Turned out that sofa was THE most comfortable sofa I've ever sat on. When my husband came out of the restroom I asked him to sit on it. He sat down and within 10 seconds said "We're buying this." Lee was the sales rep that helped us. She was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. She explained that it could take up to two months to receive it but it was delivered in about 4 weeks. The sofa is from a manufacturer called StressLess. It's gorgeous, classy and I'm in love. I 100% would not hesitate to recommend this brand to anyone, especially someone who values comfort. We had a very pleasant experience at Mancini's from the moment we walked through their doors. We were greeted promptly as we entered the store with a "Hello folks, Welcome to Mancini's we will be right with you" (mind you all sales associates were with customers and they still acknowledged our presence). Looking around the room we found that there were many options to choose from so we waited until our sales associate (Tim Dooley) to personally greet us with the normal hand shake, my name is and asking us what kind of sleepers we are. Well sounds like a great way to start to me. Tim pointed out 3 beds along a single wall that were different and asked us to take a few moments to try each one out and that he would be back to get our feedback. Within 10 mins, Tim returned to where we were and asked us what we thought would best suit our needs and we told him the middle bed was the best. With that said, he asked several other important questions and then led us to another mattress in which we decided wasn't in our price range but tried it out anyway. Never knew there were so many options to mattresses. Tim was closing out another customer with their transaction so my husband and I wondered around trying out different mattresses on our own. As soon as Tim was finished he came back to our attention and that is when we let him know what we were liking and what was in our price range. He then led us over to the bed we ended up purchasing at a very reasonable price. The store experience was a No Hassle, Get Comfortable feeling. Tim was very knowledgeable and courtesy to our needs. He set up our delivery for Tuesday and on Monday night, we received a call stating what time they would arrive between.The morning of, I got a call stating the delivery was in route and would arrive in 10 mins. My husband and I are moving to the Bay Area in 3 weeks, so while we are in the area for the final time before our move, we decided to stop in at Mancini's to get ideas on product & pricing for the new bed we are planning to buy when we move. Our salesman was Tim Doole, and he made everything about our hour and a half visit seem pleasant, efficient & simple. We were encouraged to test a range of both traditional and high-tech beds, featuring materials including inner spring coils and memory foam mattress support. Tim helped us choose a king-sized bed from the Tempur-Pedic line, featuring several different adjustable base options. We were able to take advantage of a sale that is currently ongoing at Mancini's, which, in addition to some rebate specials, is saving us nearly $1000 on the total purchase price of our new king sized bed. Tim's expertise, and that of Brian Mancini, ensured that we were able to feel secure about our purchase, well-informed on all of our options. And we never felt pressure to buy, but rather, we were encouraged to try out any option in which we were interested, and decide at our leisure which features appealed most to us. What an experience! We have shopped at Mancinis for our last 5 mattresses. And have spent well over $10,000.00 buying a chattam and wells and a temperpedic. Yep, that's a lot. So when we recently went in to the store and were once again approached by Loren the MANAGER, he recognized us and told us since we were good customers he would be able to give us a great deal. We decided to purchase a Pink kids temperpedic type mattress for our daughter. Loren told us that they normally sell for $499.00 for just the mattress alone but that he would sell it to us for $399.00. We thought we were getting a great deal. But, later that day we were at the dentist office and flipped open Bay Area Parent Magazine and were we shocked to see a huge advertisement for the exact mattress at Mancinis for just $299.00. Yep, we got ripped off. And by the Manager of all people. Now, if we are such good customers, imagine how much they are ripping you off if you aren't a repeat customer. Be careful if you choose to shop there. We went back the next day and got our refund for the difference. There were no questions asked, they probably could tell just how pissed I was and did not want to make it worse. I will NEVER return to Mancinis again. If they are willing to hire a lying sleaze as a manager, imagine what their other employees are like! read more

Right after a house and a car, buying a bed these days comes in near the top of important purchases you will make in your life. We went to the Dublin Mancini's and after meeting the staff there we were optimistic. It had been a long time since we had purchased a mattress and we were a little amazed at all the choices. We ended up getting a gel foam topped mattress but frankly for us it slept very hot. For others it may be OK but for us it was a problem. Robert Salkow at the Dublin store listened to us and was very responsive to our situation. He realized what our needs were and explained that we would probably be better off with another kind of bed. He showed us an Aireloom Sequoia medium firm mattress made with natural materials like cotton, silk, and wool. He arranged the pick up of the other bed and delivery of the new mattress within a week and the bed was delivered yesterday.The bed sleeps like a dream. I really appreciate what Robert did for us to help us get the right mattress. If you are looking for a new mattress, do your homework these days, but then go and see Robert Salkow at the Dublin Mancini's and get the right bed for you at a very fair price and with excellent sales follow up support. Went in to look around and Jason helped us out immensely. He explained why he was showing us each mattress, and what our money would get us. He led us around the store to the least expensive memory foam mattresses and bed frames. Told us how well they held up to the test of time, and we are looking forward to give such a test. We were dreading how much a new mattress and frame might cost, but got out of there for less than half of what we were expecting. I just moved back to the Bay Area after living in the Midwest for the last two years with a wonderful mattress that I needed to leave behind. Tim really took the time to find out what my comfort level was when it came to a mattress. I've never had that one-on-one customer service experience before while mattress shopping. Since I'm a young adult my parents purchased any childhood mattress I might have had. Being that I am now a teacher I really appreciated the financial help that Tim and Brian gave me to find a mattress that I LOVED that could be worked into my tight budget. Needed a new mattress, went to Mancini's and was greeted by Loren and Eric. Talked to Loren for a while, the manager. Found the perfect mattress for my back and my budget. While I was there I found out that Loren has been the Manager there for over 15 years, what's even more impressive is that he said he's been with this company for over 30 years. WOW. Now it seems like mattress stores are a dime a dozen. they are everywhere, I purchased here because I was treated well by the staff and how can you go wrong buying from a place that has an employee that has been there 30 years. I went with my boyfriend to Mancini's because he wanted a new and bigger bed as a birthday gift. As soon as we walked in we were immediately greeted by a sales associate, Loren. He asked us what we were looking for, what kind of bed, our price range, etc. He made us feel welcome and important. He took us through the different types of mattresses and their variances in firm to pillow top. He was very informative, gave us time to talk by ourselves, and even took my opinion into consideration even though the bed was for my boyfriend. Loren had great customer service and truly cared about our financial worries by offering certain discounts, packages, and letting us know about the no tax sale going on. We went into Mancini's Sleepworld in Dublin looking for a new mattress because our Tempur-Pedic from another retailer was giving us problems. We were greeted by Rob, and he and his team were extremely helpful from the start. Rob guided us through a sleep test to make sure the mattress we chose was the right fit right away. He showed us a wide range of options, was incredibly hospitable, and had a great, infectious energy throughout the process. We ended up choosing a Casper Snow King Size, and we're loving it so far! Rob even went above and beyond by helping us navigate the return process with the other retailer and making sure our new mattress from Mancini's arrived on time. I can't help but say wow, what an incredible experience. We were greeted by Mr. Brian Mancini upon walking in.He helped direct us to some bedding . At that point he said feel free to look around and a salesman will be by shortly. Mr. Tim Dooley took very good care of us asking about our needs and habits. The Dublin store is a great place to do business. Karen Rolen helped us find THE mattress we thought we wanted, explained the return policy, took our money and home we went. Delivery was prompt, on time, quick however it was not THE mattress we thought we wanted. Visited with Karen once again, she was understanding, helpful, caring and this time we did find THE mattress we thought we wanted. Once again delivery was all of the above, the first mattress was removed, new one brought into the bedroom, and we love it!!!!! I made the awful mistake of buying a mattress from the so called discounter place, what a joke that was, missed deliveries, no calls. so I cancelled my order and had to wait 3 weeks to get my deposit back. So when I finally got my much needed money I went to Mancini's. I was greeted promptly by the manager Loren, he asked us alot of questions and actually seemed to care about what we needed, nice guy. after showing us about 4-5 mattresses we decided to purchase one. we ended up spending more here than that discount train place but it was much better quality and the service from Loren and their delivery service was outstanding. worth every penny. Omg!!! Tim and Brian are off the hook with customer service and great deals. No presy whatsoever! They are on top of their game! Sleeptrain ain't got nothing on them! Tim went far beyond what we expected, they both made me feel like family. I have a complicated body type and don't really know the best mattress, Tim helped me all the time and guaranteed if the mattress was not good for my body, I could exchange it after I believe 30 or 40days, customer service is so great with these guys that they know my voice over the phone just after meeting them for the first time. You don't shop for a mattress very often and we should all be grateful for that because every ten to twelve years means you have to get reeducated about the new technology. After my experience with a competitor of Mancini's Sleepworld, I was not looking forward to bed shopping with my wife . We stopped in at the Dublin location and were lucky to have Robert help us as soon as we walked in , he was professional ,courteous and most of all treated us like we were VIP's . My husband and I went mattress shopping and we had planned on visiting several different stores to compare prices. We were met at the door by John Tokach, very friendly and professional. John guided us to a variety of mattresses and let us take our time. He answered all of our questions and we never felt pressured to purchase. What a wonderful experience at Mancini's Sleepworld. Have heard a lot of horror stories about mattress shopping so I was a little skeptical at first. After visiting a few different stores I stumbed into Mancini's Sleepworld and was immediatley greeted by Richard. He was VERY friendly and extremely helpful. I didn't know anyone (not even a sales rep seriously!) could actually teach me so much about mattresses over the PHONE! I'm definitely going to get into this store and find out first hand all of the info he taught me. I'm now only slightly obsessed with learning about mattresses now - may take it up as my new hobby :x (kidding - ish) Anyway, bottom line - super impressed with how knowledgeable this man was about something I never knew was so involved!! Like - crazy. Did you know that sleeping in a cradle position is most beneficial to our bodies?! June 19th 2025 Erin…read moreDavis (amazing employee effort) Recently, we had a defective undercarriage on a recliner we had purchased at Valley in July of 2021. We had also purchased the 5 year extended coverage with "Guardsman". When trying to submit a claim we inadvertently used a "wrong date " on the claim form (unless told, simple date input error) subsequently Guardsman would not allow the correction to be made and denied the claim, DO NOT PURCHASE-extended coverage, Guardsman is a fraudulent company. Thankfully, Erin Davis at Valley Furniture went to work and was able to procure the undercarriage parts needed with furniture manufacturer and had delivered to our home, she also set up the furniture repair company to come out and install.. during this process she texted me with correspondence with all parties to keep me informed along the way. Erin was absolutely amazing in her efforts to make sure we as customers were taken care of. Valley Furniture has an employee who is amazing . This follow through was greatly appreciated and unbelievably rare anymore. Lastly, this is an employee that is concerned about protecting the customer. Most furniture purchased anymore is expensive and rest assured Valley has an employee that protects your investment.. Thank you Erin !!

Ordered custom recliners in November 2025, paid $12,000 upfront, quoted 10 weeks for delivery. It…read morenever came. Months went by, and the answers kept changing. When I finally gave up and asked for a refund, that went nowhere, too. I had to file a chargeback with my credit card company to get my money back, which took three months. Taking payment upfront for custom work is normal. Missing the deadline by months and then making the customer fight for a refund is not. Order elsewhere!

We purchased a teak dining set (table, 4 chairs, and a bench) as well as a fire table. Carlos helped us with our order and was friendly and helpful every step of the way; in the showroom, he measured the items and rearranged them for us (even though the pieces were grouped with others, located across the store!), and was patient as we took the time to decide what we wanted. We took our 2 year old with us and even though he ran through the showroom, they were patient and understanding (it's hard shopping with toddlers)! Lots of complimentary yummy snacks and bottled water helped buy us more time shopping. The delivery of our fire table was originally estimated to be 2 months out, but they arrived at our home in about 3 weeks with everything else we ordered! Delivery was smooth as well. We love our new outdoor furniture and will be back for more items in the future. Highly recommend working with Carlos and coming here (vs. buying online such as Wayfair, Costco, Perigold - the quality of Terra is unsurpassable)!

We dropped in on a whim and were nicely greeted by Alan. We had already had a great experience buying a D Core 2 from Aaron last year in their VF location, and we shared how we had been considering a second one but weren't really sure if we wanted to pull the trigger. Alan was wonderful and shared his own experience of how he found having two different massage chairs with different capabilities to be really supportive for him. We loved his recommendation to get a complementary chair - it was perfect for our needs - and ended up putting down a deposit right away for a Panasonic! He made sure we got to actually sit and try out his recommended protocol - we got to try the new chair he recommended, and then went and sat in their model chair of the one we have. It was such an excellent combination and we feel really lucky he gave us that suggestion. We just finalized purchasing the chair yesterday with Matt at Valley Fair (who also was incredibly professional and fun to talk to), and he was able to get delivery setup for today. Talk about fast turnaround! Our white glove delivery team just set up the chair in my home and my husband and I are so pumped for it! All in all, our experiences with Massage Chairs and more have been great. If you are interested in a great massage chair, I highly recommend visiting one of their locations in the Bay!

I will have to come back to test "apples to apples." Half an hour was not enough time, especially for a $15k purchase. Atmosphere - Small high volume location. Their Valley Fair location is just as high volume, but twice the size. Again, plenty of 3 hour free garage mall parking. Service - Gio Scott is so professional. We spent half an hour together before my wife finally finished shopping and got me. When I left, my body was so relaxed! Price - Expensive, but that is the cost for quality and service. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success and with your 4 locations. And congrats to the franchisor and their 250+ locations.

Have been a loyal customer for about 11 years but the recent experience was very dismissive. We…read morehave purchased many appliances from Airport Home Appliance, going back 2015 --a time when the older gentleman operated the stores on the other side of the street. During January 2026, I purchased a new LG dishwasher from Homewise Appliance (formerly Airport). About a week ago, our dishwasher motor began making a high-pitched sound and in three to four days stopped working. We called them immediately sharing our concerns that this is happening within the warranty period. I have elderly people at home for whom I care, and this is a major inconvenience for us. Erik, my sales manager had provided a very good sales experience and spoke very highly of LG. Homewise Appliance also sold me an additional service plan at an "additional cost." I was specifically told that purchasing this service would get us immediate attention from technicians who worked closely with Homewise Appliance, instead of our having to rely on a home-warranty company or find our own appliance-repair technician. I was also told that if the appliance could not be repaired, it would be replaced. I verified these assurances multiple times and paid extra because home-warranty companies do not generally show any urgency. I have now called Homewise Appliance several times, but no one seems concerned about resolving the problem. I am now being told that Homewise has no control over the repair company and I need to deal with LG myself. If that is true, why was I sold any additional service plan besides the basic warranty at all? The truth is that many independent appliance-repair companies in the Pleasanton area will respond within 24 to 48 hours. There is no reason for customers to pay Homewise Appliance for an additional service plan if the company cannot provide the prompt and reliable assistance promised during the sale. A good sales experience with a family-owned business means very little if the company disappears when the customer actually needs the service for which they paid. I expect Homewise Appliance to arrange an immediate inspection of my dishwasher and honor the terms and representations under which this additional service was sold to me. Instead, I am now faced with having to deal with LG directly, without any support from Homewise, while Erik is away on vacation.
