    Chili

Food was good, nothing too special. Great layout, great TV placement to watch the game. Unfortunately service was not the best. We had a really great waitress but our food came out slow and one by one. My chili was already cold by the time my husband got his food. I didn't want to eat without him or be rude. We ordered a side of ranch (which costs extra) never came but we weren't charged. Our waitress was apologetic and we appreciated her but I would hope a place like this would be used to the rush and a little more prepared. Small stuff like steak didn't come with a knife, chili didn't come with a spoon, had to wait and ask for most things. Not sure we would come back on the next visit.

Bbq chips were good. Service was excellent.

The service was great. Very friendly. Happy hour menu has great options. We had the drink of the day, which was a mango margarita- great! Unfortunately the food was very just shy of average. We had sticky wings which looked great but super dry. Tritip skewers - same, great for pictures but noticeably chewy. Bbq chips were nice.

Good food , good service- efficient staff... ambiance is cozy... comfy, trendy... they have everyday happy hour 4-6pm. This place was recommended by a hotel staff... and it was worth the visit... Food have good portion and serving shareable. The tri tip skewers was a delight. Am not a fan of tri tip , but this one was an exception. Smokey, and flavorful... same with the ribs and the mango habanero chix wings, usually it's the peri peri wings- but since its super spicy... have to switch with flavors ...Another best seller is their corn bread with butter and hoNey... really such an experience in viLLage Mammoth area...

Pork Chops, Mac and Cheese, Brussel Sprouts, Chicken Soup

My husband and I went here last night. The service was friendly and regularly checked in with us. For drinks, I got the hot chocolate but with peppermint schnapps instead of the spicy flavoring. The chocolate was rich, and the drink was delicious, but it definitely served kid temperature, which meant it was cold after a few minutes. My husband got the Hot Toddy, which I ended up getting one of later as well. It wasn't overly sweet and was perfect for a cold night. The Mac and Cheese was amazing. It comes in a much larger portion than it appears. Side wise, I highly recommend it. My husband loved his pork chops and mashed potatoes. He said the apples on the pork chop made the dish for him. The Brussel sprouts and my chicken soup cane out with a "Hot plate" warning but wasn't very hot. The soup was kid temperature, and the Brussel sprouts were just room temperature out onto a hot plate. The Brussel sprouts were crispy, but we're pretty bland. My soup had lots of shredded chicken and large veggies, which were delicious, but the broth tasted like it came straight out of the carton. Definitely needed some fresh cracked pepper or herbs. I wouldn't pay $20 for this again. The table next to it had wings and wouldn't stop moaning about how good they were. Granted, they were pretty drunk, but I thought I would throw that in there as a recommendation. The waitress definitely should have cut them off when they started having trouble speaking. But its a vacation spot so . Overall, it's not a bad dinner place if you're in a pinch. They did seat us right away. It's pricey, but that's what you get so close to the mountain. A little more flavor and some warmer food versus warm plates would make me come back.

Tri tip sandwich + loaded Mac and cheese

It's ok. A nice place to grab a bite in the village. Inside was warm and modern. Plenty of seating. A few TVs over the bar to watch a game. I got the tri tip sandwich and loaded mac and cheese. I liked the tri tip sandwich. The bbq sauce had the right amount of sweetness. A good portion size too. The loaded mac and cheese was just ok. Didn't really taste any of the other loaded bits. Not really worth the $11 upcharge. Service was good. Friendly staff. Easy parking across the street in the village parking lot.

shrimp app between 2 different meals in the same week. One version, lightly battered/crispy. The second - overly battered/doughy.

If you love food, appreciate incredible ingredients, and enjoy truly special dining experiences, you have to visit SKADI. From the moment you walk in, the entire experience is top tier. The restaurant is intimate, beautifully decorated with Norwegian and Baltic art, and the open kitchen lets you watch Chef Ian and his sous chef masterfully execute dish after dish. It's calm, composed, and honestly just fascinating to watch. The staff is exceptionally well trained, but what impressed me most is that if they don't know an answer, Chef Ian is happy to come to your table himself. He spent time talking with us, answering questions, and making sure we were enjoying everything. He even told us he doesn't have a single wine on the list that he doesn't personally love. Every course was beautifully prepared and perfectly portioned so we could enjoy each one without feeling rushed or overwhelmed. My husband and I genuinely loved every single thing we ate. If you're anywhere near Mammoth Lakes, make a reservation. (No kids under 10, but I promise it's worth getting a sitter.) This is one of those meals you'll be talking about long after it's over.

We visited as a family of four and made reservations ahead of time after hearing so many great things--and we felt incredibly fortunate to secure a Sunday booking, especially since they're closed Monday through Wednesday. It ended up being the perfect way to begin our time in Mammoth. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, attentive, and efficient without ever feeling rushed. And the food? Absolutely divine. Every dish reflected the expertise and care of a master chef with decades of experience in Norwegian cuisine. What truly elevated the evening was the personal touch--the chef graciously visited our table to greet us and ensure everything was to our liking. That kind of hospitality is rare and deeply appreciated. We ordered three appetizers, a soup, three entrées, and finished with crème brûlée for dessert--and every single item was flawless. An exceptional dining experience from start to finish. Five stars--well deserved. Thank you for an unforgettable meal.

As you enter you are greeted by someone and then it's open seating and you basically scan the QR code and order thru your phone and pay as well it's easy and convenient. The food options are great and their food is Delicious. Simple concept but very well put together. We had their Beet Salad and their Pizza along with their Pork Belly taco and every bite was satisfying and full of flavor. The salad was the win for me I love a good beet salad, the dressing it was tossed in was just perfection along with the goat cheese. For their drinks I had a Beet infused drink and well it was different but just worked and was strong & also tried a local beer. You order your food and then a server just comes and drops off and if you need anything you just look their way and they help out. The servers were very friendly the ones bringing out the food, it was kind of a bummer toward the end, I always say the staff make the visit enjoyable or not and that can def hinder people from coming back. A simple question was asked about the merch and the answer was just rude.. there was a Main lady by the register and she just didn't have the friendliest vibe or smile at all. We left kinda confused but the food was great and that doesn't change the food review and the vibes here. There was an indoor and outdoor seating and cool views to people watch and loved that it was Dog friendly so many cute pups. They had these mixed drinks in can and Lemme tell you they were AMAZING we took them back to our campsite and was the perfect drink to just hang with. Can't wait to pick some up again.

It felt like they were going for more of a lounge or nightclub vibe, which made it way too hard to have a conversation. The service was also hit or miss. The man who took our order wasn't very friendly, although the woman with the gems on her face was fantastic--she was welcoming, efficient, and stood out in a positive way. The biggest issue was the ordering line. There was a long line at one register while a second register had little to no line. The male employees behind that register, specifically two guys chatting with each other, never made any effort to let people know they were available to take orders or help move the line along. It seemed like an easy problem to fix, but they didn't appear concerned about reducing the wait.
