Both were on the lunch special menu, came in generous portions, and were really tasty! The sweet and sour pork even had fresh chunks of pineapple while the orange chicken had fresh slices of orange. Five stars for Scottsdale Chinese Food options! Finding good Chinese food in Scottsdale has always been challenging, so we are so happy that Mandarin Kitchen is open. We called in our order, and it was ready on time. It was hot when we got home. The food was not greasy or overly saucy, which you often find around here. We tried a bunch of different dishes: Wonton Soup - 5 stars; wontons were cooked perfectly, and additional vegetables, chicken, shrimp, etc. were tender and not an afterthought, Chicken panstickers - 4 stars Chicken on a Stick - 4 stars Mongolian beef, kung pao chicken, and Happy Family are all five stars. Great little spot! We were in town vacationing for our honeymoon and we were craving Chinese food. Found this place on here and decided to try it. We loved their Singapore noodles and their egg fried rice (lots of egg, which we loved). The staff were friendly too! We would for sure eat here again if in the area. read more

My husband and I have visited this new restaurant several times. It is very well appointed, clean, and calming. We are always greeted promptly and the service is friendly, knowledgeable, and very efficient. We have tried several dishes from the lunch menu and have been happy with them all. I especially enjoy the Cashew Chicken and my husband liked both the Shrimp Lo Mein and the Sweet and Sour Pork. For the Sweeet and Sour the sauce was served on the side which I have never seen before but my husband was very pleased. The vegetables are not overcooked and mushy and are very fresh. The portions are generous and we usually bring some home with us. The lunch comes with soup, egg roll, and cheese wonton. Our lunches have been served with fried rice instead of white rice I but I don't know if that is true for all the lunch menu dishes. We look forward to future visits now that we have found this restaurant. read more

A welcome addition! Food was extremely fresh, delicious and thoughtfully prepared. Lunch special portions are quite generous and you'd have to be really hungry to finish in one sitting (I did). He told me it be ready in 15 minutes when I arrived at exactyly 14 minutes it was ready! Paid for the food which was IN-credibly affordable. I received a heaping portion of egg fried rice that was AM-azing!! and a hefty portion of breaded sweetn sour chicken with veggies. Order came with a fried wonton which was so crispy and tasty. If that wasnt enough there was an egg roll too!! The sweet N sour sauce was in a separate container so you could pour itover you food to your liking. Over all the food was really good, hot and fresh! However, there is always a bad, sewage type smell, in the restaurant and is a big turn off, especially, for those customers dining in.
