Came here for some tea and Japanese sweets. The service was next to non existent. I was one of three tables and yet it still took 15 minutes to greet me, with two servers. The door was left open when it was 39 degrees outside and there was no soap in the bathroom. This is also the same bathroom for employees. This makes me question how hygienic the staff are. It was my first time trying mango pancakes and it tastes good, although the cream is somewhat thin and diluted. The mango juice sago and pomelo with ice cream was also nice. I love all things Mango so I have been wanting to try this place for a really long time. Mango Mango definitely has a wide variety of Mango based desserts for you to choose from. I ordered the Mango Mille crepe cake. The thick layers of cream did make the cake really rich but the fresh mangos that were paired with the cake cut through the richness to give more of a light, fluffy, refreshing taste. I took one star off only because the cake had a slight artificial Mango taste as opposed to a fresh one which was noticeable but definitely not enough for me to not like the cake. The Mango Mille Crepe Cake is so incredible, it features the paper-thin handmade crepe layered with ethereal light pastry cream. They also put fresh mango fruit on the top and the mango sauce make it much tastier! Alternating crepe and cream layers literally melt in your mouth! You can also have it with mocha flavor, my personal favorite! If you'd like to try something with durian, I think here is the right place for you! I love Mango Mango! I used to go to the one in Chinatown all the time before this one opened. Since I am in St. Marks a lot, this is one of my go to dessert places now. My favorite drink has to be the Snow White mango slusho. It's really refreshing and the mixture of all the ingredients together makes it taste that much better! I also really liked their ice cream, it's so smooth and creamy, goes really well with their other desserts. I have been here several times and the location is very good as it is right on the busy street full of restaurants hoarded by NYU's Asian population. Great place to grab dessert for cheap. If you come late, it may be busy and require a wait as many have just finished dinner. Everything that I have had from here have been tasty and great, no bad calls so far. The service is attentive and sometimes short-staffed but they try their best. However, the kitchen is definitely short-staffed as it takes awhile for a table to get anything besides the water and tea. Came here with my family (5 adults and 2 kids) after dinner and was told that we couldn't sit together. However, there were other groups at the store that had 6 or more adults sitting together. When asked about a reasoning, the waiter was very dismissive.
