This place is great for some decent korean food near UCR. I ordered the large chicken katsu plate. The chicken was a bit on the dry side but very crispy. Rice was cooked right and not too soggy or too dry. The salad on the side went well with the chicken katsu. It was a good meal and worth its price. The only reason I only gave it a 4 star is the time it takes to get the food out, which is around 10 min or so if no one has ordered before you. read more

The order: Beef bulgogi (4.99 special) and spicy rice cakes. My friend got the ramen and potato croquet. The pro: The portion is huge! I took a picture with a phone to show the size comparisons. I really like the spice of the rice cakes. It's actually pretty spicy but edible if you ate it slowly. The con: I didn't deal with this problem but I saw others did. There wasn't a lot of seating. It has the vibe of a fast food court where you order, try to get a seat if you dine in, and they call your name for you to pick it up on a platter. Also the potato croquet were not flavorful at all. Basically a ball of bread tasting potato mush. The verdict: Despite the visuals of the place, it's actually pretty good and for the cheap price it's worth! read more

I ordered the Chicken Katsu -- I think that the portion size is a good size for what you pay but I could not shake off the fact that the cutlet kind of tasted like a giant chicken nugget. I tried some of my friend's ddukbokki (spicy rice cake) and it had a real authentic kick to it. A nice side order. Was in the mood of having some bibimbap and Daughter suggested this place. It was a fast food place but I was surprised by the quality of food they offered. We ordered bibimbap and bulgogi fried rice. Loved the bibimbap (both the taste and the presentation). I can eat this everyday! The bulgogi fried rice was very flavorful. Service was excellent. It was clearly a family business and the owners were attentive to the needs of the customers. I will definitely come back for the bibimbap. read more

The Kimbop and bimbimbap was delicious . Drove from Moreno Valley. Didn't know we couldn't dine in. Didn't mind it they were fast with our order and still hot when we got home. Only complaint wasn't with them we had to pay for parking we were there less than 30 minutes. read more

I've been here twice, and got the bulgogi beef plate with no rice, extra salad. It's not my favorite bulgogi (R.I.P. Hana Teryaki in Paso Robles) which is why I couldn't give 5 stars, but it's pretty darn close. I would like more meat for $9+, but I might have been spoiled in Paso? I really do like this place, and the fish ice cream bar was kickin! (Not fish flavored) I intend to go back, but I'll try something different next time. Whenever I'm craving korean food, I always come to mana grill! My favorite dishes are Kimbap, tteobki, and the Katsu. The spice tolerance isn't too high and all the food is super delicious. The workers there are nice and friendly. They're willing to help you out if you're stuck on a dish, but I recommend just trying everything! Since it's located in the UV, it's easy to access that area. Definitely would come again! read more

Cheap & quick Korean food. It's nothing super special. But if you're craving Korean food, this will do, especially since there aren't a lot of Korean places around the area. I've tried the Katsu Plate, Spicy Pork Plate, and Spicy Squid Plate. Out of the three, I liked the spicy squid the best. It was spicy with lots of veggies. The katsu was too dry and thin. The spicy pork was okay - nothing really special. The food came out very slow, which was expected since we came here around 12PM on a weekday (lots of students were here for lunch!). The plaza where this restaurant is located can get really packed, so it can be hard to find parking! Also, my friend who's been coming here since the grand opening told me that their portion has gotten smaller... Overall, I would probably come here again if I'm in the area and craving something quick! read more

Wow so good, been on this Korean food kick lately and this place is delicious. We had the spicy rice cakes with noodles, fish cake, boiled egg, dumplings and cheese on top, that was excellent. One of the few Korean cuisine places I've tried thus far and I can tell you that it is absolutely amazing. The quality (and quantity) is the best, as well as the prices. Each plate was rich in taste and flavor in its own way. The owner was the nicest and most welcoming, as well as helpful in recommendations. Seriously so genuine and sweet. I went with 4 other people and we paid less than $60 for the food pictured as well as ice cream and drinks. My top favorites would have to be the kimchi fried rice and dumplings (although I've never been a huge fan of kimchi or dumplings until now), but each was delicious and I can't wait to try more next time! This place is the place to go for your Korean comfort food fix! The service varies here as you can have excellent service or just ok. However, the food for the most is great, from the bulgolgi plates to kimbap rolls! The only main downside is that the food can be extremely salty, especially the bulgolgi so take care for that! Otherwise the food is solid here. Wait for food is average and if I ever am ordering togo, I just call ahead and the food is always ready when I'm in a rush! read more

As a Korean American who loves Korean food, I can confidently say that Manna Grill is not for the culinary connoisseur. As a matter of fact, the quality of food here is more apt for the homesick, Korean (American), UCR student craving mom's home cooked meals or the novice Korean food enthusiast. I won't lie, I wish this place was around during my UCR days when I was a poor and starving student. But at this point in my life, I've moved up. Now this review is based on my first and only experience here, so there is definitely a possibility that I went on a "bad day" and ordered the "wrong thing." But, how does one mess up steamed white rice? I ordered the Chicken Katsu to-go. The meal comes with katsu, rice, and shredded cabbage. The rice was overcooked to the point where the grains were clumped together like a ball of rice cake. It had such a horrible mouth feel that I chose not to eat it. The katsu, although tasty, was so thin that I felt like I was eating panko flakes with katsu sauce. Where's the meat? And lastly, the cabbage salad was without dressing -- so I just had dry, shredded cabbage. I am willing to go back and give this place another try - but will definitely order something different from the menu. I can bet that the reason this place is still in business is that it caters to home sick Korean (Korean-American) students who need some rice and kimchi. read more

Not a bad spot for Korean comfort foods. They have a decent selection of items to choose from. Some items are made better than others. For example, their Nengmyun isn't that great but their spicy pork was delicious. However a bit pricey for the portion amount in my opinion. But nevertheless, this is one of the few spots in Riverside that offers Korean food and I find it to be a guilty pleasure of mine whenever I can't think of where to eat. Not bad at all! Decent prices and decent food. I'm not going to say I was wowed or blown away, but I did appreciate the portions and the quality for the prices. I ordered the naengmyeon combo with the pork katsu and the Korean chicken wings. The combo was a little over $12 and the wings were around $9 for at least 8-10 pieces. I am pretty particular about naengmyeon and a lot of places can do it so wrong. This one was okay! Pretty refreshing and the cold broth had a nice flavor with some good acid from the vinegar to pass as a completely edible dish. The noodles were a little more on the bouncy side, but better than soggy I suppose. The katsu was pretty good but a little bit dry, I've had better. The only thing I would probably never get again is the chicken wings, and I don't have any good reasons why except I just didn't find it to be very special or appealing. The flavor and the fry and the juiciness of the meat all came short. Maybe my expectations for Korean chicken is higher than they are for the usual chicken wing. Regardless, I think their other dishes were pretty solid, like the spicy squid. Wouldn't come out all the way just to eat here, but I wouldn't pass it up if I were in the area and craving some Korean food. read more

The Korean food is pretty good and the portions are pretty large. When I came in, it was around 8PM and it was pretty quiet.
