Mancy's is always on point and a good place to go to in Toledo for special occasions. The service is always top notch and ambiance is beautiful & cozy. It is decorated perfectly for Christmas. I haven't had a dish I didn't like (except my oysters were sub par and while it may be pricey- you definitely get what you pay for. The portions are good size too and with most entrees you get a salad & potato/ vegetable. None of that "a la carte" steak nonsense. Large drink selection too- can't beat it! Be sure to make a reservation if you go and ask to sit in the main dining room! read more

First off, this is the finest dining option in Toledo. They're exclusive Mancys beer is very very good,was pleasantly surprised. The waitress was very friendly and attentive and knew everything on the menu to the T. I had the french onion soup and oysters Rockefeller to start, very delicious (first time trying oysters) I ordered the Delmonico cut ribeye, best steak ive had in my life. Cooked to a perfect medium rare as requested. When a special occasion comes up again this is the first place i will go. My only complaint is with myself for living in toledo for 35yrs and not visiting sooner. You get what you pay for. read more

I used to live in the Toledo area. Mancy's was my favorite place to go for the stuffed mushrooms and my favorite filet mignon with crab meat ( by the way.. is the real deal). I have traveled to different cities in many states including Canada and cannot seem to find the same taste and appearance of what I found there. Excellent service by Debbie in the bar, and a comprehensive wine list confirmed my initial impression of the restaurant upon entering of a classic upscale steakhouse. We enjoyed the smoked salmon appetizer, and shared a well prepared 30oz steak medium rare. I also recommend the fingerling potatoes as a side. The best food I have ever eaten in Toledo can be found here. Hands down. The only drawback is that some of the seating areas were too dimly lit in my opinion. Other than that, this place is amazing. There is a reason it is a T-Town institution. Our waitress was more than attentive and the bread they bring you is incredible. I had the King Crab. Yes, you can have good seafood in the Midwest. Large Steakhouse. Wish they had more fish choices. I had the wedge salad and 4 oz fillet for $19. It was excellent. I ate at the bar and felt sorry for the one woman working behind the bar trying to handle all of the bar service and all of the restaurant drinking service. I had lunch at Mancy's Steak House today. It was ok .I had the ribeye steak. It was too salty and I like my salt. I would not order the mashed potatoes again. I have never had a worse experience and been more embarrassed, humiliated, and offended at a restaurant until I had dinner last night at your steakhouse. To make a long story short, I had dinner at your restaurant on May 27th and it was a very bad experience. Due to this, I wrote a review on your page, SEE MY REVIEW, about my experience. Because of this bad experience, Gus sent me a $500 gift certificate. Last night I took my family to eat, and minutes before I was going to write a great review, the manager on duty Chris, would not except the gift certificate and said, we would never give you a $500 gift certificate and that it was a typo. He even called Gus and handed me the phone, and Gus basically told me I was ignorant to believe it was for $500 and that it should of been $50 and it was a typo. It was the most unprofessional thing I have ever been part of. This goes to show me and whoever reads this post that Mancys only cares about making money and will not honor their end. read more

This was our first visit to Mansi's and definitely will not be our last. Our server Elle was extremely personable and made the night even more enjoyable for us. Fantastic restaurant. The service was really great. We had the stuffed mushrooms, which were very good Very good stuffing and cheese on top. I had the French onion soup, which was good. French onion soup is generally never going to wow you at any restaurant, but it was as god as anywhere else. I then got a delmonico steak with bordelaise sauce. The delmonico was fantastic. A perfectly made steak that as just delicious. The bordelaise was a but under reduced, but had a lot of flavor. As a person from Cincinnati where we have Jeff Ruby's, this place would give them a run for their money. read more

A Toledo classic. The ambiance gives a historic and romantic vibe. It's worth getting a drink at the bar first and taking it all in. When I ordered my first Manhattan, the bartender asked if I wanted it on the rocks, which made me nervous and I replied with a firm "Up." It ended up being fine. Our server was friendly and giving her A game. She took our order for starters. I ordered lobster bisque. Then we awkwardly held on the the menus for a while, since she didn't take our main course orders until after the starters came out. I was happy with the lobster bisque, and I'd order it again. They show you how much lobster you're getting, then pour the bisque in at the table. The server was attentive with drinks, and at no point was there a gap where I was without a drink. When the main course steaks came out, everyone at my table (besides me for) said that their steaks were undercooked. They also ordered them, like, medium well/well done, so... maybe the chef didn't know how to deal with that. The server was very attentive and accommodating to getting the steaks prepared correctly, so she did everything she could to make it better, which is why I'm giving a 4 star review instead of 3. And the 4 stars is relative to Toledo, Ohio. read more

Overpriced and underserviced by far. I've been told this place was the place to go for steaks, but I've been going there for the past 12 years as an adult and have yet to be impressed. They're service is slow. The steaks have NO flavor, they are just steaks. And for the price, you should get a lot more food. If you want a good steak and more for your money. This has always been one of our favorite steakhouses until we brought guests awhile back. My husband ordered fish and 1/3 of the way through, it was frozen. The waitress was quite busy but came to our table after we had all finished our meals (except my husband) and we told her about the frozen fish. She said she would show the chef. She came back with the bill and never mentioned the fish. We did not want complain in front of our guests so we paid the bill and left. I asked my husband why he ordered fish instead of steak and he said a good steakhouse should still have good fish! Sad to say this but we will not be going back! read more
