the normal turkey sandwich. No biggie I'm sure they would have fixed it but they got busy. Overall, great experience. We sat at the bar. We were greeted right away. I ordered a beer and their Bison Steak Burger. Restaurant was busy. Staff were friendly. They have an upstairs area as well as downstairs. Bison Steak Burger 10/10. The grilled onions on top were delicious with the steak. My only complaint would be about the baked potatoe. I have to say it's ridicules to pay $22 for a 1/4 pound burger. C'mon!!! I chose another option instead. It was not much more meat but at least the short rib melt was you know not a grounded meat. The place needs to stay true to what makes a highly favorable restaurant in Mammoth for years. The menu prices are just not right. Either provide a decent portion like 1/3 lbs or more, or go back under $20. Anyway, I don't feel compelled to try it again. It's bar food and it cost me over $40 after tip and tax. read more

Came here for a group dinner. We sat upstairs which has a really nice and spacious dining room. All the tables are well spaced and not crowded together so even when it's busy there is still room for everyone. I had the short rib melt which came with either salad or fries, or half and half which is a great option. Food is quite delicious although a bit pricey but that seems to be the going rate in Mammoth. If you are gluten free will need to be very specific - one of our gluten free friends asked for no croutons in the salad and they still brought it with a piece of garlic bread on it. Overall a nice restaurant with great atmosphere and friendly servers. read more

Got dinner here an a Saturday night. It was close to our hotel and we wanted something in walking distance. We ordered some lemonade, a local kolsch, the seared tuna salad and the bison burger. The salad size is ridiculously large. The tuna was good and the dressing too, but they basically give you two pounds of salad as a base which doesn't make any sense to me. The burger was ok, but there is so much lettuce and tomato is cut so thick that you can hardly taste the beef. You should probably get the double burger, but it's already 20 plus for the regular one. Fries were really disappointing, tasted like they're from the frozen section. Putting a little bit more love into the sides goes a long way. For desert we ordered a piece of the mud pie. Once again, ginormous. Easily enough for 3-4 people. I'd rather they give you a smaller piece and cut the price. It tasted good, especially the dark layer, but just way too big. Service was great and staff made sure we have everything we need. Overall, a bit disappointing and seriously overpriced for the quality of food. Three stars mostly for the staff. read more

We came here for dinner on a Thursday night for a group of 8 and there was no wait. They have plenty of seating with a downstairs and upstairs. The upstairs is more of a bar vibe, while the downstairs is more of a traditional restaurant. The staff members were friendly and helpful! I ordered a Cheeseburger with half salad and half fries. Unfortunately my burger was too raw. I'm usually okay with some redness, but this one was way too raw and uncooked. I asked the server if they could cook it longer, and they accommodated me with a brand new burger. It did take about 15 extra minutes to get the new one, but by then, I was full from other people's dishes. The rest of the dishes we ordered were good. The portions are pretty big so you get your money's worth. I'll give them a chance another time, but I'm sorry, if your restaurant is called burgers, I'd expect my burger to be pretty good. Ok, after hiking to the top of Mammoth mountain my son and I needed some Subsidence to refuel our yum yum tank. We decided to split the regular cheeseburger. Thinking a $20 dollar burger would be on the fatty bang bang side we were kind of let down. Thin patty with some thousand island sauce. You can tell it was a frozen patty from Sysco and the fries were kind of over cooked in a batch so they were not fresh. If you want a place to come and pound beer and some burger and fries you are good to go I guess. On the plus side the place is really clean, and great customer service. read more

My husband and I went here because we were told to try their mud pie. We decided to split a burger and then share the mud pie. We had a bacon cheeseburger and added sautéed mushrooms on it. I like that the burgers are fresh beef, not frozen patties. It was a good burger, and my husband commented on how much he liked that the bacon was crispy. We had a great server. Brady was friendly and upbeat. Great personality. This would be a fun place to go with friends. If you'd like to watch sports, they've got screens in the dining and bar area. The mud pie was amazing! Two neighboring tables commented on how good our dessert looked, so before we dug in we gave them a piece to try. We all agreed that it's two thumbs up! The prices are a little high, but I feel like everything's high these days. The burger was about $22 plus toppings, and the mudpie was $18. Three or four people could definitely split that mud. If I could give negative stars I would have. I mean for a place called Burgers, you'd think they could make one. I'm not usually that harsh but that was hands down the worst burger I've ever had. My kid literally said I think they forgot my patty. Oh yea that cold weirdly piece of undercooked mashed beef hidden in the middle of a cold store bought bun with the sauce put on the side. This is NOT a hot juicy burger. All 4 were cold, hidden in a mess of cold crumbly bread and hastily made and oh yea for $20-$22 a pop!! You want a tourist trap, well here you've found one!! Bad bad bad. Sent our burgers back bad. Went home to eat whatever anything else edible we had bad. BAD!! Like they should not be serving this mystery meat to people BAD! We've been coming here for ever but not in a while. I noted only 3.7 stars and was amazed as we have never had a bad meal at burgers. All of the recent review are 4* or 5* which seems more appropriate. It seems that in March and April is when all the terrible rating occurred--dried out/old food-etc. I am updating my review as we had a spot on meal and experience last night. The service was excellent--happy employees who go the extra mile to make sure you have everything that you need/want. My Wife and I always share a full rack of baby back ribs--excellent--huge--comes with a salad that could feed 3 and a big baked potato with fixings. Ribs are tender, non fatty, perfect sauce-tangy but not spicy. As usual we both stuffed ourselves and still had a few ribs to take home (and all for $32.99)---what a deal!! Friends had a patty melt and a chili berger (open faced). The patty melt was piping hot (obviously just off the grill), good size, nice bread, beautifully grilled onions and MOIST. The chili berger was also a hit. For mammoth, the prices are actually better than most places and the food is "real" with impeccable service. 5* all the way. We will be back!! read more

I ordered the Asian Sesame salad and half chili fries and they were both huge! I wasn't even able to finish either, but both were really delicious. For the salad, there was no option to choose how I wanted my ahi to be cooked, but I received it rare. The chili fries were a little spicy (I love spice, so it may be too spicy for others). The employees were really kind to still seat us even though they were closing in 20 mins! Plenty of parking outside and it is a very casual diner. read more

Pretty unassuming and quiet spot, with not a lot of people compared to nearby bustling restaurants. We stopped in honestly as a bit of a filler between dinner and when we were meeting other friends for drinks, and had a nice time! We sat upstairs and just got drinks. Our server was nice and I felt like the drinks we got were actually quite strong. They really didn't skimp on the booze here. I got a Mammoth Margarita and it was balanced (not too sweet) and nice to sip on. They also had TVs on around the room, so we were able to enjoy some March Madness while we were there as well. We didn't realized it closed at 9pm, and we were prompted really gently by our server right around 9pm to confirm if we were ready to cash out or if we wanted anything else. (We were one of a few tables there.) He told us to take our time and feel free to hang out, but I just got a sense and checked their hours and realized they were closing. Stopped here on our way out of town for some lunch. My husband and I don't a chili size and soup, and our kids got kids meals. The portions were large, definitely could have had kids share. The chili size had a lot of potential, but the burger was so burned. Not like a deliberate blackening, but just straight burned. It was disappointing. HALF. the portion was huge ! definitely did not finish the chili cheese fries but they were very delicious. the chili had a hint of spice in it. my boyfriend and i were sharing the mammoth burger so we asked them to cut it in half. when they brought out the plates, i was amazed and grateful they had perfectly cut the burger and gave us each a plate with a side of salad. the staff here are truly wonderful and friendly and really does above and beyond! would recommend and will be back! read more
